Why do I keep getting the message "Unable to connect to Imap server you may have exceeded the maximum number of connections to this server.
I already tried reducing the maximum number of connections to 1, but I'm still receiving the message. Is there anything else I can do?
My computer is a Mac mini running OSX 10.9.5. Firefox is version 34.0.5.
Ok, IMAP server almost universally allow multiple connections. Thunderbird as you would have observed uses 5 if they are available. As Airmail suggested, iphones just use more and more until they exhaust the available connections. There is no set maximum option.
However there are other things that can consume connections and some may surprise you.
Anti spam tools such as mail washer
Anti virus programs in their anti spam or anti phishing roles
Web mail.
The wife sharing the same account on her laptop.
That is from the top of my head. So could any of those apply.

Apple are currently trying to get less secure passwords updated. They require that your account passwords are at least eight characters long and contain both alpha and numeric characters and at least one upper case alpha character.
You might try changing your account password to match these requirements.

i can not sync my iphone 5s on itunes on windows. keep getting error message "unable to load dataclass information from sync services" when plugging in my phone.
I have tried uninstalling itunes and re-installing it.
Turning off firewall and antivirus.

when sending email, I sometimes get an error stating: Mail was unable to find your reply to: You may have deleted message. This does not happen with every sent message but it is doing it more and more. The reply is no where to be found.
You posted in a 4 month old dead post.
You would do better by posting a "New Topic" in the OS/Mail forum area of which os you are using. You will need to indicate which version os you are using as well as which version of Mail you are using in order to get the proper attention to your post. This will help the users reading your post to suggest solutions. -

It sounds as if your account has been compromised. I would recommend logging into those accounts from your computer and their websites and changing your password.

Apple Mail cannot find replies or forwarded emails -- the little arrows on the left of the list of emails: "Mail was unable to find your reply to the message '[subject of message]'. You may have deleted the message." I did not delete the message. Bug in the program, or am I missing something?
Of course they're in my Sent folder. Then why can't Apple Mail find them?

I'm experiencing some kind of corruption in Mail's ability to connect replies to messages.
The error I'm starting to get says this:
"Mail was unable to find your reply to the message... You may have deleted the message."
And these emails are no longer threading like conversations and when you click on the little "read reply" arrow icon it can't find the reply.
What could be up here please?!?!?

I keep getting a message that my voicemail is 90% full when I have deleted my voicemail messages. What do I do?
Depending on your carrier, deleting your voicemail messages may simply place them in a "deleted" area - much like a trash bin - that also needs to be emptied.
Check the voicemail area in your iPhone's Phone app. See if there is anything at all there - specifically something that says "Deleted". If so, inspect and empty it. -

I am unable to install the ios 5.1 to my ipod touch. I have tried over and over and get the message "unable to install update." My touch has 100% battery charge so I know that is not the problem.
