Where is the "Settings icon in the lower right corner of the Home Sharing window."? Anybody else doesn't find it? Is it because of I have the most updated version of iTunes? Have things changed?
What I had to do is send to my iPhone from my Mac, respond to the resulting alert, choose the action button while the destination was highlighted, and then save the address to favorites.

How to move the banners from the upper right corner to the low right corner of the screen on Mac (Mavericks)?
Sometimes, when I am about to click something in the upper right corner, the banners stand in the way. It is very annoying.
However, I still need them and it is not an option to completely turn off notifications.
Has anybody faced the same problem?Yeah, i've been playing around a bit with Notifications, and not being able to move there location is very annoying. The default location normally means it is covering one or more tabs in Safari (or any tabbed application for that matter). Might have to try Growl again.

The lower right corner of my screen clicks when I press on it.
I have an iPhone 5, and when ever I press on the bottom right corner of the screen, it makes a clicking noise. If I press hard, it will stop for a few minutes, but then starts again. Whats wrong?

All I get is a grey conversation box on bottom right, but no video.
If I follow my own link, I am told I am the first one there, I am asked for permission to use camera and then I get a video of myself, but if a second person tries to join he is then told there are already two people in that conversation.
If I let the second person follow the link first, he is told he is the first one there, but then if I follow the link, I am told there are already two people involved in the conversation.
If I don't follow the link, the other person doesn't appear in the grey box, I don't appear in the grey box, and nothing happens.
The grey box referred to above just says 'conversation 2' (or whatever I name it), it then has a minimise, expand, and a close button. Below that, an exit, and mute video and audio options (both are unmuted), a speech bubble allowing me to name the conversation, and a banner saying 'Invite someone to join you.' and Email Link and Copy Link buttons. Unless I follow my own link, that's it.
Am I missing something obvious here?Apparently I am on the most up to date Firefox version, if that helps.

All my hard drives (internal and external) have a small lock in the lower left corner of the icon and I don't have permissions to access. I have 3 user accounts set up and I cannot access any of them. Permissions are set to 'Custom' in the get info window and I can't change them. Originally I had Snow Leopard installed on one hard drive and 10.5.8 installed on another. I started to have some problems accessing data between them and so I tried changing the permissions on ONE hard drive partition. The next thing I know, all my drives are locked (except the ones with the systems on them), the small lock appeared in the lower left corner of the drive icons and I don't have permissions to access any of them. In the get info window, permissions are set to 'Custom' and I can't change them.
There is suddenly a lock icon on my external backup drive!

I booted up this morning to find my voice over feature active. A black bar was at the lower left corner of my screen. When I began to click on the users in my login window it would not respond. All that I saw was the black bar saying authentication busy. I was not able to restart, I was not able to switch users, I was not able to shut down. I decided to manually shut down my Mac. when it booted back up I was looking at the disk utility screen. When I clicked on repair or race it indicated that my hard drive had already been arranged. I was looking at completely formatted drive and I was having to either restore from Time Machine or reinstall lion. I had a back up but why did this happen?
A possible workaround could be to have the horizontal scroll bar visible all the time.

How can I get rid of a small "thread" in the lower right corner of my new 27" Cinema Display?
I recently acquired a new 27" Cinema display. Yesterday I noticed a small thread like piece of debris under the glass on the lower right side of the display. Any suggestions as to how I can get rid of it? Take it to the Apple Store? Return it for a replacement (which might have the same issue).

What is the fourth control button in the upper right corner of the FF 4 window?
I had to reinstall FF4 during a virus cleaning process, and there are now 4 control buttons displayed in the upper right corner of the window. From the right, there's the usual "Close" (red), "Restore down" and "Minimize" buttons (both blue), and then there's a fourth, green button, with no "ToolTip" associated with it. What's the behavior of this new button?
I'm not normally this curious, but I've just had a battle with the "Antivirus Antispam 2011" malware, and am very sensitive to new graphics that I don't recognize.

A non-movable black box with "Bitdefender Quick Scan" "you haven't scanned your computer in a while. Would you like to start QuickScan now? appeared at the bottom right corner of my screen. How do I remove it?
Your system details list shows a "Bitdefender QuickScan Web Netscape Plugin", so you must have or had Bitdefender software installed.
You can set the plugin.expose_full_path pref to true on the about:config page to see the full path of enabled installed plugins on the about:plugins page.

As I today reinstalled Thunderbird and Lightning, I discovered, that the 2 small tabs (Calendar and tasks) in the upper right corner of the window is interfering with the icons at the same place from the program Ultramon, that i use because I now are working with 2 displays.
Are there any way to move those 2 tabs a little further to the right?
It is not a very big problem, but a bit annoying to click at the tasks tab, and the window jumps to the next screen.

I'm getting a very low signal from my Blackbird interface. The fire wire connection is selected properly and track recording sliders set. However the recording level slider in the lower right corner is grayed out. How can I get better signal?
If it's slow on startup it would be extensions loading or LaunchDaemons starting up.
You should have a look in:
/Library/LaunchDaemons
/Library/Extensions
You can count out anything in your home folder and it shouldn't put anything in /System as that's reserved for Apple.
