Why do I have to buy Acrobat when it's always been available on the Creative Cloud?
I'm a subscriber of the Creative Cloud and have been for quite a while
Why do I now have to buy Acrobat when it's always been available as one of the CC apps?
And why did the "trial" version of Acrobat DC wipe out my personal Acrobat Pro XI?

So basically it said that I don't have a program to open it? I already had a trial version on my mac, but deleted it..YasmineH your web browser is blocking the installation of the AAM Detect plug-in. I would recommend using a different web browser or installing through the Creative Cloud Desktop application. when i try to download most of the creative cloud apps, it comes up with an error -2147024546. What does this mean?
Nfunchio13 that is fairly unique error. Unexpected errors like this are typically the result of the firewall settings or security software interfering with the Adobe Creative applications from being downloaded.

I have just migrated from my 2009 IMac to a new 5K, the creative cloud app somehow is corrupted, I have un-installed the old app. Downloaded the creative cloud app again & re-installed but I just get a blank window & no apps showing or even a login screen

There are only users here who have no idea the answer to your question whith so little information. What year did you buy your Mac and your daughter's Mac. What MacBook model's are they both? From whom did you buy them, directly from Apple or a 3rd party vender? The more details the better to offer ideas. -
Why does Adobe Manager crash when I create to download programs from the creative cloud?
I just signed on to Adobe Creative Cloud and trying to download apps to my desktop and Adobe Manager crashed everytime. I am running on OSX 10.9.4. Any suggestions?
I would click the download button from the apps page. The Adobe Apps Manager would launch then crash. I didn't know what else to do, so I noticed I didn't have the latest Adobe App Manager.
After I updated my AAM, the download worked fine. Thanks you for looking into it. -
I have configured Forte to put compiler output, i.e. my classes, in the root directory of the project. I now find that the debugger does not find the source code when it is in a sub-directory. However, if I temporarily copy a classes' source code to the root directory the debugger will display it.
To direct compiler output to the root directory I selected Project >Settings>Compiler types, then External Compiler ( which is the default compiler in my case ) and set Target to be the root project directory. This is the only directory it will allow.This Forum is for Forte 4GL or UDS as its called today. I am not sure if anybody is going to be able to answer your question here. Sorry.

When I first downloaded Lightroom 5 from the Creative Cloud lens profiles were working OK
Now it does not seem to recognize my camera - Canon 50D and lens - various Canon EF and EFS - All were recognized previouslyI don't use these features, since I don't have such a cam, but could it be that you may need to input settings for filmback and distance of the lens mount somewhere? If the program operated based on wrong assumprions, the best profile in the world would be wrong...

I'm paying monthly for Creative Cloud (student pack). It worked well, but when I switched my computer and redownloaded the creative cloud with its apps, it told me I was on trial and that I had to pay for the full version. The strange thing was that I was still paying at that time. I did log in properly when I downlaoded Cloud. I don't know what is wrong here. Please help, or I'll be losing my money in a flash.

Heyyo6789 depending upon the Adobe Creative software title installed the update mechanism in the menu bar may still be needed.

I would recommend referencing Creative Cloud Help | Creative Cloud app for desktop | Release Notes which is updated with features which have been added to the Creative Cloud Desktop application. -
why do we have to buy mountain lion when we bought lion? Others who didn't purchase lion don't have to pay for it to move to mountain lion.
As far as I know the only people not having to pay for Mountain Lion are the ones that have purchased a apple computer after the 4th of june or something. These people get a free upgrade. All others will have to pay for a copy of Mountian Lion.
Do you maybe have a source, which states that others don't have to pay for it, where people that have bought Lion do have to pay?
