Why do i never have service anywhere and my phone always needs restoring?
Someone please help. My phone hardly ever works. It never has service. Sometimes, I will turn it off and back on, and I might get lucky enough for it to have service. It tells me daily "Iphone cannot make or recieve calls. Iphone needs to be restored.", so I restored it thinking that would resolve all of my problems, but it didn't. Do I need to put my sims card in a different phone?
If the phone is still malfunctioning after a restore, you need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar or Authorized Apple Service Provider to have the hardware checked.

The iPad does not come with a clock app or the weather app either. There are lots of clock and weather apps in the app store, and many are free.

I have Iphone 4s, and the phone will activate itself again. This I have verified, but when I shall put this onto my phone, so the phone will not approve the newusername and password. How do I get changed Apple ID on my phone so that I get using the new username and password that is verified? Silly to buy a new phone just for this .... The phone is almost three years old. It sounds like your device might be in Activation Lock. Is it asking your to enter in an Apple ID & password, but only showing you the first letter of the email address and then some dots? Example: j•••••@icloud.com?
If so, do you recognize that email? Do you have an Apple ID that fits the same format? If so, then go to www.cloud.com, log in with that Apple ID & password, and see if under Find My iPhone it shows this device. If so, turn off the device, then remove the device from the list. -

YOur phone is in recovery mode, any data that was on there is already gone, you will have to restore your phone and use whatever backup you to restore to.

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, I already did all of these things. As you can see from the below screenshot, the language is already set. Also, this screenshot was taken in Safe Mode, so NoScript is not enabled. About:accounts still says I need to enable cookies for some reason. So, this solution didn't work.... -

I have itunes match and my phone is still filled with songs and have no room for anything else. Must be a set up issue since I assumed all songs would be in the cloud and not on my phone.
Match backs up your music in iCloud, it does not remove it from the phone. It still needs to be on the phone if you want to listen to it.

Put iPhone into Recovery Mode and Restore with iTunes on computer. Open iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. Click Restore button of iTunes. If any Error messages are given write them down so you can look up cause and solution. If still problem, and if you have Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation and take to Apple for resolution.

My itunes music is all gone, still have music files and a Phone backup?
So randomley my itunes kind of crashed and now all of my music from my library and playlists is gone. it is asking me to pretty much start over. I have an iphone and im scared to plug it in but my phone still has all of my music playlists, play counts etc. I go to itunes>Preferences>Devices and listed is a back up from my phone. My music files are scattered and not complete, not all my music wasn't bought so i can't re download it.
Is there anyway i can use my phone back up to get my music back? Will plugging my phone into my itunes erase whats on my phone?

IOS5 update won't work and now phone freezes in restore
I have a 3gs and tried to update last night to iOS5. The download kept timing out, but after turning off my firewall (thanks to another community users advice) it downloaded. Next problem was actually updating. The update froze, and after about 2 hours of non-movement I forced it to quit to try again. Now, my phone won't turn on and is stuck trying to restore. When I connect to iTunes it powers up and tells me I need to restore. No problem - I backed it up, so I'm not worried. But it won't actually restore. It sits idle at about 2% on my iphone screen and at about 25% progress on iTunes. I've left it alone for about 4 hours at a time without movement. Please help! I have no phone now.
