Howdy leony20,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you’re running into a Mail configuration issue that is requiring you to enter a password every time you check your email. The basic troubleshooting steps, which I’ve quoted from the article below, will resolve most Mail issues like the one you've described.
iOS: Troubleshooting Mail
First, try these basic troubleshooting steps:
Tap Safari and load a webpage. If you can load a webpage, then your device has Internet access. If you can't load a webpage, check your Wi-Fi connection or try a different Internet connection:
Try a different Wi-Fi connection.
If your iOS device has an active cellular data plan, tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn off Wi-Fi.
If the affected email account is provided by your Internet provider, see if your issue is resolved while connected to your home Wi-Fi network.*
Log in to your email provider's website to make sure that the account is active and the password is correct.
Make sure your settings are correct using Mail Settings Lookup.
Restart your iOS device.
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Tap the affected email account.
Tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.
If this doesn’t help, just reply and let me know what you’re seeing.

  • Why do we have to change passwords every time we do something on the iPad?

WHy do we have to reset passwords every time we do something on iPad?

You shouldn't have to. It sounds like you may have content on the device associated with more than one apple id. If that's the case then, you may be entering a password for one account when you should be entering another.
I would suggest using only one apple id username on the device and delete any content associated with another.

  • May i ask why all linksys have the same password.

May i ask why all linksys have the same password. i just edit my password. some one did hack in to my router. next time you make a router. give password out that not the same. some just hack in to my. it fix now. i lost net for 3hr.

You have to understand that linksys produces an amazing amount of routers.  They frequently come out with new models and revisions.  It would be a very confusing process for each model/version to have a different username and password.
Using a shared default username and password makes the life of computer techs easier because we know what it will be, assuming the user hasn't changed the defaults.
It's absolutely your responsibility to change your default password when you setup your router.  Just as it's essential to setup security on your wireless router when you install it.  If you're router is being hacked from the outside I would greatly recommend setting up WPA encryption on your router to help stop this in the future.

  • 4S - wi-fi will not retain password in memory, I have to input password each time I unlock the phone.

I have done a "reset" and it didn't help. If I watch the wi-fi screen in "settings" .. I can see that I get the "working icon" every few seconds although it remains connected.  Also, I have lost all the other wi-fi location passwords and have to re-input each time I visit the location.
worked just fine until last week.  any thoughts?  thanks. charlie

Thank you! seems to have solved the problem ... now I have to add back all the other PW's for other wi-fi networks I use during the course of the day..
When I'm on the page Settings>Wi-Fi ,when I'm already connected  every 20-30 seconds I see the "busy" icon show up and quickly go away .. never noticed it before.. but it could be just the way it works .. does yours work the same way??
again, many thanks for the help.

  • Why do I have to enter passwords when they are synced in keychain

I have Keychain turned on on my iPad 3.  Up until this summer when there was an update to IOS 7, they appeared automatically when I went to a web site where one was stored in Keychain.  Suddenly, I had to start to type in the first letter and then the keyboard would appear with a small line above it for autofill.  If I move from one page of the NYTimes to another, I have to re-sign-in - a total nuisance.
I updated to IOS 8 hoping that this issue would be fixed.  Nope!  Updated to IOS 8.1 - still the same.  Yet on my old iPhone 5 and on my new iPhone 6, the web sites pop right up with me already signed in.  Huh?  What's going on here?
Is this unique to the iPad or is some setting wrong?

    Hi, Thatchcote.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
This sounds like you may have Private Browsing enabled.  The article below will show you how to disable this feature.
Safari isn't automatically filling in account names and passwords on some websites.
    iOS 7.1.1 or later:
Go to Settings > Safari > Passwords & AutoFill and make sure that Names and Passwords is on.
Go to your Home screen and open Safari. If Safari is black or dark instead of white or gray, Private Browsing is on. Safari doesn't save account names and passwords when Private Browsing is on. To turn off Private Browsing:
On iPad, tap the the plus icon in the upper-right corner of the Safari page, then tap Private in the lower-left corner.
On iPhone and iPod touch, tap in the lower-right corner of the Safari page, then tap Private in the lower-left corner.
    Get help using iCloud Keychain

  • Why do I have to input a credit card for an itunes account?

I really just want to use the Home share capability, but it wants me to sign in using an itunes account which I don't have. Or rather I would have one, but I am required to input a credit card and I just don't do that kind of thing.

  • Why do I have to input Aperture license codes every time I start it?

I thought this issue was fixed in the latest Aperture 3 update (3.4.3). Now every time I launch Aperture it asks for my name and license. Anybody else still have this problem? Anyone know of a fix?

    Yes I did.
The answer is here on right of this page, under "More Like This"

  • Why do I have to input credit card info for Apple id. I can' t seem to bypass it. I didn't have two for my other accounts.

Apple ID won't let me finish my account without credit card info.??? There is no none selection this time.

They key to making the account without a credit card is to sign out of anything you have signed into.
You will need an e-mail you've never used with apple.
Then go into the App Store or iTunes and try to download something free. When prompted to enter your Apple ID, choose to make a new one and follow the prompts from there. You can then make the ID and get the 'none' option.

  • Why am I asked to input password 3x?

Recently I noticed that when I dive into the MAS or the iTunes store and decided to "Get" or "buy" something I'm asked three times to enter my login information.
What's going on here and is there a way to simply enter it once per session?

  • Why do I have to continually input my keychain password. I'm using  OSX

Why do I have to continually input my keychain password. Is the system is not storing the password properly?  I'm using  OSX. Please let me know how to fix this.

Most likely, because it differs from your login password. Launch Keychain Access and reset the login keychain password to match, run Keychain First Aid to ensure all entries are valid, restart, and that should do the trick.

Hi I'm just wondering does any one know why the email to reset ur password hasn't came to my email address its been 2 days and I have been trying since No Emails ? anyone know what happening ?

Either it ended up in a spam filter or it isn't being sent to that address. If you can't find it, use the link in the 'Additional Information' section of that article to contact the iTunes Store staff.

I have to input a password to log in to my Macbook Pro Santa Rosa under Mountain Lion. Now suddenly the built-in keyboard doesn't work at all so I cannot use my computer. I have the exact same problem trying to use the Remote app on both my iPhone 3gs and iPad 2 with either my Mac or ATV2.  My Remote app used to work on my phone - I can't recall if I ever actually used it with my iPad, but when I tried today, I got all the same results as you did (on both iPad, and then iPhone).  I  was using my ATV2 to play music from iTunes on my Mac and wanted to use the Remote app, but it would not connect to either device no matter what I did.
