Why do I have multiple "recent tags" in my bookmarks?
With Firefox 6.0 on Linux I see this recent tags in my bookmarks pull down. It appears now 9 times and increasing ..
The Calendar app pulls birthdays from the Contacts app.
If you also have another Birthday calendar with the same birthdays, they will show up twice.

It is probably related to your calendar syncing with certain services and/or apps that end up duplicating the entries. Investigate your sync settings like iCloud, facebook, etc or apps like Cobook which can sync your contacts/to facebook and gmail contacts. The birthdays for all of those would then show up in ical. If there is some kind of redundancy happening it might even resync the same info from the same place multiple times. If you can zero in on a particular service or app that might be the cause, try temporarily unsyncing it to ical/address book and see what happens.

I have multiple ID Tags on My Page, How To Correct And Change To CLASS ID's
Hello Dreamweaver Word:
I still have problems.
On my website wwww.theexecutivevip.com
My MENU BAR has moved down to the bottom of the page.
On the various product pages [problem is seen in Internet Explorer Browser]
I have multiple "main content" ID tags and the other ID tags that are within them.
When I made the page, I did not make multiple ID tags, but instead I made the page into a template
that had "Repeatable Regions" and as I repeated these regions within a page, the ID's were repeated as well.
So now I have multiple ID's going down my page. How do I correct them and replace them with CLASS ID's.
I of course need to do this change on the template so it can CORRECTLY update all the pages that I built off of it.
Will I need to change each product page manually, since they are all "editable regions" or can I just change the template. The "main content" is not an editable region, but all the product/image ID's are.
Please advise on how I can correct the multiple ID tags to the proper tag types without ruining my work. I tried and it made a mess so I just didn't save it.

Everything looks GREAT in Firefox, except the only product page that is all jambled is www.theexecutivevip.com/winebarsets.html.
I don't know where all those spaces come from. I'll copy the code below.
In Internet Explorer, my submenu doesn't work on the pages. It is also still going down the page on Internet Explorer.

Why do i have multiple iPhoto libraries
I am trying to migrate my iphoto library to a new location but i have 3 libraries to choose from. why were the others created? one library is 90gb, the other 2 are 22 gb
Should i just delete the other 2?No way for anyone but you to know - you have multiple iPhoto libraries because you have created them - only you know when and why
And only you know if they are ok to trash - depress teh option key, launch iPhoto and use the select library window to open and check each one and then desiece if you want to keep it or delete it

Why do I have multiple entries on my calender
Why is that I have multiple entries on my calender of the same appointment or holiday since I started using I cloud. How do I clean up my calender and not have future duplication on my devices.
I am using the I pad 2 and Iphone 4S
ThanksClick the calendars button in the top left corner of calendar, look to see if you have groups of calendars other than iCloud. I only have iCloud calendars on my phone so can't show you what I mean, but I have other groups on my iCal application on my mac which is sort of similar.

Why do I have multiple copies of Pages
I should say that this is not specifically related to Pages, I have multiple copies of all the iWorks apps on my computer but because I could not find a general iWorks forum I decided just to post about Pages with the asumption that it would be the same for the other iWorks apps.
I have the pre-update iWork 09 version 4.5 that was installed from Disk when i first bought my Mac. I have since upgraded my Mac to Mavericks and upgraded pages (and iWorks) to the new iCloud versions 5.2
When I go into my Applications folder, I see a subfolder in there called iWork 09, and in that folder is the old 4.5 versions, but I also see the new versions of the apps as seperate apps in my Applications folder.

Basically all I want to know is if I App Delete the old iWorks 09 versions, will it affect my access to the updated versions, because it seems to me like I have two sets of iWorks apps (one old and one new) and of course I only need the new oneiWork 09's Pages is version 4.3. Yes you have to versions. They hare 2 different applications with the samme name. I wouldn't delete iWork 09 as it has about 100 more features than Pages has. But if you have it on a disk you can as you always have to possbility to install it again from the disk.

Why do I have multiple copies of the same song?
When I open my iTunes on my iPad I have multiple copies of the same song. It seems that when I connect and sync to my computer that it does not recognize that the song is already on my iPad, so it sends another copy. When I try to delete the second copy from my iPad by swiping to the left and hitting delete, it doesn't delete and I see the cloud icon like it wants to down load if from the cloud automatically again. How can I clean this mess up?

It sounds like your Music application is showing your previously purchases music, with the cloud icon, on your iPad as well as what is synced onto it. Please follow the instructions in the following article to turn off Show All Music.

Just show music that’s been downloaded from iCloud. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music.

Why do I have to keep refreshing the Yahoo bookmarks with my homepage in Yahoo
Every time I open Firefox I have to refresh the Yahoo toolbar bookmarks,sometimes several times before I can use my bookmarks.This was happening with the previous version as
well as 4.0.1I HAVE RESOLVED THIS!! The problem was that I was signed in to iCloud on my iphone with an old Apple ID and using a different Apple ID on my pc. I signed out of iCloud on my phone, then re-signed in with the same id as the iCloud on my pc. Presto chango. All is well.

When importing my address book from Outlook why do I have multiple entries for the same contact?
I have an address book and it contains one list in Outlook. I just downloaded Thunderbird and imported my address book. The address book and one list imported very easily but there are anywhere from 3-5 entries for each person in my contacts. If I delete the extras they are removed from my list as well. Why are there multiple listings for each contact and how can I remove the duplicates without losing my list entries?
as I was looking thru pictures in my finder I noticed there were several copies of the same pictures I had taken yesterday. I just went thru all Seven copies of the pictures (accidental pics of my hands and the desk etc) and right clicked and moved them to trash, then I thought I'd look it up when I realized its not just these pics, but very many had een stored in groups of three or four.

Depends on where you saw them - If they were in the iPhoto library iPHoto has either two or three different versions (no duplicates) or each photos in its library - this is not optional and can not be changed -- If they were not in the iPhoto library then you can do what you please with them and they have nothing to do with iPhoto - iPhoto is only involved with the photos in its library
2. Why is it advised to NEVER make changes to the structure or contents of iPhoto in Finder?

Very simple - if you do you will destroy your iPhoto library and have to start over losing all work you have done in iPhoto - The iPHoto library is a SQLite database and there are NO user servicable parts in the iPhoto library and any changes made using teh finder will corrupt the database and cause dataloss

I just went thru all Seven copies of the pictures (accidental pics of my hands and the desk etc) and right clicked and moved them to trash,
You destroyed your iPhoto library and will either have to restore your backup from before you did this. put everything back EXACTLY like it was before or start over

I have 2 of each of these files: iTunes preferences, iTunes library extras, iTunes library genius, iTunes library, iTunes Music library, sentinel and I have 2 folders that are named album artwork. I tried to delete one of each but then everything got deleted from itunes but good thing that I had the files so I got everything back. Why is it that I have more than one of these files and where should these files be located in? because I have the files in different places in the music library. Please help me...I really do not want to mess things up so I'm afraid to even touch these files.
I'm not aware of a way to run multiple instances or different versions of photoshop at the same time on windows.
Assuming of course they are all installed on the same operating system.
On mac versions you can running two different versions of photoshop at the same time, but i don't think that's possible on windows where it
appears that only one version of photoshop can run at a time. -
Why do I have multiple birthdays showing in iCal on my iPad using iOS 6?
For some reason some of my birthdays are showing up as duplicates in my iCal on my iPad. I have my calendars sync'd with Google Calendars and one of those calendars is my birthday callendar that I have setup in Google Canlendars. Only some of the birthdays show up duplicated and others do not. I can't seem to find any rhym or reason to why some are and some are not. Anybody having the same problem or have a solution?
The Calendar app pulls birthdays from the Contacts app.
If you also have another Birthday calendar with the same birthdays, they will show up twice. -
Why Do I Have Multiple Versions of Adobe Flash Plugins in FireFox
Hello,
I usually have 2 versions of Adobe Flash plugins installed in Firefox at the same time: the most recent version and the prior version which remains behind after an update. I usually disable the older version but sometimes this also affect the updated version leaving me without Flash capability in FireFox.
This week I updated FireFox's Adobe Flash plugin to 12.0.0.43 but was surprised to discover the 2 prior Flash versions also remained. Now Firefox had 3 versions of Adobe Flash plugins. I discovered the Adobe Flash uninstaller and uninstalled all Flash from my computer. Surprisingly when I reinstalled Flash player in FireFox, again 2 versions were installed: 12 and 11. I attempted to use the uninstaller on FireFox alone but it did not recognize the older Flash plugin, only the updated version 12.
The recent Adobe Flash update, version 12, is a 'Critical Security' update. Therefore, I am a bit anxious to resolve this issue. I hope you can assist me with this issue.

FireFox 26'''bold text'''I might have thought the uninstaller would have found and deleted the old FlashPlayer. Maybe it was a custom install and in an odd location. (I suppose another possibility is that registry entries are wrong).
Try totally uninstalling FlashPlayer using the Windows Control panel, before re-installing. Then check with the FlashPlayer uninstaller before reinstalling again.
Note whilst doing this that Windows Internet Explorer has its own FlashPlayer plugin that is separate. You will need to reinstall both the Fx fox & IE plugins afterwards. Also note that for 32bit Firefox you will need the 32 bit FlashPlayer. -

Why do I have multiple archives in mailbox
Having upgraded to mountain lion I now have four "on my mac" folders in the archive folder.
If I try to open any of the top three ones the bottom one always opens.Same problem. Here's what it looks like.
I did a manual transfer of the mail files from my Lion Partition to my Mountain Lion Partition.
To do so I placed
folder Mail in User / Library /
file com.apple.mail.plist in User / Library / Preferences
before starting up Mail.
On startup of Mail I got the Mail Upgrade Dialogue :
After my existing Mail messages were upgraded through a series of progress bars I had the multiple "On My Macs" in the new "Archive" box.
The bottom Archive Box is the controlled one. Click on any of the expand triangles and it (alone) expands in the sidebar.
Also:
Expand the "On My Mac" mailbox,
Collapse the "Archive" box,
Expand the "Archive" box
... and all "On My Macs" mailboxes are expanded.
