As stated on the question I have windows 7 and meet all the requirements. But when i launch firefox It wont start, but it shows in task manager with 108k memory.

Got the exact same problem aswell, finally fed up with it now as i just started up firefox and 14 new windows opened because of this bug, luckily my computer can handle them but someone with a slower processor it would have been a nightmare, needs fixing ASAP.
Reverting back to 3.6.3 until this issue is solved. (link for anyone wanting to do the same below)

My Firefox has spontaneously (apparently) decided not to show the task bar at the bottom of the screen (the margin is there, but it is blank), and some menu bars have been messed up. Perhaps the most annoying aspect of these changes is the fact that I have to use alt-tab to move from a Firefox session to another session.
I can find no way to fix these problems. Can you help? Am I going to have to uninstall and re-install Firefox in order to get back to the default settings? If so, is there any way to preserve my bookmarks?

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).<br />
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.<br />
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.

Minimize to Icon in task bar with shell32.dll

is it possible to minimize a lv.exe file to the task bar with shell32.dll

windows get minimized to the taskbar automatically when you allow them
to be minimized and the user clicks the third icon from the top right,
or you can do it programmatically in newer LabVIEW versions by setting
the minimzed state. What this guy meant was that he wants to minimize
to the system tray which is a very different thing than the taskbar ;-)
I answered with two possible Toolkits in another thread to do this.
Doing it yourself with shell32 functionality is rather thirty work
since it involves callback functions and quite some infrastructure
around that to really work well. Nothing for someone not quite seasoned
in C programming.

first of all the iphone 4 is not a 4G phone
second it sounds like your iphone could be locked to another operator then the sim you have inserted

As sri said you'll have to write native code that uses the win32 API for the taskbar (NotifyIcon, see msdn.microsoft.com)

The following support article is somewhat outdated. Where it refers to booting from an installation disc, you should boot from your recovery partition (if running 10.7 or later) by holding down the key combination command-R at the chime.

Possible to hide JFrame yet show on task bar?

Hello All,
Is this possible? I would like to show the JFrame button on the taskbar, but not show the JFrame itself. This is because there is a JDialog to show, but if the user alternates windows, he is liable to lose the JDialog, unless he presses Alt-Tab, which many users may not know about. It would be preferable to have the application showing in the taskbar, but how to do it without showing the JFrame?

Why not just use a JFrame instead of a JDialog? That way it gets its own spot on the task bar, and it can contain all the same things a dialog can. If you have some special situation that prevents this solution, please elaborate on why you want an invisible main window with a visible dialog.

What version of windows do you have ?
The easiest way arround that is by pressing CTRL + ESC it will appear again if not check in the TASK MANAGER if the "explorer.exe" processus is running if not create a new task and make it run bro hehe if neither of this work going to the control panel and making it visible again is another choice good luck captain dplummer

Why is there a vertical scroll bar with short page export from FW CS4?

When I view my exported page that is 400 pixels tall, I see a vertical scroll bar on the right of my IE7 browser even though the page is no where near the bottom of the browser. How do I eliminate that scroll bar?

Unfortunately this is not working in IE7. Below is my body tag (I edited the SLICES.XTT to prevent the margins) where I've added the overflow option:

You could try this:
Apple menu / System Preferences / Network.
Here select Wi-Fi on the left, and click the Assist me... button on the bottom, then click Assistant.
Follow the directions on the screen.

Musical Logic Pro Task Bar with Apogee Ensemble

1.)Since I installed the Apogee Ensemble unit, a musical note sounds when I start up my MAC, when I press the Start or Stop button in Logic Studio, etc. What option do I need to reset to turn this off?
2.) When I use Input 1 on my Emagic AMT Midi interface unit and press any key on the external MIDI keyboard, the screen starts flashing until I select the close song option. What feature is causing this, and how can I turn it off?

This was due to a bad fader on my Mackie MCU Pro. I installed this at the same time as the Apogee unit. Mackie sent me a new fader, and once I replaced this both problems were resolved.

Why am i unable to sync ipad2 with latest itunes64 on Windows 7 64bit

Hello community,
I've used my Iphone 3GS with the latest ITunes64 on Windows 7 64bit with no problems. Sync works beautifully.
However, when I connect my recently purchased Ipad2, the Ipad is not detected, and hence sync is not possible.
Why would it fail to connect when my IPhone connects fine? I'm using the supplied hardware that came with the Ipad2 (running 4.3.3) to connect to no avail.
Your assistance will be much appreciated.

PS: My ITunes installation is under C:\Program Files (x86)\. Should this be a point of concern considering I used the Itunes64 installer, and my computer is 64bit?

Depending on the application you are printing from, you may need to press the Show Details button in the print dialog to see all of the additional driver menus.
The image below is for the extended print dialog of TextEdit and for a Canon MP990 printer. The Show Details button is on the bottom of the print dialog and will change to Hide Details when selected. And with the menu changed to Quality & Media, you have paper options and print quality settings.
