Why do i pay so much not to not be able to use my phone
I live in the country several miles outside of the range of a cell phone tower. So what i cant figure out is why do i need to pay $250 for a network extender when i pay verizon $110/month for a phone i cant use at my house? Im eligible for an upgrade and if verizon isnt willing to do something about this i may just go get me a $40 unlimited phone plan from walmart.

Nowhere in your original post is it mentioned you recently moved. If you want that "key detail" picked up, you should mention it.
I guess YOU didn't pick up the "key detail" that I assumed you had moved to a new location, or the "key detail" that it was YOUR decision to move, not Verizon's although YOU want Verizon to pay for a decision YOU made.
I am all for people choosing the best provider for their situation and wish you luck with your Walmart service, however I see NO REASON WHATSOEVER why Verizon should just give you a network extender for a loss of service thru no action on their part. It was an action on YOUR part which is causing YOU this problem.
When you sign a contract with Verizon, you have a 14 day window in order to determine if you want to keep their service or leave without penalty. In this 14 day window, you should check to see if you receive service where you feel you need it. One of these areas, in your case at least, is in your home. If YOU move to a new location at some point during YOUR contracted period where you no longer receive the required service in your home, it is incumbent on YOU to remedy the situation, NOT VERIZON.
Whether this remedy is YOUR PURCHASE of a network extender or changing to a different provider, that is totally up to you. Good luck with whatever choice you decide.

Don't try to use iCloud for this. Instead, import them to your computer using your usb cable as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. That will import photos and videos from your camera roll. You might also want to back it up before repairing or replacing it. You can do this by connecting it to your computer, opening iTunes, then going to File>Devices>Back Up; and to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. This backup can later be restored to your repaired or replaced phone to recover your data.

My iPhone is split from front panel on top, and back cover of my is swollen too. I am not able to use my phone and I cannot access my data in the phone. Please suggest what could be the cause of this problem?
It sounds like the battery might have gone bad, and is swelling and causing the symptoms you describe. Do not attempt to use the phone, but take it to Apple for evaluation.

i connected my iphone 3g to itunes which was in 4.1 firmware and itunes ask for an update which i downloaded an updated the phone to version 6.1.3 but my phone cannot start it shows no service my sim card is not getting network and i cannot use the phone. what should i do.?
First, you do not have a 3G if you could upgrade it to 6.1.3, because 4.2.1 is the last version that will work on the 3G. So you either have a 3GS or you somehow hacked the phone to install an incompatible version. Assuming you have a 3GS the most likely reason for your problem is you have a gray market phone that was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it. When you upgraded it you removed the hack, so the phone is now locked to its original carrier. -

I bought an iphone 4 in august of this year, i had to have another one sent to me because it was freezing up on me. The new phone i recieved is doing the same thing and I have a hard time getting the phone to charge. I didn't pay all that money for a phone to not work like it is suppose to. I am not trying to be difficult and complain however I just feel that I payed too much money to be having all of these problems with this phone.

When I am surfing the net, I have always been able to use my back/forward buttons. Now all of a sudden, they are not available to use, you can still see them, but they are grey, not black, like they once were so that I could click them to go back to a previous page, or forward once I've went back? I don't know what's the problem. I did the most recent firefox update that was sent to me recently. But just noticed this problem today. Thanks for your help.

I Have been with Verizon since they came to phoenix and right now I'm in a contract with 12 months left. My plan is unlimited talk and text and 1 gigabit of data and I pay 100.00 a month. Recently I was looking in to prepaid plans and discovered that Verizon now offers a prepay plans and their lowest plan is 60.00 a month which includes unlimited talk and text and 2 gigabits of data and then they have another plan which is unlimited talk and text and 4 gigabits data for 70.00 a month. Needless to say i was mad I pay 30.00 to 40.00 more and get less. When I called Verizon and asked them why a new non contract person can get a better price than I'm receiving? Their answer was that with the contract phones we get their excellent customer service the prepaid phone customers only get a reduced version. Now I don't know about you but I do not make 30.00 a month worth of calls to Verizon's Excellent customer service a month. I don't even do It in a year or throughout my entire contract. So where do you think my 30.00 goes not to the unlimited data pond they took that away, maybe to the upgrade your phone early pond? No, they did away with that too. Oh I know, It goes to the Ceo's and shareholders. Well that's probably good I'm sure they could use it. Tell all your friends and family to call customer service and inquire about the new prepaid plans.
What type of phone do you have? Is it a newer, 4G phone? Those phones are NOT available with one of the pre-paid plans.
Do you have a Family plan, or only an individual plan? Family plans are not an option on pre-paid plans. You would have to manage each line separately, keeping a pool of money available in each plan to be paid when the plan renews each month.
Several people have posted on these forums when they have forgotten to "fund" their pre-paid account and have lost their number and have to begin service again from scratch. There are also those on these forums who have forgotten the funds in their pre-paid account "expire" after a period of time and money in your account can be lost in this manner. Yes, there are upsides, but there ARE downsides to having a pre-paid account. You would have to balance the pros and cons to see which would be the best fit for you.
Of course, pre-paid is an option, one which everyone must make for themselves. Not everyone will be happy with a pre-paid, but if price is the deciding factor in your choice, it may be the correct choice in your case. -
Why do we pay so much money for Apple but no device can stand a fall? Even with a case.
I feel that apple should make better products that look good and is durable. That's crazy how we all spend over $200 on a product and the moment you may accidentally drop your device, the whole thing shatters.
I had put a otter box on my device and, still my brand new iPod is cracked and ugly.
Now we invest in these products and when accident happens we are asked to pay half of what was already paid to just get a screen replacement. That is crazy.
Apple may have "nice" customer support but creating devices that are not accident proof and then charge the customers two times more than what should be the price. I am a college student and in my business class the one thing my professor drills in our heads is. CUSTOMERS ARE PRIORITY!
Don't get me wrong I love all of apple products but i am sick of this problem and it seems no one wants to put the customer first.Does brand new mean that you have owned it less than three months? If you bought your iPod with a credit card, check with your card company. Some cards provide Purchase Protection insurance which will replace or repair any item lost, stolen or damaged within 90 days of purchase.

Hp pavillion dv6 not turning on or able to use system recovery
My computer was working normally last night but today will not turn on correctly. i have tried system recovery, system restore, last known good configuration, safe mode, hard reboot....nothing is working. The screen either stays black or a message saying

If you don't have Diagnostics in BIOS-try tapping Esc key immediately after powering on. From the menu that appears (hopefully) tap F2 System Diagnostics.

My new birthday present of an i-phone 4s, can not be synced with the navigation of my 2011 Honda CRV. Can anyone give us hints on what to do, as the Honda dealership can not enable the phone to work with hands free. Help, this is very frustrating as the old cheap phone,worked perfect. Apple did not make this a user friendly product for cars.
Start by reading the User's Guide which will provide details for how to pair the device with other bluetooth devices. This may also require reading the Owner's Manual for the vehicle to find out how to put it into pairing mode.
