Why do I have to keep signing into icloud

At least twice a week (normally when I am on the train home), I am prompted to enter my icloud password. This then temporarily removes my address book, my calendar etc. It also resets my icloud backup details and various other settings. Please tell me what do I need to do to stop this.

I am not sure, if it will fix the issue, but I would try to delete your account from your device and then add it back again. If this does not help, I would recommend to make a backup and store all your important data and then reset your device.

Your signature says you have 10.6.8 - assuming this to be correct, you need to set Mail up manually to access your iCloud email as detailed here:

Check here: Settings > Safari > Private Broswing > Be sure this is stiwtched OFF.
And check at AutoFill.

Why do I have to re-sign into Pogo games?

Every day I have to re-sign into Pogo Games with my user name & password. I installed Firefox solely so I could play games on the site because IE is not compatible with needed Java version. I have saved the cookie and am able to go in & out during the day as long as I haven't shut down the computer. I know it's a minor issue but is there anything I can do to avoid it?

Deselect: Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps

When I choose SHARE for a photo on my iphone that i just updated to ios 7, why do I have to keep opening the icloud control on my pc, uncheck and then recheck photos for them to then appear in icloud photos on my pc?

Before ios 7, photos that I took on my iphone 5 would go from camera roll to photo stream on my phone and then show up in my Photo Stream folder on my pc within a few seconds. Now they no longer auto sync to my Photo Stream folder on my pc. I know about the new iCloud Photos folder in my pc but the photos do not show up until I manually open the iCloud panel, uncheck the photos button, hit apply, then recheck the photos button and hit apply again. Why do I have to do all of this when it used to be automatic? Is the old Photo Stream folder on my pc dead now? Anyone else having this problem?

I HAVE RESOLVED THIS!! The problem was that I was signed in to iCloud on my iphone with an old Apple ID and using a different Apple ID on my pc. I signed out of iCloud on my phone, then re-signed in with the same id as the iCloud on my pc. Presto chango. All is well.

The files listed are: cookies.sqlite cookies.sqlite.bak cookies.sqlite.bak-rebuild. I tried deleting the cookies.sqlite file but I think the cookies.sqlite.bak-rebuild rebuilds it. In any case when I reopened firefox It was the same I still have to sign in all the time.

Why do I have to keep providing my iCloud password over and over

Every time, I go into a new app, like leaving mail to follow and imbedded link URL, I get prompted again for my iCloud password. It doesn't matter whether or not I provide the password, it just keeps on trucking. But the nuisance is still there!

Save any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll (or Save Image if you have iOS 8), then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account), choose Delete from My iDevice and provide your password when prompted (your data will still be in iCloud). Then sign back in (your data will download back to your device). That should stop the ongoing prompts for your password.

Every time I turn on air drop it makes me put my icloud password in. My wife doesn't have to do that. I'm pretty sure it's just a setting, but I can't figure it out. Air drop is supposed to save time, but having to type in a password every time takes more time...

I can't sign into icloud on my phone

I have just set up icloud on my PC. I then went to my phone and turned on itunes match. I have tried to sign into icloud using my appleid and password but it says I need an email address. I tried the email associated with my account with no luck, then I tried my [email protected] but that didnt work...am I missing something really straghtforward here?!

What are you trying to set up on your iPhone? ICloud or iTunes Match? The two services are separate and are not the same thing.

It should keep asking for the password, because it's trying to check for purchases... As soon as you login, it will see you have pending downloads and create the downloads section on the left below Purchases under the Store section. Then it will start the music downloads there, as they will be listed one below the other.
You could just try to check your account balance or view your account and that will trigger a password request too. You can just click on that and say that now iTunes keeps asking for the password and ask him to help you with that. Trick would be to interrupt him so that he carries on with another task after, so he doesn't notice the download. Or you carry on with email or browsing which you were "busy" with when iTunes interrupted you for the password (stupid iTunes)

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately, OSX 10.6.8 will not support iCloud. You can use the mail address from the iCloud account with Snow Leopard bot not the rest of the iCloud features. You can access then via the web browser though at iCloud.com.
To set up iCloud mail.
Delete your mail account from Mail preferences and set it up again using the Mail Server Information.
Some users have apparently encountered issues using this information in pre-Lion set ups (I haven't), Roger Wilmut has kindly provided instructions for those who find themselves with this problem.

Hi,
In the Finder use the Go Menu whilst holding down the ALT key.
Select the Library that appears when you do this.
Navigate to Containers/com.apple.soagent/Data/Library/Preferences
You will notice that many of the items are Aliases (to the Originals in ~/Library/Preferences).
But there are exceptions.
Delete (Drag to Trash) the com.apple.soagent.plist and com.apple.messageshelper.AccountInfoController.plist
Restart the Mac (I have not worked out is SOAgent launches when the Mac does).
Restart Messages.
If this does not work navigate to ~/Library/Preferences
In here find and Delete com.apple.ids.service.com.apple.madrid.plist
This will need a Restart of the app.
You will be asked Again for your Apple ID

I have the same problem. After updating to 10.9.2
My ipad and iphone works perfect. It's a certificate problem. Try to reset the keychain http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5813
Didn't work for me, so I'm calling apple support or maybe reinstall maverick if they can't solved it
