Because your operating system is too old. iCloud was introduced in Mac OS X 10.7.4 and later. You can upgrade through the Mac App Store. The latest version is Mac OS X 10.9.3 and is free if your Mac is capable of running it (late 2007 IMac's and newer).

MobileMe was shut down forever a few years ago, that's why it doesn't work any more.

What iOS version are you running? There have been cases where people have been complaining of their iPhone 3G/3GS overheating. If you have a white version of the 3GS, watch out because this can cause discoloration.

Why is my iMac 21.5 monitor quitting and not responding?

I have an imac 21.5 2010 model and the monitor will go to sleep once the computer has been sitting inactive, but when I click the mouse or touch the keyboard it will not wake back up. I can hear the computer running, but I have to actually hold the power button down and force shut the computer off and reboot it again.
I was told to try resetting the SMC by actually unplugging the computer...which I did and it did seem to improve for about a week, but now it's happening again and doesn't seem to make a difference if I unplug the computer now or not.
It even happens if all of the applications have been closed, so nothing is really running in the background.
Anyone else have this problem, and know how to resolve it?

It has all settings selected except for startup auto after power failure and restart auto after freezing

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support

C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

I have Aperture3 and iPhoto. When I try send video clips as attachments, I get a message saying Quicktime can't open the .avi - why? Others couldn't open them so I sent them to myself and get the same message. Doesn't seem to be a size issue as I've tried with really short clips (4 seconds). As I recall, I didn't have this problem before buying Aperture last fall, when I only had iPhoto. It appears that by default, an attachment to an email automatically comes from my iPhoto files and not Aperture - assume that is supposed to happen but not sure. Thanks for any and all help!

How are you tryin to send the .AVI file? Are you sending the attachment directly from Mail or from Aperture or iPhoto?

If you have a bluetooth device connected to the phone, it is allowing you to select the audio device you want to use to handle the call with. There should be a checkmark by the device it is going to use, and you can change that if you like.
