Why do I see things set differently in Advanced Actions (F9) than in each slide's Edit Question settings?

After spending 10+ hours of trying to figure out why my first two quiz slides did work, and my next eight didn't, I found the answer as an offhand, btw, comment. The expected action was On failure, Jump to Slide x, which would jump back to the beginning of that content "section." (Quiz slides (two per section) are interspersed with sections of content slides). I finally ran across the advice to "save yourself time" by using F9 to see Advanced Interactions (which is, what, a dialog? a view?). Turns out this was not just a time-saver but the ONLY way (that I've found yet) to see and fix my problem. In Advanced Interactions, I could immediately see that the first two slides were set as I thought, (Jump to Slide upon failure), but the rest were set to Continue upon failure. This, EVEN THOUGH on every question slide, in Edit view/mode on the Edit Question > Options tab, it was set for Jump to Slide upon failure. Why did it appear that way in Edit Question > Options, but not in Advanced Interactions? I set them all correctly in the Advanced Interactions and now the jumping is working correctly (Now I have problems with questions not being reset, but I think I have seen the answers for that in my 10+ hours of reading forums and blogs.)

A version of IE is included with Windows, and although you can make it hard to find, you can't actually remove it completely, or much of Windows would stop working correctly. I suggest not trying to root it out completely.
You might not need the ActiveX version of Flash if you do not use IE. But consider this: Some third party programs display HTML content (e.g., help and tutorials) using the hidden components of IE, and if those programs want to display Flash media, they will need the ActiveX version of Flash. So as long as it keeps itself up-to-date, I don't think there is much harm in keeping it around.
As for your mail program, the free mail program included with Windows XP was Outlook Express. It can retrieve mail from a wide variety of service providers and is pretty widely understood and supported. I'm not sure you want to lock yourself in to one particular provider's email program that might be harder to migrate to your next computer...

Why cant I see BOTH video tracks at the same time,I mean each track will create another layer,or exposure that will both play back viewable simultaneously right ?Or would that be considered "layering"?
Does this have anything to do with the source vs. destination thing ?

FCE plays back video tracks in a "top-down" manner: that is what's on track 3 obscures what's on track 2 which obscures what's on track 1. You can control scale, position and opacity of each clip on each track so that you can get the layering you seem to be after.

Can I have 2 different advanced actions on an object?

I was hoping someone can help me with this, I have a slide acting as a menu with 4 pages on it. Once a page is clicked it would take the user to the corresponding slide for that choice. I was wondering if I could apply an effect to that 'page' before it takes me to the new slide.
For instance, I was thinking that once the 'page' is clicked that it would zoom in to that 'page' and then go to the correct slide.
I don't know if this can be done with an advanced action or adding javascript.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You could do it with Advanced Actions (but it does get a little messy).
Place a transparent button over each menu item. Have each button pause near the start of each slide.
Create a standard action as below (you will also need to create a variable for each menu item - mine is called Zoom1 in the example):
This will trigger the zoom (you will probably want zoom size to be 100% for the initial size, then whatever your final size needs to be).
Create an advanced action like the one below:
You can have an action for each menu item/button in the one advanced action using the tabs under the Name field. What you're doing is saying if the button for an item has been pressed, jump to the specified slide for that item. In the slide properties, set the advanced action to run on the slide exit.
You will need to play around with the size and timings to allow the zoom to reach the end point at, or just before, the end of the slide, otherwise it jumps to the new slide as it's zooming.
There may be easier ways to do it that others here may suggest, but that's my intial idea - hope it helps.

You do not have to have an Apple TV, but you should have an AirPlay capable speaker on your network.

Why does my email template appear differently in various email programs?

I have created a CSS-style based email template using Dreamweaver CS6. The template looks great within Dreamweaver, on Internet Explorer and in Outlook 2003. However, when viewed in Outlook 2010, Hotmail and Gmail, the template is distorted. If I set my containers using pixel size, why would it be different when viewed in other email programs?

How can i set different number of iterations for different scenario profiles that we add to "AutoPilot" in load testing of OATS

Hi,
I have few set of load test scenarios, I would like to add each of these test scenarios to "AutoPilot" and run each different scenario profile at different number of iterations.
As in Oracle Load Testing the "Set Up AutoPilot" tab I see a section like this "Iterations played by each user: ", which says run these many iterations for every virtual user of all profile added under "Submitted Profile Scenario". So is there any thing like that to set different iterations for every scenario profile added in Autopilot.

It's not a built-in feature to override a page's styles on a tab-by-tab or site-by-site basis, but perhaps someone has created an add-on for this?
It also is possible to create style rules for particular sites and to apply them using either a userContent.css file or the Stylish extension. The Greasemonkey extension allows you to use JavaScript on a site-by-site basis, which provides further opportunity for customization. But these would take time and lots of testing to develop and perfect (and perfection might not be possible)...
Regarding size, does the zoom feature help solve that part? In case you aren't familiar with the keyboard and mouse shortcuts for quickly changing the zoom level on a page, this article might be useful: [[Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages]].

Status of SC set differently in System after Rejection!

We are working on SRM 5.0(Sp11),standalone scenario.
We are usng the n level SC approval workflow for SC(WS14000133).In addition we areusing the offline approval functionality for the SC approval.When testing the below mentioned scenario,i found some differences in the system behavious:
Scenario.
Created a SC with 1 item with total value $300.It went for approval to 1 approver who rejected it.(The approver has no authorization to change the SC while the requsitioner has).
1.When the SC is rejected via email(thorugh Outlook),the the status is set to "IN YOUR INBOX"(Header level) and "AWAITING APPROVAL"(Item level).Then the requester recieves another email (after the approver approves the SC) to accept the chnages and then the status in SRM is updated as "RELEASE REJECTED"(Header level) and "REJECTED"(Item level).
2.When the SC is rejected from SRM,the status is set to "IN YOUR INBOX"(Header level) and "REJECTED"(Item level) and the value of the cart is reset to "0".
Then when the requester (after the approver approves the SC) accepts the chnages in transaction CEHCK STATUS ,the status in SRM is updated as "RELEASE REJECTED"(Header level) and "REJECTED"(Item level) and also the price is set to the original value($300)
Can anyone confirm this behaviour?Why is the status of the SC set differently when rejected from Outlook and SRM?Also is the reset of the price standard behaviour?

what you describe is not the standard process: it is possible only for contracts (KBA 1860426 - Shopping Cart item has status "Cannot be ordered")
Do you have any specific developments?
Check OSS notes and also what's happened at runtime through break-point in /SAPSRM/CL_PDO_BO_RFQ /SAPSRM/IF_PDO_BO_RFQ~CHANGE_STATUS method from /SAPSRM/CL_PDO_BO_RFQ class.

Setting different editors in different cells in a single column

My approach to setting different editors like JTextField,JComboBox etc to different cells in a single column is not upto fully satisfactory. As compiling the same code lower than 1.5 gives error in that line. My approach is as follows:

Sorry, I forgot to mention the return statement if neither of the conditions r met in the if..else clause. I've written return (DefaultCellEditor)super.getCellEditor(). Now wats the difference in using super.getCellEditor() & super.getCellEditor(row,col). Excluding the setCellEditor(...) method is my code fine. I mean is it acceptable for other versions as I'm still confused with the return type that I have included instead of the required one... like DefaultCellEditor instead of TableCellEditor.

Why is the New FireFox so different to the previous version?.

Prior to upgrading if I brought up my FireFox page I had a header the same as my Google Page. The new/latest FireFox Page does not have the header with the options. Those options were,Images-Videos-Maps-News-Shopping-Mail and a More option with a drop-down menu. Why is this the case?.

I'll pass pass on the "why", although the reason given would be to improve Firefox by having a page that is on your system -- but the the content is not exactly on your system. I always find it amazing that there is anyone who uses the default home page, especially when Firefox has s builtin search bar. Even a couple of my friends who think the internet is their former ISP have there former ISP's page as their their home page.
To restore a Google search page you can replace your homepage with http://www.google.com then you will see those Google applications at the top of the window.

yes u can create the operation mode by using tcode rz04. the steps are:-
1) run the tcode :- rz04
2: select the operation mode then click on create instance (create ur instanace for eg :- day mode and night mode)
3)click on operation mode select the timetable then select normal operation(24 hr)->assign the modes (means select the time by double click and then right click on that select assign and give the mode eg:- day mode ) same way give another modes.Incase if there is any problem then please let me know.
4)go to back -> click on instance/operation mode ->select create new instance->give the host name & click on current setting and save it the diaglog window will appear give the operation mode name eg day mode then if you want to increase or decrease the work process by cliking on + and - tab u can change it after that save it the WP authorization some kind of this window will appear click on yes then new instance mode will appear give the instance name eg night mode then save it again dialog window will appear do changes in work process according to ur requriement and click on save again the same wp window will appear if u want to add more operation mode then click yes either no then save it . Now u will able to see ur all operation modes.

How to set different default interactive reports for different user groups?

I'm probably overlooking an obvious solution, but how do I set different default interactive report for different user groups?
For the same interactive report, I want one set of users to see a default where the default filter is based on column X. However, another group of users doesn't have authorization to see that column so I need to set the default filter to something else for them.

You can set a filter on a report in a URL - would that help? I think with apex 4.x you can also link to a saved default report or alternative report...
