I get this pop up screen continuously on my screen. Ever since I switched to Firefox, I was using Safari. The only other Apps open are my Mac Mail and Finder.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

    I am using firefox 34.0 on Win7 64bit. This issue occurs intermittently and after I've been viewing and navigating a known secure website. The error message will show completely unrelated sites under the "Technical Details". If I close the browser and restart it, and return to the known secure site the next time the error occurs the sites listed will be different.
    in addition the sites listed have not been visited during that browsing session. And none are accessed through the viewed pages (i.e. "ads").
    I have read the other questions of this type and their solutions and tried them. Nothing has helped. This problem started either in 32.0 or 33.0.

    Are you referring to the issuer domain of the certificate?
    What sites do you see listed?
    Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
    Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
    All these programs have free versions.
    Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

    I am trying to copy photos from a recent vacation to my iPad2.  The process was straightforward using iTunes until recently. Now I am getting a message warning me that if I sync photos from the folder on my PC to iTunes and my iPad, photos already on the iPad (except ones taken by the iPad) will be removed.  I am running iOS 8.0.2 and the most recent iTunes update. I do not want to remove all the other photos from my iPad, so I cancel the sync.  I have tried copying the photos using the Apple SD card connector, but it does not recognize my SD card (it does recognize an SDHC card, but I am unable to copy the photos to that card).  Is anyone else gettinga message like what I describe above when trying to sync photos to an iPad2 in iTunes?

    It is really a very simple fix. Place ALL of the photos that you want to sync to the iPad into one photos folder and sync that folder to the iPad. In your case, place the next set of photos that you want to sync, into the folder with the first set of photos that you already synced to the iPad. You can only sync from one main photos folder and if you choose another folder that does not include the photos that you previously synced, those photos will be erased from the iPad - as you have now discovered.
    You can sync one level of sub folders with the main photos folder. You can have as many sub folders as you want (as long as you have the storage space available on the iPad) but you can only sync from one main photos folder. After you place all of the photos into the one main folder, when you go to the Sync Photos From drop down menu in iTunes, select that main photos folder and all of the sub folders that you placed in there will appear and you can select each sub folder to sync as well.

    They may have all signed into the same ID for iMessage when they updated their devices.  To fix this you have a couple of choices:
    On all but one of the devices go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID (so each person's devices are using a separate ID for iMessage).  Note: you can still share the same ID for purchasing in Settings>iTunes & App Stores; or
    On all of the devices go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and uncheck the email address(es) shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at".  Also uncheck anyone else's phone number, if present.
    I you are sharing the same ID for FaceTime you may end up getting each other's FaceTime calls too.  To prevent this, go to Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID (so each person's devices are using a different ID for FaceTime too).

    I'm trying to restore bookmarks from a .json file (as xmarks keeps duplicating and corrupting my list) and Firefox often works really slowly also. I think this unresponsive script is the one that randomly comes up when I'm working FF hard, and causes it to run slowly- or it is a very similar looking message. Any comments and ideas appreciated .

    One other thing....the same script error on Ubuntu Linux 11.10 on my old Dell. And it seems that the backup I thought I had made probably was saved incorrectly, again only half of the bookmarks I had sorted out were created in the file- i should have exported a copy as another safeguard!

    The most likely cause is a problem with Java on your system - older and/or messed up Java installations seems to cause this issue sometimes.
    To fix:

    I contacted the vendor and their reply was "we were told that this looks like a script that is used by "Sticky Password", third-party software that must have been installed on your browser. However, our website did not install it and does not have anything to do with it." As far as I can tell, "Sticky Password" is not installed on my Firefox.
    Same problem as above occurs, but with IE 8.0.6001.18702. Therefore, it is not unique to Firefox.
    CAUSE DETERMINED: Have determined that this problem only occurs when Kaspersky Password Manager is installed. In Firefox, if the "Password Manager Autofill Engine" add-on is disabled, the problem goes away.
