Why do I get "missing plug-in" when I try to play apple video tutorial?

I tried to watch a Video Tutorial from Apple's website, Support, but when I click on the video, it says "missing plug-in". Then I click on the line that says "when trouble viewing videos, click here" (right next to the Q for Quicktime) and i get a message that says "Quicktime is already part of your Mac". I checked to make sure I have the latest update of Quicktime, and I do.
Other plug-in "help tips" say that I should "get a plug in" but don't say WHERE to get it, or WHICH ONE to get.
Other articles say to "check the website to see which plug-in you need", but don't tell you how or where to check on the website??

If you can't install or update Flash, follow these instructions.

from the Safari menu bar and check the box marked
          Allow (or Enable) plug-ins

if present and make sure that the website is not blocked for Flash.

I am sorting out my albums and was putting all my videos on on cd, There are about 10 that won't play or get transferred to the cd, Our they just blanks or are there anything on them? Yep. I installed Lion this morning. Open Mail. All is good. Went to video on the Apple's homepage and my whole computer froze up. I couldn't even shut down the computer properly. I just had to shut it off and restart. :|

Open Contacts -> select the contact -> select edit -> scroll all the way to the bottom and delete contact (delete multiple entries of the same phone number, my wife had five).
Open the Messages app -> select Edit -> select the red circle and then select delete. Do this for both the person and the messages you received.
Open the Settings app -> scroll down and select Messages -> turn off messages, by selecting the switch, and any other options turned on.
Turn off your phone and then turn it back on.
Go straight to messages and compose a new message and put in the phone number of the person you're trying to text. Send and that person should receive the text message. Add the person to your contacts and go back into message settings to turn on any other options you want on that you turned off.

Did you copy the songs directly from a CD or did you download the files from a website?
You can use a different player than the Windows Media Player to play the songs if you copied them from a CD to avoid that.
