Why do I get unwanted ads in a new tab

I keep getting ads popping up in a new tab I have run AVG anti virus and have found no issues no malware or soy detected

No single anti-virus/anti-spyware application will find everything. You need to do a thorough malware scan of your system using the following suggested programs.
