I was able to run your posted script through without error as long as I had the "Calculate Quantity-Based" button in ANALYSIS unchecked. The moment I checked it, though, your same VBScript produced on my computer the error you're getting on yours, at the ChnAverage() command. Thus, I believe somehow that button in ANALYSIS got recently checked on your computer. If you have the "Calculate Quantity-Based" button checked, you will also see channel units display in the Data Portal:

I have iTunes running on my Windows8 desktop for some while with no problems. Yesterday I purchased a song, deleted a free game app. and upgraded to the most current version of iTunes. This morning I could not pull up iTunes, so I retored my iTunes to a setting two (2) days ago. Why am I getting an error about units?
I have Labview 7 Express Student Edition on a Dell laptop with XP Pro. I was building a vi with the Simulate Signal Express vi, connecting pointer slides to the amplitude and frequency terminals. I got a broken wire and an error message on the frequency terminal; the error said 'units are incompatible'. There was no error or broken wire on the amplitude terminal.
On the slider, I tried showing units and typing in 'Hz'. This didn't help. How does one setup the units for amplitude and frequency...both at the slider and at the simulate signal express vi?

Electrical EngineerThanks Jeff. According to the book that included the student edition cd, there is a demo vi that does what I want to do. I couldn't find it in the learning directory so I was trying to recreate it as shown in the book. The vi diagram in the book (about page 514) doesn't include the Convert Unit primitive.
I'm trying to come up with some audio demonstrations for an 8th grade class, illustrating wavelength measurement and constructive and destructive interference. I'd like to be able to connect a signal from the vi to the laptop's audio output jack. I've searched ni.com, looking for a way to both display a sine wave and play the tone in the speaker but no luck so far.
I might have to just create .wav files and play them. It sure would be fun to
be able to move the slider's pointer and let them hear the change in tone.

Why I am getting an error stating incorrect media types when trying to setup playlists?
I recently created a new playlist I wanted to setup on my iPhone, but I get an error message telling me that iTunes & iCloud cannot use the playlist as it has file types it cannot use.
The only file types in the playlist are AAC's & MP3's.
I don't gget it. I understand that iCloud will not do really large files or videos, but I checked the file sizes, bit rates and types of each song and none of them are anything that iCloud says it cannot use.
What the heck is going on?iCloud also doesn't do tunes with bitrates below 96 Kbps.

I have a Free Agent external backup hard drive connected to my iMac Intel desktop via USB, I never unplug it. Why do I get an error message, from time to time, upon startup stating, "Disk was disconnected improperly. Always eject disk before disconnecting."?
I never unplug the external harddrive, and the error message comes up only occassionaly upon startup. Maybe the USB connection gets disrupted enough to cause the computer to see it as disconnected and then reconnected while the iMac is powered.

why do I get an error message when I start safari 5.1 telling me I need to open browser in 32 bit mode in order to "view movie" ? This occurs when I start safari on the opening page (the page with all the boxes for most viewed web sites). This had never occurred with safari up until the latest updates to safari & OSX [Version 5.1 (6534.50)] and OSX 10.6.8.
also, I'm not trying to view a movie - this occurs for the page previews that load when safari opens.

i am unable to set up my iphone 5 after reset since am getting a error stating 'unable to reach server' . i tried restoring the same from my computer but i get a error stating server unavailable' . please help me as my phone is stuck at the set up page. so i have already tried recovery mode as well.

You are getting an error message because there is an error.
Knowing wht version of Pages you are using, what template you are attempting to open, and what error message Pages is sending you might help determine why you are getting that specific rror message. Without those, the first sentence above i pretty much all that can be said with any assurance.

Why do I get "generic error" message when trying to upload a self-created, 1hr .wmv file?
I went through the forums and made sure that any blocks or copywrites weren't triggered by the file, it's clean and can be opened using a media player and other video editing software like windows MovieMaker. I keep getting "The importer reported a generic error" message and have no idea how to proceed. Can someone please help?

This ARTICLE starts with a checklist on setting up a computer to run PrE best, then goes into a series of links for tuning up one's computer and OS, and then links on troubleshooting.
There is also a link on posting all necessary info, to help others help you.
Without knowing much more about your system, it is impossible to say much beyond that WMV's are tough assests to work with, requiring a lot of CPU horsepower.

If that doesn't help, drag the App Store icon straight up off your Dock so it goes, "poof".
Now drag the App Store icon from your Applications folder to the Dock. Try updating your apps. -

Why do I get this error message when I open Organizer in Photoshop Elements 11 "Elements Organizer has stopped working"? My only option is to Close Program so I am effectively locked out of my photo catalogue. I have tried reinstalling the program but it made no difference to the error message.

Why do I get this error when trying to use my bluetooth headset as a listening device? There was an error connecting to your audio device. Make sure it is turned on and in range. The audio portion of the program you were using may have to be restarted.
I may have already resolved this issue buy removing the device from my computer and re-pairing it. It is currently working just fine.
