Why do I get a slash mark through the icon for the ripple edit?
I have a problem using the ripple edit in CS5 since whenever I click on that icon and try to use it on the timeline, there's a slash through the icon and it doesn't seem to work.
Move it closer to the cut.

I get the icon for "The song can’t be located; it may have been moved or delete" but it is there and if I play it it does play. However, it will not sync. I have thousands of songs in iTunes and this appears on many of them. Is there a quicker way of clearing the icon other than playing each track?
That icon does indeed mean that the file cannot be located (I just needed to confirm this, to avoid future confusion).
When you start iTunes, any external storage locations need to be ready to read and have the same drive letter associated with the drive as it did when you added the songs to your iTunes Library. If these conditions are not met, then iTunes will be unable to find the file.
In addition, if the file has been renamed, moved (but still on the same drive) or even deleted, by you, or any other programme, then once again, your iTunes will not be able to find the file, hence the exclamation mark.
I'm no experrt on NAS storage, but essentially, the file path to the song's file must remain constant. iTunes looks for the files as soon as it starts up.
If all your Librayr is external to the computer, you could try re-linking the whole Library to iTunes. Alternatively, I think it's going to be one at a time. -

There is no separate icon for FaceTime. You access it through contacts. Go into the contact you want to call and tap the FaceTime button.

I got home today and got a message on Messages or IMessage and the Messages app would not open i restarted my computer and it had a question mark as the icon for the app. Help!?!?! What does this meen how can i prevent further damage or fix damage delt

HOW DO I GET THE ICON FOR THE PRINTER FOR A MAC COMPUTER X10 BACK ON DESKTOP?
After printing a document I wanted to go into the printer itself which is a 932C DeskJet Hewlitt Packard and delete the document as do not want to print it out entirely again. I tried listing the pgs.
I wanted but it proceeded to give me the entire thing again so I shut off printer. Need to be able to get to printer pg. and delete document so it doesn't keep printing off entire thing again.
There are Icons at the bottom of the screen on my desktop and the printer used to be there but it accidentally got deleted and I want to get that icon back.
Thanks for your help.Default apps are part of the iOS and cannot be deleted. Search all home screens and all folders and/or search for it with Spotlight, that will tell you what folder it's in.
If not found, Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. -
Why do i get an error that says no room for the import
When importing photos to my iphoto i get the message that says there is no room on the drive. Not possible. I even removed 300 pictures and tried to add just one photo and it would not let me.

If you can't find it and it hasn't been restricted as suggested by stedman1, You can reset the home screen layout and the icon will reappear - but the home screen will return to the way that it looked when you first activated your iPad.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. -

As mentioned in a previous answer to this very same question, the tree is a stamped component which means that you need to partially refresh the tree component to show the icon. You can us the selectionListener (override the current setting to use a managed bean setting the current row - calling the same EL) to determine the new selected row key and then use the rendered option to determine (using a managed bean reference) if the current rendered node (#{node} is accessible from a managed bean at render time) is the selected node.
The side effect is that upon tree node selection the tree will "flicker"

Why do I get a constant clicking through my ear buds when playing music or videos? I am using Samsung phone earbuds. The clicking is at a 1 second intervals, and actually partially drops out the sounds. Thanks
Have you tried another set of earbuds so that you can rule out a problem with the Samsung's?

Why can't I update my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1? Every time I try it gets all the way done downloading it; however when it's processing the file the page tells me "There is a problem downloading the software for the iPhone. Network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active. or try again later." and next to the file it has err = -3259. I have tried this 17 times and it won't work. My iTunes is completely up to date. I have made sure that my connection is fine and I have tried turning my firewall off with no avail. This has happened to me before but usually the update will go through after 2-3 tries, never to this extent. I don't know what to do. Help!

why am I getting a message suddenly that I am exceeding the gift card limit on my iTunes id for buying gift cards? I have never had a problem before and have a good credit card on file. I've lost a load of notes, but dont know why or how to get them back. I cant find the folder that is in my Yahoo account that people have suggested might be the location for the messages. I recently signed into iCloud for the first time. Any idea how to get the notes back? I really dont want to lose them.
It should keep asking for the password, because it's trying to check for purchases... As soon as you login, it will see you have pending downloads and create the downloads section on the left below Purchases under the Store section. Then it will start the music downloads there, as they will be listed one below the other.
You could just try to check your account balance or view your account and that will trigger a password request too. You can just click on that and say that now iTunes keeps asking for the password and ask him to help you with that. Trick would be to interrupt him so that he carries on with another task after, so he doesn't notice the download. Or you carry on with email or browsing which you were "busy" with when iTunes interrupted you for the password (stupid iTunes) -

Then I'd check the system drive, if it has problems.

Restart your Mac and hold down the Command key and the R key (Command-R), and keep holding them until the Apple icon appears, indicating that your Mac is starting up.
You will see a panel, where you can use Disk Utility to check your System Drive. -

It's in recovery mode. You don't have a choice. Anything that was on the phone is already gone. If you didn't back it up, there is no way to recover it.

Itunes store playback cuts off after 15 seconds
