Why do I need to login thousands time to add an event in webmaker events?

I tried this everytime but I need to login infinity times to add an event in webmaker events.Sometimes luckily it lets me add events.
Please fix this

Why does CC need my login every time I launch a CC program?

On my Windows 7 64 bit system with some CS6 and CC programs and running from an administrator account with UAC set at "never notify" I'm being asked for my login just about every time I launch any CC program.
This is has been slowly getting. This is not following any system change, new CC install or any other system change or crash I'm aware of.
I know others have had this problem but if there is a definitive fix available I can't find it.
Is there a fix?
I'll leave the obligatory complaints about how annoying this is out but be assured, they're there!

Sync unfortunately is known to sometimes corrupt or duplicate bookmarks. I had hoped it may have been fixed with the New Sync but apparently not.

Why does my husband get e-mails every time I add an event to our shared calendar

My husband and I share a calendar through the cloud. Every time I add an event to our shared calendar, in addition to the event showing up on his calendar on his ipad or iphone, he gets an e-mail saying I've added an event. How do I turn off the e-mail notices?

as far as i understand iCal it is on the "receivers/subscribers" side to deal with email-updates (and not on the "senders/changers" side):

to NOT get email notification about updated events from a shared calendar you subscribed to you have to uncheck "events affect availability" in that calendars "info" (mac os X.7 and X.8: iCal —> calendars dropdown —> right click on the subscribed calendar —> choose "get info" from the context-menu —> uncheck "events affect availability")

Why do I have to login every time I use Facebook?

I am asked to login every time I open Facebook on my iPad. This doesn't occur on my laptop or desktop.

Firefox isnt even available for the iOS platform, so this question is not related to Firefox.

Whenever I add an event to iCal it shows up twice. Even if I add it from my iPhone.

If you have a Time Machine back you might just restore the iPhoto Application from better times.
If not I would re-install the iPhoto.app
Do not delete the iPhoto Library in your pictures folder.
Trash the iPhoto application (in your applications folder), the iPhoto preferences ( username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iphoto.plist) and all receipts with iPhoto in them (Macintosh HD/Library/receipts)

Why isn't my calendar and reminders letting me add an event/reminder?

When I go to my calendar or reminders app and I try to add an event/reminder the "+" button is grey and it won't work.
I have turned off my phone and looked all through the settings, but I don't know why it's not letting me. It's really annoying
and I hope I get it fixed soon!

Why do I need a password every time I save a file to my hard drive?

For some reason, every time I try to save a file to my hard drive I need to enter the computer password. What am I missing?

It sounds like you may need to reset your permissions. Are you getting the request for a password when you save to any location on your hard drive, or when you save to specific folders?

Why do I need to update Quicktime time player to download iTunes?

I just had a new hard drive installed on my iMac. I used a my latest time machine back up to restore the hard drive. Now when I try to open iTunes I get a message that I need to update Quicktime player. My iMac is a 24" early 2008 running Leopard.

I understand that I need Quicktime Player, I don't understand what happened after restoring from time machine. Everything else showed up fine except for iTunes. Hopefully all my music is not lost.

I changed my router password, now I need to login each time....

I have a MacBook Pro and recently changed my router password (from ASCII to HEX). Now my MBP recognizes the wireless signal (full strength) but I cannot pull up web pages without re-detecting my network and typing in the new password. A minor annoyance, but it would still be great to have it back to where it would remember the password.

Changing the keychain worked the first time that I did it, but has not worked since. I still have to find my network and re-login. I also checked my keychain to make sure it was remembering the correct password.

Why do I need to login to hang up a call?

If I'm talking on a call for more than 3 minutes (my auto-lock settings), my phone locks. When I want to hang up the call, I have to login and then I can click End Call (or whatever the button says).
Is there a way to hang up a call without loging in first? Or is there a setting that doesn't auto-lock when I'm on the phone? SUPER ANNOYING!

I'm not sure. I have a 5S and use the Touch ID. I've used the device with a Bluetooth, but hung up from that. I've used it on a speakerphone conversation, a long one and then reached over, touched the screen, it was still on the call screen and touched End Call. The same with calls holding it to my ear. Something is different, but I'm not sure what. I'm not sure there is nothing wrong with the sensor, but if you believe their isn't, then that is your choice. Good luck.

Need help on Implementing timer based JTable update events

i am writing a trap receiver that placed the entries in a jtable, and i am having a problem where the entires can arrive so fast they swamp the event thread. the solution i believe is to write a custom model that calls the table update events on timer based intervals. i have made an attempt at this, but cannot get it to work. has anyone done this, or possibly tell me where i have gon off the tracks?

super.fireTableChanged Well, if you are using the above code every time you receive an update, then I suspect you would be having problems. The fireTableChange() event is an expensive method. It means you need to recreate the TableColumnModel and repaint the entire table every time.
You should simply be using method like model.addRow(...), model.setValueAt(...) to make updates to the table.

Why does a digital indicator formatted for time & date add 16 hours to the input?

I wire a digital indicator with a double precision value that is supposed to indicate an elapsed time. But the indicator (formatted for time and date, with the date inactive) always adds 16 hours to the wired input.
This problem occurs even in a simple vi I wrote that only consists only of a constant wired to the indicator.
Using LabView 6.0.2

Labview interprets the number passed into an indicator formatted for date & time as seconds since Jan. 1st 1904. I'm assuming that since you're looking for elapsed time this is not what you're passing in. One thing that I've done is get the elapsed time in seconds and write a routine to convert that into whatever format you want.

Why does iCal crash every time I add an event?

It seems that everytime I add an item to iCal and then try to set the time iCal crashes. Any suggestions?

AirPort Utility is required to configure an Apple AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule.
Time Machine can use a Time Capsule or a locally connected volume. You only need to use AirPort Utility if you are using a Time Capsule.

Why do I need Quick time 7 and Quicktime 10 ?

I have just migrated from iMac5 (2.16 GHz) Mac OS 10.4.11 Quicktime 7.6.4 to a new imac 3.06 Mac OS 10.6.2 Quicktime 10.0.
Some of my quicktime files play ok but others prompt me to download quicktime version 7. Why do I need to do this ? (There seem to be a lot of problems with this looking at the forums). All the files play on the old mac. Why isn't Quicktime forward compatible or why is there no import facility so that you can make your old files compatible ?

Because your system thinks you are missing specific codecs required for the playback of certain compression formats. In some cases this may be an installation problem in which the codec was "lost" or "orphaned" during the update process. In others it may be a need to update the component to work properly under the dual QT X/7 framework installed under the Snow Leopard OS. You need to check the Inspector/Finder Info or similar window to determine what specific codec is causing the problem and then re-install or update that specific codec/component/package.
(There seem to be a lot of problems with this looking at the forums).
Most of the problems are "self-inflicted" by individuals who, rather than studying the problem symptoms, analyzing them to determine their cause, and then fixing the problems, elect to immediately delete and re-install software -- often attempting to mix components from different operating systems and/or update versions of the software in their haste.

I am running both Leopard and Snow Leopard variations of QT v7.6.6 and all of my "old" files have remained compatible -- to include MPEG-2 video and a limited number of third-party supported compression formats. Since my configurations continue to work properly, my first guess is that you have an unresolved configuration problem or inability for your QT X 64-bit routines to communicate/switch properly with the 32-bit routines as required for your content.

Technically, you probably don't. However, as an old QT 7 Pro user who likes many of the QT 7 Player controls/options/features better than QT X's new but more basic features, I maintain both in active service and tend to use QT 7 as the default player of most of my work flows. Still, this is up to the individual. I am in no hurry to rush the changeover from an older but still more reliable QT technology to a more modern, but as yet, less mature and well tested "new" QT technology. In short, I feel it best to make the most of both dispensations during the development of this "new" version of QT.
