Why do I keep getting the message "Error:TypeError:netscape.security.PrivilegeManager is undefined".

Error: TypeError: netscape.security.PrivilegeManager is undefined
This error message just started with the lastest upgrade that was downloaded. What is the problem ? And how do I fix/stop the problem ?

I got rid of it using these steps :
1. In the Firefox dropdown list, select Add-Ons
2. Click on Add-Ons and select Extensions
Deleted AVG Toolbar. No more error message!

    hello larry806, this error is most likely caused by an outdated extension - to check that, please launch firefox in safe mode once & see if you can replicate this error message then? if not, please try disabling your addons until you find the right one & keep it disabled in case there is no update available for it...

    One possibility is that a website is trying to use this method to gain additional privileges. Another possibility is that one of your add-ons is doing it.
    The next time you shut down Firefox, try starting it up in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift key while double-clicking the Firefox shortcut.
    A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).
    If you still get the message, it probably is generated by one of the pages you are opening. If you do NOT get the message, it probably was generated by one of your extensions.
    In case your extensions might need an update to stop using old, obsolete features, you can try on the Add-ons page. Either:

    Try disconnect your internet, then launch iTunes.
    Connect your device, then reconnect your internet.

    Do you have other wireless devices connected to this same router? Do they work?
    I really can't help you much but to say that when my router exhibited this issue it was accross the board (all notebooks would connect immediately following a router restart, but would loss connectivity until I rebooted the router again). In my case the only solution that was permanent was to replace the router.
    You may also try restarting the phone and the router, setup security - WEP - (or disable security) on the router and phone, and/or try a different wi-fi channel (may actually help).

    Ideally an external HD, but at a pinch you may be able to get enough on to USB thumb drives to free up enough space to carry out an orderly backup.
    Just remember that you need to move the files, not just copy them; in other words, once the file is on the thumb drive, the original needs to be deleted and the trash emptied to free up the space on your internal. So for any really important stuff you may wish to copy it to more than one drive for safety.

    Thank for the reply. My zip code is: 19702.
    My browser is the latest Android. Completely stock. I can access the internet. I don't use chrome. 
    I get the message only when I try to send emails from my Verizon email account. I can sometimes receive email but not all the time. I cannot send emails at all once this happens. I can send and receive emails from other email accounts except Verizon (that is why I am using Hotmail).
    If I completely deleted my Verizon account, restart my phone, than add my account back on to the phone, it will work for a couple of emails than I will get the message; send fail. Network error occurred.
