I deleted the account on my ASUS email at settings. The ASUS appeared to delete the Yahoo email account, but when I clicked on the shortcut, my yahoo email had updated and everything looks good.

I recently purchased a refurbished iPad 1 (iOS 5.0) from the Apple Store. I've downloaded one free app from the App Store. But today when I returned to the App Store, the following message displayed: Cannot connect to iTunes store.
I have an Apple ID which I can see via Settings. The software is up-to-date (checked software update). I can access the App Store via my iPod Touch.

Tap Settings > Store
Make sure Apps is switched on under Automatic Downloads.
If you download an app on one device it should automatically sync to the other providing they are both running iOS 5. -

I have tried numerous times to connect to ITunes Store to update my current apps and continue to get this message. Apple has determined that it is not a device problem or an Apple problem. It has to do with ITunes. Can anyone help?I am having no problems downloading from the app store today. I just tried it again. However, I read some of those other discussions as well and there have been times when the iTunes or App Store has been out of commission. Don't hold your breath waiting for Apple to acknowledge it because that is not going to happen. That is not how they operate.

Out of curiosity, some here have recommended renaming an EXE file behind the scenes to eliminate that firewall message when starting up. Are you one of those folks that tried this? My thought is that if so, perhaps this is a result?

Try to go to Settings and then Store. Tap to your Apple ID and select View Apple ID. Now choose to check your payment information and when you're done tap Done. I had to rewrite my three digit code of the credit card and now it works.
Oh, I also activated Genius for Apps but I don't think it makes any difference. -

These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? (For example, 8007000B.) -
After upgrading to version 11.0.4.4 I get a "Itunes has stopped working" message when I try to start a movie on my PC. I have updated Quick time and previous version of Itunes worked great.
One thing is for sure, and that is if the only page i visit is the Google homepage (not logged in) or this site (mozilla forum), the problem does not occur, ever. I can't make it happen.
If i visit yahoo.com (not logged in) (or ighome.com, logged in), as examples, it happens every time. -
I have a Macbook Pro. I just purchased Acrobat Pro DC and keep getting an error message when I try to download, saying I need to contact support. I've eliminated previous versions of the application because they were US-based versions and I'm now living in Australia. Thanks - I did go through and change all the profiles to Apple RGB, there are several to choose - but I'm still having problems - I think it has to do with corrupt images - Im backing up and starting over - I've worked with images large and small for years and never had this problem - thanks

Keep getting a "loading/waiting" message when I try to download/update anything. Sometimes something will download. I have signed out and turned the thing off and back on, signed in and no help. I have did the sleep button and home button thing, no help. I have talked to iPad support and so far, no help. Any ideas out there?
If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.
