Why do I get an Insufficient Data error?
Occasionally when I create a .pdf file and try to view it, Acrobat will for a split second display the file, the go blank with the message "Insufficient data for an image." Oddly enough, no other PDF viewer has an issue with the file, just Acrobat. Has anyone else come across this issue and possibly found a resolution? I am using Nuance PaperPort 14 to create the .pdf file.

I am getting an insufficient memory message on my illustrator program when I try to work on a particular document.
I remember long ago when I used to install my programs on my Mac there were memory settings for the graphics programs.
Does the pc work the same way? I am really at a loss as to why this error is coming up. In 5 years of working in Illustrator on the pc here, I have not gotten this message before now.
Now I get a new laptop and suddenly I get these errors. I am using Adobe Illustrator CS4 14.0.0 on a new Dell Inspiron 6400 running Windows XP with the latest service pack and patches.
Is there a memory setting in the application I should be looking at?
Steveyou didn't mention about the job size do u working on small scale and about how much ram you are using currently, mostly these type of errors occurs when you are mutitasking and working on big file sizes in illustrator

Why am I getting an app store error when trying to download Lion? Any ideas?
I would complain really bad and get them to give you a Flash card that they just came out with because they've inconvenienced you so much and you don't have hours to spend at the apple store waiting for the whole thing to load.
The only thing about the flash cards is that it will change your whole motherboard so it won't allow you to install snow leopard or anything less, ever again. (as what the apple specialist told me over the phone).
I would also suggest waiting. It really isn't worth the hastle and you may not benefit from installing it on your old computer... just a thought. -
Getting inappropriate "insufficient privileges" errors
I have a PL/SQL stored procedure which, if necessary, gets current values from a sequence, drops the sequence, and re-creates the sequence with the "start with" value higher than the max value of the column the sequence associated with.
Often, maybe 60% of the time, when I call the procedure, I get an "insufficient priviledges" error. The rest of the time it runs fine. If I run sqlplus as the same user (the DBA user which created the stored procedure and the sequence being recreated) and run the same commands manually, I never receive this error.
I am running Oracle 8.1.5 on a Linux RH 6.0+ server.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

nullHi there, this is what had to do.
First a bit background. I got the same errors. Insufficient privies for this and that. Logged in as Admin, same problem. Gave my user account Admin rights, still same problem.. now it actually said only 'Creator/Users' can install etc.
So long story short deleting, rebooting, magic... all failed.
1. I uninstalled all Apple software!!
2. yes all of it. Uninstall programs. Uninstalled Apple stuff, then Bonjour then Quick time.
3. tried to delete folders that were left behind, got smacked with insufficient rights to do so.
4. Logged in as Admin (that will teach ya Win 7)
5. Used Unlocker and LockHunter. I was able to unlock/kill process of some files and was able to delete some folders, but not all (grrrr)
6. disabled AntiVirus/Spyware program
7. that allowed me to delete all folders (wth? .. okay then)
8. went into registry and Searched for 'Apple'
9. fainted when I saw hundreds of Apple entries.
10. deleted all obvious 'Apple', 'MobileMe' and 'Quicktime entries', take care not to delete 'Applet...' stuff. Not the same. Like I said I only got rid of obvious Apple software stuff.
11. finally I ran CCleaner (great app, get it and donate a couple of $$) and had it scan, back up and clean my registry.
12 rebooted and logged in as me/user
13 checked /program files to make sure bonjour, apple and quicktime was really gone
14. downloaded latets itunes
15. installed itunes, did my back ups and updated ipod software
man that only took me a couple of hours -

Why do I get "The form data has expired." every time with Flash formatted CFFORM moved to CF 9.1?
We are moving a ColdFusion site from CF8 to CF9.1 and have discovered that any CFForm that was uses Flash as it's format keeps giving us the "The form data has expired." error almost every time we visit the page containing the form. We have fiddled with the timeout settings and even tried to add the various "cfheader" workarounds that some people have mentioned when getting this error, but to no avail. To be clear this works perfectly on CF8 *and* it works on our CF 9.1 QA server, but for some reason fails on the Live Server. Supposedly the Live server completely matches the QA server, but the behavior is sure different in this instance.
What could be the issues? What Apache or CF settings might I look into? Could there be some weird permissions error on the generated swf form file or some other obscure reason? I am totally in the dark and can't figure out why ColdFusion keeps thinking the form data has expired.
Please, any ideas would be welcome.

I suspect your suspecion about permissions is the closest to the answer. But this is a little out of my depth of expertise.
Realize that ColdFusion default behavior is to NOT generate and actual swf FILE. Rather what it does is generate the swf content in memory and directly deliver it to the client. But if the web server is configured to look for an actual file system file you may have a clash going on -
Acrobat Reader XI jpeg 2000 insufficient data error
Good morning,
We've been generating pdf reports with a third party control for about 4 years now. With the release of Reader 10.1.4 (IIRC) our clients started having problems reading the pdfs and we confirmed the behavior. Initially, it seemed that version 11 of the reader fixed this issue, but once again our clients are still having problems. They are getting the same insufficient data for image error that was endemic with the older version of the reader. I've been able to open our reports without problems in other pdf readers, just not Acrobat Reader. We haven't changed our image compression or report generation controls or code, so I'm wondering if the problem, whatever it is, still exists in this new version.
I cannot post one of these reports on a public forum, but I could send it along, most likely with an NDA, to a responsible party at Adobe for investigation.

I can say that previous issues were resolved by working around invalid PDF/JPEG2000 constructs found in documents produced by certain PDF production tools. Updating those tools will also correct the problem. -
Why do i get a JBO-26080 Error

My problem:
I would appreciate it if someone out there could tell me why i'm getting the following error:

Some Background Information:
I am still fairly new to JDev and I've developed a JSP site using the BC4J set of tools. The whole site runs fine, except for the above error. My biggest problem is that the page does not give this error every time I call it.
The page itself has a refresh button, a couple of drop-down lists and a few checkboxes on it. The form tag calls a JSP page that simply processes the pages parameters (storing the parameter settings in custom properties I created in the application object), calls a Stored Procedure to populate a table for reporting and then calls <jsp:forward> to call the original page which diplays the populated table.
Generally I can call hit the refresh button twice and on the third time it brings up the above error message. If i use the browsers back button to go to the previous selections and then use the browsers forward button, the page is refreshed fine with the correct selections, but every refresh after that will result in the jbo error message.See the last comment in my "Dive Into BC4J" weblog on this day:

What's even stranger is that I took the SELECT statement

Here's the query by itself run in another database using the @pinp.world link and querying the dba_dependencies table in the pinp.world database. As you can see the query using this link works just fine returning the requested rows. I can't figure out why the compiler is having an issue with essentially this same query when I try to compile it in a cursor in TOAD. Also this is the database (dev1.world) that I'm trying to compile this Procedure in.
By the way I'm in an Oracle 9.2.0.6 database and TOAD v9.2.

I have a small LabVIEW program which writes random numbers very fast into a ASCII-file. I want that file to be copied to a new position every 10 min. Therefor I use a backup/synchronisation software which is doing a copy operation every 10 min. It works fine a certian amount of time and after a while I get either an LabVIEW error (LabVIEW: Fiel already open: NI-488 Comand requieres GPIB Controller to be System controller) or an backup-software error (couldn´t open file...whatever). I´m guessing, it has something to do with file-access but I don´t know why?!? If I run the LabVIEW program and I copy and paste the random-number-file with the windows explorer very fast (pressing ctrl+v rapidly) while LabVIEW is still writing into this file, no error appears. Can sombody help me?

you don't get a GPIB error, the error number has just 2 different explanations...
Well, you have two programs accessing the same file. One program just wants to make a copy, the other (LabView) is trying to write to the file. When copying a file that is written to you get inconsistent results! That's why one of both programs is complaining an error...
You can't have write and read access at the same time! (But you can have more than one read access at the same time...)

you don't get a GPIB error, the error number has just 2 different explanations...
