Why do I keep getting (Not Responding). I am running 3.6.9 and i am not too computer savvy so please give me a list of simple steps

most of the time (not all) when i am using Firefox, the little yellow light on my computer tower stays on (does not flash).
at the same time i get a message on the color bar at the top of the screen that says "such and such website" (Not Responding).
i have tried clearing the cache.

whenever i bring up firefox it is a picture of my puppy or a blank page. if i try to visit a website it will not even go to it that page just stays at the picture or the blank page. ive removed firefox and installed it again and it keeps doing the same thing. I've been through the exact same thing and cannot seem to get an answer here. When you go to Manage Storage, does it have something at the top like "19.1 GB of 25 GB available"? I only have a Mail account with 5.3 GB in it and a Backups account with 553 MB in it. Obviously, these don't add up to 19.1 GB. There was no change in any of these numbers when I deleted all the same files you mention. With the free Mobile Me storage expiring next month, this is something I'm pretty concerned about.

The only thing you can buy legitimately is the computer and the basic discs that are necessary to operate it. All Apple apps over and above this cannot be legally sold on. The machine should have been completely wiped and the original OS re-installed, bringing the machine to its original factory condition. iPhoto and Garage band were part of OS 10.6.8. Snow Leopard.
You must not use the original owner's ID.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

It sounds as if your account has been compromised. I would recommend logging into those accounts from your computer and their websites and changing your password.

This sounds like an error in the activation of your device, not to do with syncing. After the restore, did the device activate?
