Why do I need professional installation if only upgrading from U100 to U200? Isn't this done remotely? And even if I need new equipment, why isn't there a self-install option?

I don't see why you need someone to come out. I assume U100 is the same as U-Family which means you have a DVR already.
Doesn't make sense to me either.
I would recommend that you send a Private Message to the AT&TCustomerCare customer service team. They will reply back with a PM (blue envelope in the top right of the page). Their normal business hours are from 7am to 10pm Central Time.

You can change the settings in Security & Privacy to "Anywhere"...
That should work... as to whether the printer driver will work, that's another question.

I have iCloud on my iPhone 4S with iOs7 and I have both added all my Music on my iTunes to my phone manually and also have them on my cloud. Under iCloud settings on my phone I have "Show All Music" toggled "On". When I'm driving and want to listen to a certain song, most of the time the song I want is grayed out, unable to be played by my phone, and the only option I have is to "Re-download" it from my iCloud--I get this little picture of a gray cloud with a red downward arrow displayed and my Music takes forever to load. I also get this annoying pop up message telling my I might be subject to additional data fees for .....re downloading music I've already downloaded. Its' annoying.

You can't run iMovie 11 on a PPC G5 running the old OS 10.3 Panther - which is what you say you have.

One way to bypass the Gatekeeper is to right or ctrl click on the Installer and choose Open from the Context menu.
Then it will give you that option to run the installer app.

You need to use a different IP address for the SCAN VIP. In your example, it cannot be the same as dlpqcora1.
Also, if you are not using a DNS to resolve it, then be aware that only one IP address can be configured (from note +[ID 887522.1] 11gR2 Grid Infrastructure Single Client Access Name (SCAN) Explained+ ):

Why am I having performance Issues with an upgrade from CS2 to CS5.5?

I am struggling hard with an upgrade from InDesign CS2 to CS5.5 (part of CS5.5 Design Standard)
There is a very slow response when trying to produce a 45 page document which needs many .jpeg images inserting, sometimes up to six on each 3-column page. While InDesign behaves sort of normally on text only pages, it slows to a virtual standstill when on the pages with images. (But this is what its for and I didn't have this problem with CS2!!)
Having read through some of the postings on this topic I have followed all the advice without success :-(
1) disable LSD in Preferences – Interface
2) disable thumbnail display in Pages
3) adjust view settings to Typical with Raster and Vector Images greyed out
4) disable Save Preview Images with Documents
5) check Links before opening documents
7) switch Preflight off
I shouldn't need to do all this should I???

4.0 GB RAM
ATII Radeon HD5570 graphics card 2779 MB available memory, 1024MB dedicated
plenty of free space – 274GB on c: drive and 296 GB on a D: drive
My hardware conforms to/exceeds the Indesign recommended hardware spec. Oh yes I am working on my local drive and I don't have these problems with Photoshop or Illustrator CS5.5.
Has anyone an idea about what's going on?
I've lost a good 6-8 hours so far trying to sort it out. Any help and observations will be gratefully received!

Thanks - I've found that the files were marked as 'hidden' and thus by switching them on gain I was able to recreate the original location. Regrettably this has had absolutely no effect on my problem. :-(
I have now created a fresh document, studiously linking all my images properly (similar number to a DK 'Eyewitness Travel Guide') and by the time I got halfway through its 80 pages, InDesign had slowed to a crawl - ie 15-20 seconds to respond to any command. It is clearly doing something that it thinks necessary despite all the 'workarounds' people have suggested. Please please Adobe what's going on???

11.1.5 is likely to be the version of iTunes you are being asked to run, not the version of Mac OS X.
To get a higher version of iTunes, you likely have to upgrade Mac OS X. All Roads lead through the 10.6 Upgrade, available as a physical DVD only, from the Apple Online store for about US$20:

This is one of the most benign Upgrades Apple has ever issued. The size of the Operating System gets smaller, performance is slightly faster, and very few Applications are left behind. If you have some older PowerPC Applications, you may need to ask to install the Optional Rosetta emulator for PowerPC code when you install.
Once your 10.6 install is fully Updated to 10.6.8 using Software Update, the Mac App Store will appear, and future upgrades (if needed) will be handled through variations of online purchases.

CCX Script - Need to Be updated when Upgrading from 7X to 8X w/ SQL Integration

Got a customer we're planning on upgrading from UCCX 7X to 8X. They are currently integrated with an external SQL DB. I understand I need to download the appropriate driver for 8X for SQL. The question I have though is whether the UCCX scripts themselves need to be updated as well or will the 7X scripts that have the typical DB read/get/write/release work when I do the migration?

They should work as-is but your only way to be sure is to test them. I would only anticipate an issue if you were doing complicated logic that CCX didn't support in the first place. Simple SELECT queries should continue to be fine.

Did you need to reinstall FCS after upgrading from Tiger to Leopard?

Need to upgrade from Tiger to Leopard mid FCP/Motion3 project and without FCS2 discs handy...I can't access them til after the project deadline.
I've read in a KB article that 'most' of the apps are ok after the upgrade-what's your experience?

Don't even think about it unless
#1 You MUST have a new OS to complete the project (i.e. new plug-in only works in 10.5)
AND
#2 You'll have a lot of extra time on your hands to reinstall everything when FCS doesn't quite work the way you need it to.
Of course you're familiar with the recommendation to clone your system before ANY upgrade.

Why do I need broadband when I only ask for a phon...

BT you are now confusing yourself..I ordered on November 1st a new phone line to be installed on November 26th, On November 27th nothing...28th nothing, 29th nothing - you get the picture - eventually after phone call 45 I was told that BT did not come on the 26th due to the snow which arrived on the 29th November.
The BT openreach people are very busy and my phone connection is now back until Jan 4th AM I am further told after chasing (phone call 87) -
This morning I get an automated email about my broadband being set up on 4th Jan ??? - I did not request this service, just a simple phone line - get to the exchange flick the switch and all systems go.
If you call my number you get a ringing sound (not on the handset) and no it is not switched to mute or off - because the phone line is not connected, or so it seems...
BT tell me - you've got my details what are you doing - how are you going to resolve this and hundreds of other complaints - I am waiting on my phone line only...do the right thing.

Why do I need OS Snow leopard to upgrade to OS Mountain lion

I have OS 10.6.8, which I beleive is leopard. OS Mountain Lion is going to cost me $19.99. Do I really need to buy/"upgrade" to Snow Leopard for an additional $19.99 first? If so why?
Also it doesn't look like I can download Snow Leopard, rather I have to have it shipped to me. Sound right?
I really just want Mountain Lion because I think I need it in order to purchase and run Numbers (another $19.99). First time I've seen this much compound purchasing with Apple and am not enjoying it. Am open to creative alternatives.
Lastly, recently purchased Apple TV only to learn that my Macbook Pro (Mid 2009) is too old to mimic through Apple TV. Any chance Mountain Lion will help with this issue? Tried a program called AirParrot ot accomplish the goal but it's so/so at this point.

Well good news for you. 10.6.8 is Snow Leopard, so you are you are good to go for upgrade to Mountain Lion.
Nix on the 2009 Mac to ATV mirroring. Video hardware in the newer models are what make this possible. You would be disappointed with the performance trying it on an older Mac without this newer video hardware, like with AirParrot.
