Each time I go back to my.yahoo.com, why does it keep getting a warning "We noticed you may have signed in or signed out in another window. Click OK to reload your page." message?

How about the cookies for that domain - did you delete those cookies?
"Keep me logged in for ..... weeks/days" is usually done via setting a cookie in the browser so the website recognizes the browser when you return and automatically logs the user in to the website via that cookie.
It seems that some websites have a problem recognizing the "remember me" cookie after a Firefox update, and the user need to set a new cookie with the updated version of Firefox so the website will recognize your preference. This particular problem with some websites not recognizing their own "remember me" cookie started like 4 years ago, shortly after Firefox 3.0 was released with an all new method of storing cookies. In the last 4 years this problem is mentioned less often as the years went by, so some websites must have fixed it at their end - where other websites evidently haven't gotten a handle on it.
Websites really need to get involved in the various "programs" out there like Browser ID / Persona - https://login.persona.org/about - and get rid of that hokey "cookies" method of remembering the users preference for being automaticall logged in upon their return to their website.

Each time I start Firefox I get a balloon stating we've noticed you've signed in or out in another window, click ok to reload page.

This problem happens each time I run Firefox, And nothing can be

Do you have other tabs open to that website or have that specific page bookmarked?

I deleted Firefox and reloaded it - did not solve the problem. This started occurring after I downloaded Windows Service Pack 2. I have Vista 7 OS. So every time I close and relaunch Firefox, I have to sign in with my username and password. Very very, annoying. If I can't get this corrected, I have to start using another Browser. It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

I get this message everytime I start Firefox..."We noticed you may have signed in or signed out in another window. Click OK to reload your page." How do I get rid of this?

Every time I'm finished with the internet, I close/exit out of Firefox, but every time I sign into Firefox, I get that annoying message telling me I have signed in or out of another message. What causes this and HOW DO I GET RID OF IT?

I get a block with that error message. When I click ok it clears but comes right back again.

Why do I keep getting "Find My iPhone" notices that I did not send?

For some reason, my various iDevices keep getting the occasional "Find My iPhone" notice. It comes in the form of a sound and a generic pop-up message. I am not sending any though. Any idea why?

My husband and I use one PC with two seperate accounts, why does he keep getting a update failure notice for Mozilla but I don't ?

We share one PC running Windows XP. When he opens his account he keeps getting first in the lower right hand corner that the updater is safe then a message box comes up that says " Update Failed make sure another version is not running and restart" When I Open my account no such message appears-why? Who has Admin rights on that PC?
If you don't have Admin rights you probably don't have "rights" to update Firefox, thus don't receive the "update message".
Try opening Help > About Firefox and see if you get a message about the update. And while you're in that window see if it says Firefox 27.0.1 or just Firefox 27.0 .
As far as the "Update Failed make sure another version is not running and restart" message, if your User Account was running in the background and you had Firefox open, that could cause Firefox not to proceed with the update in your husband's Logon User Account. Firefox needs all Firefox user Profiles to be closed as part of the update process. The user Profile that is initiating the update will close automatically, but the process will hang if any other Firefox Profiles are running in the background. ''I have that happen frequently when I am switching between 2 Logon User Accounts in WinXP.''

I couldn't take it anymore! I cleaned my registry, ran another Firefox update, disabled my add-ons, and went to att.net and att.com to see if they had upgrades to my home page (they didn't). I have a iphone 3GS 16 GB that is currently working on version 4.3.5. I'm having major battery issues and need to take it in for repairs but can't because I can't get the system to back up all my information first. Every time I try to sync or back up or update my apps it gives me that error message in the title. I have unauthorized, and reauthorized the computer. I have changed to another, completely new computer which was also authorized. i have been using the same account since I first got the phone, and never backed it up on any computer before.

@ deggie, I wasn't threatening ANYONE. I was simply saying how frustrating this has become, seeing how I have been trying on my own to figure this issue out for more then a month with no results. Like I said in the beginning, I have not used any other account to purchase apps or other products on my phone. I have only ever used one account. There are 23 apps that are saying they can't sync. It directs me to authorize the computer, which I do but it doesn't change the outcome. If I proceed, I lose those 23 apps correct? Do I also lose all my text messages saved, and other things such as documents in the "notes"?

Why do I keep getting prompted to install quicktime when i have done that already?

I went to the apple trailers website to check out some trailers. Every one I click on brings up a popup that shows me the quicktime logo and if I click it I am prompted to download/install quicktime. I've installed, and reinstalled, quicktime a couple times now....still the same problem.
I'm using google chrome as a browser.
Can anyone help me out?
