Why do I keep having to reset my password?

Please help.  I have to change my password for icloud almost every time I check my mail in the morning on my ipad, and every time I log into itunes on my pc (windows 8.1).  I have had to reset every day.  I had to change it again an hour ago and then logged out of my icloud email and outlook express email, logged back in just fine.  After searching for similar problems on Google I came to apple support and was asked for id/password and it won't recognize the new password I changed an hour ago.  And yes, it was typed correctly.  I have to do this every time I check my mail on my ipad (all software is up to date) and I'm going crazy.  Please help

Likely because one of the servers (the incoming or outgoing) needs authentication before you can receive or send messages.

I once spoke to a live tech a long while ago and he helped me combine all my purchased and downloaded music. Now its impossble to talk to anyone on the phone or even online and i am frustrated.

    You must create the account using an Apple device, a Mac (Lion or greater) or an IOS device (IOS5 or greater). Having done that you will be able to sign in from your Windows machine.
    FYI, iCal is an application that can display calendars from iCloud (and others) it is not a calendar itself, merely a calendar client. In Windows Outlook is the calendar client.

    It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

    Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

    This seems to happen at every opportunity for a password request - new device adds an email account, making a purchase (free or paid) on the App Store, logging in to the Apple website, doing just about anything with iCloud.  I have a very complex password for my own security, it is not one that I can actually remember so have to refer to it from paper every time, I added it to the keychain so that I wouldn't have to do this but it still asks every time, so what is the point of keychain?  I should not have to compromise my security by having a dumbed-down password, and I should not have to enter it on any of my devices once it is stored in the keychain in iCloud (all of my devices are password protected once the screen locks and to log in).
    Please advise - am I doing something wrong?
    This happens on my iMac, my iPad, my MacBook, in iOS, Mac OS, and in Firefox and Safari.
    PS..  I am aware that Firefox does not integrate with keychain, it is mainly the apparent lack of integration from the OS and App Store that really confuses and annoys me.

    version 7 is over 4 years old.....if you bought it used, the codes I don't think are valid. If they are "new" and unopened....I'm betting your not going to get any support.
    What tier is it? EDU, PRO, Power PRO?
    Considering the current version is 10.0....my guess is your going to be required to upgraded to the latest version.

  • Having problem resetting my password

    I couldn't login my account with my password. 
    So I clicked on the button to reset my password. However, when I got the email and I clicked on the link or entered the given code manually, the system just says that my account does not exist! I thought I deleted my account, so I tried to use my email to create new account but the system says that there is an existed account associated with my email. 
    What should I do guys?
    Now I got a new account with another email address but all my contacts were in the older account. 
    Is there a possibility that someone hacked my account???

    Ahmed, surely if those are your "life time" contacts, you have them stored somewhere else besides a phone, which can break, get lost or stolen, or have a software problem.
    If you've been using your phone as recommended, you've been synching your contacts with your computer (Address Book, Outlook) or with a cloud service (Google, iCloud).  Your contacts should be nice and safe on your computer or in the cloud.  Just resynch them to your phone.
    If you have NOT been using your phone as recommended, and you are unable to restore your phone from the previous backup, then you have unfortunately learned the hard way how foolish it was to not use your phone as intended to keep your data safe.

    Can't remember the password to the admin account on the computer. Read on resetting the password using the install disc, but automatic login is set to "on" so when I restart the computer and hold down the "c" key, it just boots up like normal without going to the utilities page.   • Wrt54g- keep having to reset

    I recently set up a wrt54g router that I got used from a friend.  I pressed the 'reset' button on the back, configured it for my computer according to the instructions on the website, and everything worked fine for a couple of days.  Then I lost connectivity, tried powercycling my modem, but had to reset and reconfigure the router again.  Worked fine again for a couple of days, then the problem repeated itself, so I reset and reconfigured again.  Is there something I'm doing wrong, or something additional I should do?

    Upgrade the routers firmware.  Hard reset it and reconfigure it again.  Now try.
