I just baught a new iPod and had the "blue screen" problem with the camera. Your suggestion to "Reset" fixed the problem:

In the text you say you are using Snow Leopard. Snow Leopard will not operate on a G4 (or any Mac with a PowerPC processor). Leopard OS 10.5 is the max OS for PowerPC processor Macs. Your profile shows OS 10.5.6. What OS are you using (or trying to use)?

You have 10.6 on that machine, I suggest you stick with it for performance, third party hardware and software reasons as long as possible.
Consider 10.8 (not 10.7) when it's released, because 10.7 and 10.8 will require a new investment in software and newer third party hardware as it requires newer drivers the old machines won't have. (forced upgrade because of software, really nice of them)

Far as your Safari problem do these things until it's resolved:
1: Software Update fully under the Apple menu.
2: Check the status of your plug-ins and update (works for all browsers) also install Firefox and see if your problems continue. You should always have at least two browsers on the machine just in case one fails.

The screen on my Ipod touch came away from the back.

The screen on my ipod touch came away from the back and then stuck back down a couple of days later. The battery seems to be weak now but everything else is OK. What could have caused this? Over chargibg in the car cradle?, Heat? Being held too tightly in the cradle?, Getting water inside?
Has this happend to any of you.

If you successfully restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem. Could be the screen or something else.

My problem is that sometimes I get a blue screen using USB communication. I guess that most of the time the problem is an overflow in memory, so I read all the data that is on the port with which I communicate. I read two ports so there are two similar VIs that are used. There is how I do it:

Are you using USB to GPIB (doubtful because you are using bytes at port)? But, just inc ase, I had this problem also with USB to GPIB, and it ended up being a driver issue I believe. If you are using USB to GPIB driver that was released with LV2012, search for the latest 2012 driver on NIs site, download it, and use that. See if it fixes your problem

Blue Screen when connecting iPod Touch -

Hello,
unfortunately I have no points to reward an answer.
Still, I get my chance to get one from a friendly and understanding person.
The iPod Touch is a "September edition" with firmware 1.1.4 (4A102) lately updated.
Whenever I connect he iPod, my PC immediately crashes with a bluescreen.
I didn't have such problem with previous firmware. I guess I could come back to 1.1.3 and wait for 1.1.5. However, I would rather do it only if there is no other solution.

Well, try to follow the instructions above written:
Go to the computer's properties (Right-click on "My Computer");
Click the “Hardware” tab and then hit “Device Manager”. A new pop-up window will appear;
Click the plus sign next to “Universal Bus Controllers” to enlarge their list;
Right click on any items that identified as “Usb Host Controller” or “Usb Universal Host Controller”;
Then lick “Update Ddriver”, and configure it to do “this time only” and then hit next button;
Select “Install the Software Automatically”
It will automatically search and install updated drivers. This should work, the problem comes from your PC and not from your iPod.
