Why do I see a yellow exclamation symbol in address bar?

When visiting some site using Android Firefox I get a yellow exclamation symbol in the left side of the address bar. For example at http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_geolocation.asp
There is no indication anywhere why this is happening. Clicking on it does nothing.
1. What does this symbol mean.
2. The fact that I was unable to get info about it (in the browser) makes this extremely user unfriendly and should be fixed.

None of these answers are correct. The error favicon happens in Firefox for Android occasionally. When the browser is offline or on a poor network connection you will get a timeout error page.
We have a bug where the icon persists on reload. With a little time the favicon cache will expire and the favicon will be updated to the correct one.

In Firefox 23, as part of an effort to simplify the Firefox options set and protect users from unintentially damaging their Firefox, the option to disable JavaScript was removed from the Firefox Options window.
However, the option to disable JavaScript (Java and Javascript are seperate! see: http://kb.mozillazine.org/JavaScript_is_not_Java) was not removed from Firefox entirely. You can still access it from about:config or by installing an add-on.

Why do I get a yellow exclamation point with red background when exporting to YouTube using compressor?

Whenever I try to export using FCPX and Compressor 4 I always get something that looks like this:
Any idea why that is? I'm using all default settings on the youtube export, and I'm transcoding it using another mac via compressor.

How can I see the entire url in the address bar in Mountain Lion including the http or https?

I recently updated Safari and now when the url of the site I am visiting shows up in the adress bar...it is minus the http or https so I am unaware fo whether the site is secure or not. How can I enable Safari to show me the entire url each and everytime I visit a webpage? Like before??

Why can't i click on bookmark tabs or address bar

My bookmarks toolbar is totally unresponsive. I can click on the bookmarked tabs, but nothing happens. My new tab option (the "+" sign to the right of the currently open tap) is also not responding. This has just started occurring today, 9/27/12, at about 12pm central time. I would like to get it resolved as it's quite annoying and makes my browser pretty much worthless.

Try running Firefox in safe-mode.

Shouldn't really be the MPE at fault here ... what is the codec of the footage/sequence/project?
Second, can you create a new project in PrPro, then in the media browser, import that sequence from the other project?

Because you have the View set to display a warning for excess chroma. You can turn that off by going to the menu View > Range Check > Off.

It's hard to say - as You can select to use another one in another location - which I know nothing about.
• to find out where iMovie tries to find material - As I remember it one put the pointer arrow ontop of one yellow exclemation mark and "Hands off" for some secondes - and it will tell.
I use to do a quick - [Shift+cmd+3] to do a screen dump - so that I can read this address in full and try to set all material back to this location. iMovie can not be set to find it elsewhere - only alt is to re-insert material and now not move it - but this is most often a more tedious way - than just move material back to where iMovie tries to find it.

Why did I loose all photos in DVD project and see only broken chain symbol?

I opened my DVD project to see only broken chain symbols where previously I had thumbnail photo images. My previous work to nearly finish this project was gone! Then, today, I opened another DVD project, a larger one, that I'd worked on also this week, and found the same thing had happened to it! I have no idea what happened. Help!

Additional details: This is getting worse. Today, I see that ALL my existing DVD projects have lost photos and have only CHAINS. I get this message: "Assets have been found in your project which have been modified externally since this project was used the last time". Do you want to automatically update your project? To which lately I am answering- Cancel. Previously, in one case, I answered, "Update." WWWV
I can see this is very bad news, but I still don't know what happened.

Yellow exclamation mark in references: What does it mean

In my c# project, i have references to c++/cli and native c++ projects under "references". (i need to have them there, in order to be able to use msbuild on my solution from the command line.). all of these projects have yellow exclamation marks overlayed
to the "reference" symbol. (vs 2010). i can't find any explanation what these symbols are supposed to tell me.
any ideas ?

I think this behavior is a warning to user that the native dll referenced by C# project is not supported there.
And I cannot say if it is by design or just a bug, would you mind sharing the connect link here, so that others could see and vote on it?
In addition, for msbuild issue, you may try MSbuild forum for better suggestions/workaround.

IMovie Yellow Exclamation Mark - What's missing?

I have movies that I updated from iMovie 09. When loading the Project, in the Timeline, I see the title in the middle with a yellow exclamation mark. I'm not sure why this is there. I initially had music missing with red and some files missing for some Projects, but I fixed everything. It still shows the yellow exclamation mark. When I hover over it, nothing happens. I have an image of what it looks like. What am I missing from the Project?

thanks for pointing me in the right direction Edwin. The problem was that I changed the name of the method after the def-file for the method has been created the first time. JDEV did not update the contents of this file (and/or the DataBindings.cpx). So the method name was wrong and I got errors running my test app.
I removed the task flow completely and set up a new one which is working as expected.

for me it looked like I couldn't call the method defined as default action. I got errors (which I didn't read carefully) stating the the method was missing (something like ...#[bindings....} not found). My conclusion was that the exclamation mark in the diagram stating that bindings is unknown was the cause.
The real cause of the problem I described above.

App Catalog ERROR "The action could not be completed. Try again later" Yellow exclamation mark

Hello, I have problem with access to App Catalog, when i try to access to App Catalog it's give error "The action could not be completed. Try again later" with yellow exclamation mark. I tried to make partial erase, I made full erase, I made Secure erase, but all these steps not helps.
I renew my firmware with latest webOSDoctor, but still nothing. Then I changed my Palm Profile, I create new one, but still NOT WORKING!
I checked all connections 3G and Wi-Fi, everything is ok, but App Catalog still not working.
So, I contacted with Palm Support, I told about this issue and I send them Quick Log and Log

Honestly saying, the problem I had already a week, I tried to solve it on their own, but all my attempts were unsuccessful, I am sure that this problem is not related to what some of my actions, cause I never made any manipulations with phone.
I really appreciate the attention rendered by the support services, I just need that everything works fine.
I am sure that this is some sort of a strange problems, I have long been searching for an answer in the Internet came on similar way problems have other users.
I received today a update notice for App Catalog, I saw that HP Palm updated App Catalog, I updated my App Catalog, check again, but still nothing changed, same problem "The action could not be completed. Try again later" with yellow exclamation mark.
So, I will wait for a few days, will see what's happening.

Please tell us which line of code you posted shows 'Car (double)'.
The only constructor that I see is this one:
Car(double start, double end, double gall)

The HP 4215 icon shows a Yellow exclamation point across it. .

I am helping my Aunt. She purchased a new HP Pavilion, Windows 7, to replace her Pavilion HP XP. Her printer, an HP 4215 that worked with her HP 4215 All in One that worked with her previous Pavilion, is not being recognized by the new HP Pavilion. The HP 4215 icon shows a Yellow exclamation point across it. The Universal Print Driver is not seeing it. How do I get it to recognize this printer, which was working fine with Windows XP?

On the PC, down along the bottom by the clock, is there an icon that looks like a printer. If so, hover over it with the mouse and see if it shows documents pending or printer offline. If it does, then double click on the printer to open the dialogue box. Click on "Printer" and see if there is a check mark on "printer ... offline". If so, then click on the check mark to remove it and it should move your printer to online.
