Why do i have surf canyon when it does not show up in my firefox extensions or windows programs

I have the extension surf canyon. I did not instal it. It is not in my firefox extensions or in my windows programs. It interferes with my browsing and slows down my pc. how do I get rid of it?

Emma, welcome to the forum.
You can go into Control Panel / Programs and Features / Turn Windows features on or off (In the left column). Uncheck Internet Explorer 11 and click OK. This will uninstall it. You can uninstall of install all of Windows features from there.

I have an itunes TV show which does not show up on my Macbook. Other TV programs do, and 3 new TV programs which I just downloaded also transferred. What do I look for?

I have the BBC series Sherlock Season 1 which I downloaded to my iMac. The first 2 episodes show up on my Macbook, but the third does not. As long as I turn off my Macbook, the 3rd episode will show up and play on my Apple TV. I just downloaded Season 2 to my iMac, and all 3 episodes of that season did transfer to my Macbook. But I cannot get Season 1, episode 3 to transfer. My music and photos work fine. Any ideas? My iMac is running version 10.6.8, and the Macbook is on 10.7.4, and both are on 10.6.3 of iTunes.

Start here (change country if necessary) and navigate to 'Password and Security', reset your security questions using the link provided, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
If that doesn't help, you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support.

My iphone 4s will not snyc on my mac at home; I'm running 10.4.11 and do not have the intel processor; on my work computer my iphone is recognized as a device in itunes, but my music library can only be located on my older mac at home.

The iPhone REQUIRES OS X 10.5.8 or higher. This is clearly stated in the documentation and on the web site. There is no magic that will make it work with 10.4.x.

Why does Youtube shows up tiny in Firefox browser on Windows 7?

Just out of nowhere YouTube went crazy in Firefox on Windows 7. It has been fine, then we went to view YouTube and instead of it showing like a normal website and like YT has always done, it shows up tiny, taking up just the middle of the screen and you can barely read anything. What caused this, and how can it be fixed? All other sites show up fine, and YT works in all other browsers. Thanks!

I am trying to export music to my ipod-which I have done previously-My ipod does not show up on itunes. The "device " heading is not there either.
I have recently added Norton to my computer.
I tried a different computer and that computer is not reading ipod in devices and printers either.

In the iBooks application on the Mac, there is a checkbox to sync highlights and notes across devices.
I don't see a similar setting in the iBooks app on my iPad. It may require iBooks on the Mac as a mediator.

SADLY not as i downloaded an upgrad to my original PAGES/
i have in the meantim had to open www.icloud. then from there import the file that i am working on and then check on ipad if it uploaded/ yes it did.
but what a waste of time as it doesn not save any changes done automatically back in the cloud....
i am now downloading the new LION and hope that it will fix the problem
i cant find any other way. I was lead to believe that you wrote, it saved automatically, on to the cloud, you then opened anohter device in anotother country even, and the new file was there, waiting, in its latest version.......
and the same magic was supposed to happen in reverse.

if i have to open a browser, go to www.icloud....why on earth did they not just leave us an icon to drop it in in that case?

I have the same problem with my device specially with the NFL App and after maybe 2hrs of research I found out that Verizon has implemented that messege/restriction to keep the app "TRUE" mobile only. What I'm saying is that you won't get the NFL App to play no matter what you do if connected to HDMI adapter or AirPlay. I hope this helps more than the other/previous post. Voicemail is left at your carrier's server. That will continue to work unless you report your iPhone as lost or stolen with your carrier.
You may never find it again and you can't if the iPhone remains offline or out of service which means the iPhone is powered off or doesn't have cellular reception.

Most likely you have set the wrong file as the external editor. You don't want the obvious one; that's just a link to the welcome screen. Go back and choose this one, which is hidden away inside the folder Support Files:

I have the new macbook pro from late 2011. when i try plugging my cannon gl2 into the mac via firewire 800 it does not show up in iMovie as an option to import from. i even have gone into my settings on the camera and changed it to vcr.

I would say that odds are high that you have a bad cable. Maybe that is why they returned it.
I would suggest trying a different firewire cable.
You can find Firewire cables inexpensively at monoprice.com. You need a 4 pin to 9 pin firewire cable.

Other things to check:
Is your camera plugged in to wall power (not to batteries only). Must be hooked to an AC power source to import.
