Why do I need to log in now?
I have an iMac and a MacBook. For the longest time, on both, if I had to boot, I'd automatically go to the Finder page.
Recently, that's changed for the iMac only. If I boot or restart, I end up at +the Log In page.+ After logging in, I can go to he Finder page. Why can't I boot to the Finder page on both? (I have no need to log in.)

I do some assistant editing at a film company and we have two suites of CS6 installed at work on two different computers. We also have the Adobe Creative Cloud now as well. I understand we need to log in to use softwares in the Creative Cloud but why the heck am I asked to log in to use software in CS6. For example, I open a Premier Pro file and then it asks me to log in. If I click cancel, it just closes Premier Pro. So ok I signe in but if someone can tell my whats up with that.This is most likely because the copy's licence has not been verified, and to verify it you need to log in so it can check that you account contains the license.
It's just to prevent torrenting and piracy. -
Is this safe, why should I have to sign in with my google account? And why do I need to give access to my account?
What does that mean. I'm just asking how to use one of the products that I was encouraged to use by a Mozilla email. I was worried about the issue of safety and privacy of having to sign in with another companies account (Google) and give access to that account.

This worked fine with the "message priority" arrows, but the loss of this button has more profound implications for me at this time as I am expecting very important information on an email address that I can no longer access.There is nothing wrong with that.
It is actually working as expected. That means that, as long as you have iTunes Match on, you can download any music from your device so you don't have the need to sync with your computer.
However, if you want to force some music to be stored in your device, turn off iTunes Match in your device:
Settings > Music > turn off iTunes Match

Why do I need to log into my homepage each time I open up firefox.
Ever time I open up Firefox I must log into each of my homepages,AOL, Yahoo, and Comcast. This just started all of a sudden, when I use Internet Explore it works just fine. Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
* In [[Private Browsing]] mode all cookies are session cookies that expire if that session is ended, so websites won't remember you.

Why do we need standby redo log on Primary database.

I was going through the document in OBE,

I have two queries:
1) I noticed the statement -
"Configure the primary database to receive redo data, by adding the standby logfiles to the primary. "
Why do we have to create standby redo log on a primary database?
2) There is another statement --
"It is highly recommended that you have one more standby redo log group than you have online redo log groups as the primary database. The files must be the same size or larger than the primary database’s online redo logs. "
Why do we need one additional standby redo log group than in Primary database.
Could anyone please explain to me in simple words.

1. Standby redo logs are used only when the database_role is standby, it is recommended to be added in primary also so that they can be used on role reversal, however during normal working standby redo logs will not be used at all on primary.
2. In case of 3 online redo log groups, it is recommended to use 4 standby redo log group this is in case if log switching is happening frequently on primary and all 3 standby redo logs are still not completely archived on the standby and 4th can be used here as there will be some delay on standby due to network or slowness of arch on standby.
Use of the standby redo log groups depends on the redo generation rate, you can see only 2 standby redo logs are getting used while you have 4 standby redo log groups, when the redo generation rate is less.
So it is recommended to have one more standby redo log group when redo generation rate is high and all of the existing standby redo log group are getting used.

I just downloaded Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, I am in the install process now and I am getting an Error message, Error 1303, stating I need to log on as an administrator ... this is my computer so I don't understand the issue??

Even though it's your computer but your user account might not have sufficient privileges to install the software.
Please try the following :
> Enable the hidden Admin Account on Windows 7 ( Ref : http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-administrator-account-on-wi ndows-vista/ )
Reboot and try installing in the new enabled Admin user account and check.

Why do I need to open an Adobe account in order to open attachments?
The message: "Adobe Reader could not open {file name here} because it is either not a supported file or because the file wasn't correctly decoded" appears whenever I try to open a downloaded file. Then I get information on how to open an Adobe account for $7 or $8 bucks a month. This annoying disruption on service only occured sence I installed an Epson printer. They deny any knowlage of working with or association with Adobe. However my computer is severly effected by the recent installation.

My second question is why do I need to do those three lines from
ServletAuthentication to logout a user? Ok, maybe I'm from the MS world,
but that seems excessive, especially since I've already done a
session.invalidate() right before it, but the bea docs say I'm required to
do all four!
When you invalidate a session. You invalidate the session of the web
application that your jsp/servlet is part of. It is possible to have more
than one web application on WLS and have them share a authentication info.
While these applications share authentication they do not share their
sessions so because of that calling session invalidate does not kill all the
sessions. ServletAuthentication is needed to kill all the sessions and do a
complete logout from WLS.
