Why do I see message "this Apple ID has not yet been used in iTunes Store when I try to download some free apps? Please let me know how to resolve this

I changed my dads password, then went back to sync my apps and when it came to the Authorization, I entered his account name and the new password (which was by the way accepted and changed correctly) to have it come up on the screen as the incorrect password...REALLY!!! I went back and changed the password again...guess what? Same result "inncorect password".
As I mentioned my dad PASSED AWAY, there is no way I can ask him what his password originally was, i can't accesses his email account as it no longer exists.
What am I supposed to do, this is very frustrating.
If I use my new account that's in my name, the Authorization screen just keeps asking for my Dads account. -
Error Message: This Apple ID has not yet been used with Itunes Store
I set up Apple ID. When I try to make purchase on Itunes Store, systems asks for Apple ID & Password. When I enter, I receive Error Message: This Apple ID has not yet been used with Itunes Store. Options to click Review Account or Cancel. When I click Review Account, it asks for my Apple ID & Password again and gives me the same Error Message. How do I make a purchase?
This isnt an error message as such, but it should give you the option to review and confirm your account details, which is necessary before you can use the account on that machine.

This Apple ID has not yet been used with itunes store
I get this error message when trying to redeem iTunes Voucher.
From iTunes on your computer, can you log into the iTunes store using that Apple ID? Perhaps you have to first log out if you have used some other ID there.

To use your Apple ID at the iTunes Store
Open the latest version of iTunes.
Choose Store > Sign In from the Store menu.
Enter your Apple ID and password, then click Sign In.
Click Review when asked to review your information.
Enter your billing information, a credit card will be required.
Click Continue when you're done entering your credit card and billing information.

Look at the options for payment methods. Is there an option that says "None?"

why when i want to download a free app from app store it asks for my apple id and when i give my apple id it then says "this apple id has not yet been used in the itunes store". i dont even know what that means and it will this happen everytime?
If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.

How am i supposed to use it for the first time if it wont let me go any further,it just sends me back to create a apple id page!!!!!You haven't opened an account with that Apple ID in iTunes. Open iTunes and log in. A dialog will appear in which you need to enter your Apple ID and/or password. Below it you should see a link for creating a new account. Click on that link to get started.
