Why do I get an email telling me my iCloud storage is full?

When I check my settings, I see that I still have 4.7 GB available of the 5.0 allotted.

The problem could be that you don't have enough storage on the device itself, not on iCloud.  Go to Settings>General>Usage to see how much "Storage" you have available on the device.  Farther down the list is the available storage on iCloud.
Also check:
Go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage; there, tap the device you need info on and the resulting screen lists Backup Options with which apps store data on iCloud as well.
A device needs many MB of storage in order to perform a backup to iCloud.

After several instances of my call being cut off after being on hold for at least half an hour, I finally got through after three hours and was able to speak to a fraud representative. I gave her my info and told her the problem and she told me I had called the wrong department. Instead of the fraud department, I needed the online order department. She transferred me, and I waited on hold again. When the representative from the online order dept picked up, she first told me if it was a fraud issue I'd need to speak with the fraud dept - who had JUST transferred me to her. After this, she said that my order is not on hold, because it hasn't even been processed yet or had the credit check done. When I asked if this meant I hadn't needed to call at all, she said yes. Is this actually true or is there a chance that there's an issue with my order I don't know about? If there is no issue, these emails really shouldn't be sent out, they're incredibly misleading, and I've wasted a whole lot of time and experienced an incredible amount of anxiety for no reason.

    Hi.  I checked on the order and it says the order is currently being processed and I should check back tomorrow. I'm mostly just concerned because I got an email saying the order was on hold, and I want to make sure it actually does go through and I'm not just waiting for a delivery that's not going to come. I'm still confused as to why I'd get an email saying I had to call the fraud department only to be told I shouldn't have called the fraud department.

    I can personally ensure you get it if after waiting the 60 days you still haven't recieved it yet.
    You would also want to ensure:
    - You have the annual (yearly) Creative Cloud plan
    - You log into the Creative Cloud website from within 3 of the Adobe Touch Apps from the tablet using your Adobe ID associated with your membership
    If all this looks correct and you don't recieve an email after the 60 days, send me a private message and I'll ensure you get it.

    You can ask your email service provider for another email address. They often allow several per account. Or you can sign up for a free gmail, yahoo or other email address. Or you might use your spouse's email address.

    Ok now I have seen many questions like this on here before, but none of the answers or even the actual questions fit what my exact problem is.
    On my iPhone and iPad, I constantly keep getting these notifications about how my iCloud storage is almost full and there is not enough room to back up my iOS device. When this notification pops up, it has the options to 'Cancel' or go to 'Settings'. Clicking setting brings me to the iCloud tab in the Settings app. Now in this, I go to 'Storage and Backup'. It shows I own 5.0 GB of storage, and about 50 something MB available. So naturally, I click 'Manage Storage' to maybe delete some data being backed up from apps that I dont often use or that contain to much data that I dont want backed up. I go to the iPhone backup tab, and I have every single app turned off to backup, but yet, it says my next backup size is 5.0 GB. I do not understand how this is even possible.
    Also, under the iCloud tab that I clicked first, I have 'Mail', 'Contacts', 'Calendars', 'Safari', 'Notes', 'Photos', and 'Find My iPhone' all turned ON. 'Reminders', 'Passbook', and 'Documents & Data" are all OFF.
    I understand most of the problem is the Photos and videos on everyone's iPhones. I regularly upload all photos and videos to my iMac, and also delete that I dont need or are not important from my iPhone often. I currently have about 2 dozen pictures on my iPhone, and no videos.
    Maybe I am missing something, or forgot a step, but bottom line is I do not know exactly how to solve this problem. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You have indicated that you have turned off all of the Apps backup, but you have not indicated exactly what your Camera Roll, and other things that are being backed up are using.
    Can you tell us what the total of each item that is being backed up is?

    This indicates the spammer is entering your email address and probably a number of others in the Bcc: field when addressing the message.
    All email addresses placed in the Bcc: field do not appear and are invisible to all recipients. The only addresses that are visible to all recipients are those placed in the To: or Cc: fields.

    Do you see duplicates if you setup mail on your computer? This will help isolate the problem a bit, to find out if it's just with the iPad.

    because that's how the frame based animation function works, you don't just make a blank frame. If you want that then after you duplicated the frame just hide all the layers. Also, that didn't make a tween, tweening when you have two frames and want to add a couple of frames between them so that they start looking like the first frame and gradually change to look like the last frame.     Since the new iOS 8.0.1 update I found that when I log into find my iPhone i then get an email saying: Your Apple ID was used to sign into Find My iPhone. It then proceeds to tell me what device it was (my one at this time) and the date and time. I do not want this setting on. I have looked into it and can't find the option to switch it off. This gives a potential thief the notification that the device is being tracked which is certainly NOT a good idea. Please help!!!!

    What a stupid update! Let's just hope I or anyone else doesn't lose their devices! Hopefully Apple will sort this out and give us the option to turn this setting off!

    This may have to do with the server, what kind of email are you using, and is it a group email?
