Why do I ge a timed out for network ATT648

Why do I get a timed out connection for network ATT648 I can use jarius, but prefer ATT648

Hi Jon
just a shortcut or alias to an item that no longer exists.
Ctrl-click & use 'icon & text' & you will see a name for it, which may give a clue as to the origin. Just ctrl-click it choose 'remove item' to get rid. Or use Finder-View-Customise Toolbar to drag it off into a puff of smoke.

  • Operation timed out (FSP network services manager)

Received this error from five different RMAN jobs, all submitted at approx 6am, all failing within a couple of minutes. Resubmit of all five jobs worked fine. Many other jobs submitted at approx the same time worked fine. Time out does not appear to be related to waiting on tape drive resources.
Any ideas as to cause? If this is a network thing, any way to extend the timeout or cause it to retry?

Either reconfigure CONNECT_TIMEOUT to be 0, which means wait indefinitely, or reconfigure CONNECT_TIMEOUT to be some higher value. Or, if the timeout is unacceptably long, turn on tracing for further information.

  • PLEeeeeASE help!! Why oh why is connection timing out for only one podcast?

    Hi.
Previously I have had no worries downloading podcasts, but now suddenly have trouble with Nova 100's Hughesy and Kate.
When I try to download it, it comes up with an exclamation point saying "network connection timed out".
Other podcasts seem to be working fine, even bigger files.
Have tried deleting it from iTunes and then re-subscribing, both through the itunes store and through the advanced tab with the url. Still no luck.
Someone else had tried downloading from their computer, so URL must be working elsewhere. Have also tried disabling firewall.
Can anyone shed some light on why this might be happening pleeeease?!?!
    Thanks v. much!!

I never figured out why the java.net code wasn't posting, but I've gotten it to work with the Apache Commons HttpClient. Funny since in another place we use that same java.net code to post XML to another site. I wish Sun would stop playing with their servers so much and focus on Java even more. ;)

  • Custom Reports timing out for past 2 days.....

I have been trying for a couple days to create a custom report -
When i click on Reports > custom reports > ecommerce > I select products and click next and it has timed out consistently for a couple days now.....
This kind of stuff is why we are moving away from BC - you would think though as large as adobe is this platform would be more robust and stable. Very disapointing.
    *sigh*

    Hi Tom,
Have you raised a case or reach direct chat support?  This is obviously not normal behavior and should be escalated if still happening.
If you have an existing case please provide this so I can check the status.  Otherwise please proceed reaching to direct support with this.
    Kind regards,

  • Read timed out, for file checkin using SCS API

    Hi,
I have installed content server and deployed CIS in standalone oc4j.
I want to checkin files using the SCS API. Initially I was to able checkin a file of size 120MB successfully. When I tried to checkin a file of size 300MB , file is checked in but an Exception with the msg "Read timeout out" is thrown.
I am able to checkin the same file(300MB) through content server front end without any error. Why do I get exception when using the API?

I would probably guess that CIS is configuring its socket threads to have particular timeouts (to limit the time you would wait if something seriously went wrong with the request). Typically CIS is focused on page generation in APP servers or portals and these app servers (or portals) tend to like timeouts on their requests. This of course is unsuitable for the scenario of uploading the file. I would consult the CIS documentation to see if there are any mechanisms for tuning this behavior. If not, try contacting support.

  • Why does my session keep timing out, yet I've been on my account info less than a minute?

I switched computers and have authorized my new computer to use itunes and transfer my purchases, all that good stuff.
I had to change my e-mails because the old e-mail was no longer being used, so I changed that information and I'm wondering if that's why I'm encountering this problem:
When I try to check my account information it takes 3-7 times before it will take me to the page.
When I logged out and then back in it brings up a message saying:
    "Verification is required
Before you can make purchases, you must click OK, the verify your payment information."
    So then I click OK.
Then I put in my password and press Billing Info. After around 10 entries of my password it finally takes me to the page and then I press done after but then it says my session has timed out.
So I was given a gift card and put it into my account, which also took a million times to get to work because of my password confirmation prompt. Now when I go to download an album it asks me the basic "Are you sure?" and I say yes and then I have to add my password another million times, then it takes me to answer my security answers then I answer and once again it says my session has timed out. After not even a MINUTE of being on the page.
I'm just so frustrated! I haven't been on itunes because I haven't been using my ipod as often. Now there's this album I can finally buy and now I can't buy it because itunes is screwing up! I can't help but think it's because I changed my e-mail on the account, but I verified everything. And I'm pretty sure I did everything.
Anyway, anyone have an answer to this problem?

The update is several hundred megs
Which means it can't be done over 3G if you're trying it that way. And if your other internet connection isn't fast enough it will time out.
People have also had issues with their firewalls or anti virus software....the software detects the update file as a virus or malware (incorrectly of course) and blocks it. So you can also try disabling your firewall or anti virus and give it a try and see if that helps.

  • Why is my Thunderbird connection 'timed out'?

I am new to Mozilla Thunderbird. And am not very savvy with computers.
I have gone through all the settings and made sure all the ports etc are correct. In the top left hand corner where the email address [email protected] is displayed, there is a padlock over the mail icon and every time I click inbox or view mail a message pops up saying connection timed out???
I have also tried viewing the emails in the google chrome browser and am also having troubles loading.
Please help asap as I am trying to run a business and havn't been able to view anything for a week now!

Yes, I can access the internet. Everything else seems to be working fine. I can access my hotmail, commbank and everything else with no probs it just seems to be my work emails that are having issues through thunderbird and google chrome browser.

  • Why does my ipad keep timing out

My ipad keeps timing out saying server timed out every time I search the web or try to check my email

Maybe your firewall is causing the issue. Security/antivirus software can cause problems as well. Try rebooting your router. Sometimes that is all that it takes to keep you conected to the internet.
Unplug the router from the power source for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in again. Restart your iPad as well. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

  • "Network connection timed out" for albums but not singles? huh?

When I try to buy an album (15 songs for $10.99) I get the error mssg "network timed out." All my connections are working fine. But when I try to buy any individual single (at $1.29 each) it goes through. Is this a ploy to get me to spend $19 instead of $11 for the same material? How can I buy the whole album?

ps. I have store credit with iTunes!
