I'll repeat what I am trying to find out...
1. You do a pmset -g on the terminal.
2. The output from that pmset should have a line that says "sleep 0 (imposed by n)" where n is some number.
3. The ps ax | grep n is supposed to display what the process associated with n is.
It's the output from step 3 that should indicate what is causing you not to sleep.
But speaking of sleep, that's where I am going. -

Assuming you mean that you performed the repair yourself, it would seem that you either obtained a defective screen or you did some sort of damage when you replaced the screen. You can try asking for assistance on ifixit.com, a site dedicate to those attempting their own repairs, or you can take the iPad to a shop and pay them to try to correct the problem for you. Apple will no longer touch your iPad now that you've attempted your own repairs.

I am in Muse 2014.3. When I edit a page, in the preview everything looks fine, but when I upload it to FTP, the page does not change, even when I upload the whole site. Is this a bug? I don't know what to do.

Are you sure about your FTP credentials (FTP folder and site URL) that you are using for the upload? Are you able to see the updated files in the remote directory of the FTP server, after you finish uploading the muse file, using an external FTP client like FileZilla?

My MBP didn't recognise my password, started it in safe mode, I can see my files, but I don't know what to do next, as the image of reset password isn't selectable. I just moved from PC. Need help please...
Safe mode is not what you want in this case. Reboot to recovery mode - hold down cmd-R as the Mac reboots. Go past the language-selection screen, click the Utilities menu, then Terminal. Type:
resetpassword
Followed by the return key, and follow the prompts. Reboot normally when done.

My macbook pro recognizes my sd card on the desktop, but when i go to the imovie importer it goes straight to isight camera. Ive imported via this method before but now i dont know whats going on.

Why can i only see my music when connected to wifi
i started to use icloud when i got the new iphone and new ipad. but i can only see my music when i'm connected to wifi or 4g. what can i do to use the music when no service is available.
Under the music tab in your settings you will need to turn on cellular data, with itunes match if your not connected to the internet either through celleluar data or wi-fi it will not play the music because it is streaming from icloud. The only other way to have your music play with out connection is to actually sync them to your phone. See attached.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

TD Ameritrade's Tech Support said that Firefox 4.0 will not work with their Command Center. Keep getting an error message "additional plugins required" but nobody knows what it needs. Firefox 3.6 and all the earlier versions worked just fine (better than Safari). I might have the same problem. Literally just plugged in my new iPad2 into my Win 7 iTunes 10.4. Clicked to register, and now it's up to what looks like the "Find my iPad" screen and it's all of a sudden in Chinese or something?

yesterday my charger was working fine, all day long I got home and go to plug it in and it's not working, I let my phone die and it starts working like the battery symbol shows up but once the phone is on it stops working. I've tried a couple of leads but I know they aren't proper apple and it still doesn't work, my friend said I've probably fried the battery but I'm not sure, but I know since I got the phone the battery hasn't been all that good, it charges quickly but then also dies quickly, I really don't know what to do and I really need some help, should I get a new lead or replace my phone because I have insurance?
