Why do I get "No service" when I try to make a call or send a text message?

Ever time I want to send a text message this little loading bar at the top stops at ~80% and after a few seconds I loose signal and it says "No service".
Aslo when I try to make a call I don't hear a thing and then I get "No service". This is messed up and I have called my carrier and they told me to contact apple becquse they should fix it.

It could definately be a hardware problem if your brother's sim had the same issue. A way to isolate a hardware issue would be to back up your phone and set it up as a new device (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137) Give it a test with no information on the phone. If it still doesn't work, it's a hardware issue. Where you have a 4s, you're definetly still covered in your limited hardware warranty (if you don't have the apple care) You could then make an appointment at the apple store (http://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/) Or call 1800 MY IPHONE to set up a mail in replacement. Why do I get unknown error when I try to add to my iCloud storage

Why do I get unknown error when I try and add storage to iCloud account ? I have funds in account but I do not have a credit card # on file.

This didn't solve it for me. Card details already there, and iTunes purchases working fine.
But just to be sure I' have re-entered and resaved my card info and checked, re-entered and re-checked my appleID info.
Still not working.
Anyone got any other suggestions?

I just downloaded the newest IOS software and now my iPhone5 won't pair with the Bluetooth in my car (the car system says it's paired when I try to re-pair it but then when n try to make a call it tells me it doesn't recognize the phone.

I just downloaded the IOS upgrade, 7.0.2, and now my iPhone 5 won't pair with my Bluetooth in my car, despite repeated attempts to re-pair the two and despite the fact it's been paired fine previously. The car system tells me it's paired but then when I try to make a call I get another message that says there is no paired phone.

You can't override it no matter what you do. The device has to connect to the server to complete the iOS update. You could try rebooting the iPad and see if that lets you connect to the server after it starts up.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that will not work, you can try connecting to iTunes on your computer and see if the activation will complete. Sometimes when thes activation issues arise, you end up having to restore the device again, but first things first. Reboot and see what happens.

This is a common problem with iPhone 4s (and IOS 5) There isn't ' anything you can do about it, so you're best bet is to go down to the store and get an exchange. If you have an older iPhone (3gs/4) roll back your update from IOS 5 to IOS 4.

Nokia 5800 XM dies when i try to make a call

I just got this problem, i tried to make a factory reset.. formated memory card, removed it... made factory restart again... notting helps... my nokia just dies when i try to make a call or even when i try to recive it... Does anyonehave any solution to this? It's really anoying thing...

Hmm, odd. It actually seems a hardware issue to me. Anyhow, you can try calling when there is no memory card inserted, to see if its an issue with corrupted system files on the card.
If that doesnt work, do a hard reset:
A hard reset (x6, 5800 and 5230 only) is done by the following (warning, this deletes all data on your phone):
1.) Turn off the phone and remove battery for 5min
2.) Reinsert battery
3.) Press and hold the green, red and camera buttons. DO NOT LET GO.
4.) While holding the three buttons, press the power key to boot the phone up.
5.) Keep on pressing until you see the country selection screen.
A correctly done hard reset would show you that everything on the phone (contacts, messages, calendar entries, etc) would be deleted. So it is advisable to back them up. Upon restoration, do not restore settings or files if possible.
If that still doesnt work, you'll have to take the phone to a Nokia Care Center.

My contacts keeps closing when i try to make a call

When I try to add new phone numbers and contacts it blinks closed. I cant view contact details because it closes on me.

Have you chacked with your carrier. The message you are getting seems to relate to a carrier issue and not something to do with the phone itself

I use a laptop, running Windows7, with Mozilla and Safari as my main browsers. I've noticed that 75% of the time,(when I'm on Firefox) and I am on Facebook, when I try to play my games I get INVALID URL. If it happens on Mozilla it also happens on Safari (I've checked). Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Why wont my screen light up when I try to switch a call

My phone will not light up during a call when I need to uuse the keyboard or pick up a waiting call.....I also cannot disconnect from a call and cannopt get screen to light up by pushing either button!! BERY annoying when trying to make a call that uses an automated system and I cannot see the screen!!!! Phone has been in an otterbox since new and never dropped or damaged!! Ive had this issus for probably six months and it just keep sgetting worse!! Also have avery poor reception in many places that all other iphone users in my house have no problem at all!!! HELP!!

Sounds like you may have a hardware problem, like the proximity sensors failing (they turn off the screen when you put the phone to your ear to prevent accidentally tapping any of the icons). You could try resetting it to see if that helps: hold the on/off and home buttons simultaneously for 10-15 seconds until you see the Apple logo (ignoring the red off slider that appears first), release and wait for the phone to restart. If the problem persists take it to the Apple store for evaluation.
