Why do i still see purchased albums ive DELETED on my music player?

why do i still see purchased albums ive DELETED on my music player? im still in disbelief at how bad the ios 7 update has been for the music player functionality. it's like they wiped it clean slate and hired a college intern to have a go at it, first try

and i take it you havent used the music player too music whilst trying to delete an album or add an album to a playlist for example...and then there's my current problem anyways which apparently doesnt exist. songs that arent even on the iphone still show even after hiding cloud-stored songs. like i say its set to manual in itunes. i delete the albums from itunes and sync it and then theres albums reading on my iphone in the itunes viewer that arent reading on my musoc player and vice versa. its not that i dont know how to do this - ive been doing this since the first ipods, and every model of iphone up to now. so its definitely quirky, but im hoping someone else has figured out some way to beat it from their own trial and error.

I have no way of re-downloading them in the UK!  My IPodtouch developed an error and needed to be re-initialised and I thought that synching would have kept copies on the PC.  No it didn't - I should have backed them up - Drat!!!!!!  Back to the mercy of the iTunes Store Customer Service I suppose.

If you didn't make a back-up of your music/movie purchases to restore from (as you are advised to do) then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Products may only be downloaded once; after being downloaded, they cannot be replaced if lost for any reason. Once a Product is purchased or rented (as applicable) and you receive the Product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the Product, and Apple shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage" iTunes Store: Purchased content can be downloaded only once
If you have an iPod that still has any of your purchases on it you'll find details in this article on how to transfer them to the computer: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
Purchased applications can be downloaded over again, see this article for details: How to redownload purchased applications from the App Store
Failing this, you could try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service and you might be able to persuade them to sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. If you click on this link it'll take you to the support/contact page: Customer Service - iTunes Store Support

• With my iPhone 5, when I delete a contact from my phone book, why can I still see it when I type in a name to select to text message?

If I delete a contact from my phone book, the number is still there when I go to type in a name to send a text message to, and is listed as 'other number'.
Can anyone please tell my why this is and how I can delete a number completely?
Thanks.

Th einformation is stored in cache memory on the phone.  The only way to get rid of it is to restore the phone as new and you will lose data and settings.  Eventually the cache will be overwritten so just ignore it

• I'v done the upgrade so why am I still seeing this: Your browser is out of date.

I have downloaded the current fire fox upgrade but my browser window still says that I'm out of date.

Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
* On Windows you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
* On Mac you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the option key while starting Firefox.
* On Linux you can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by quitting Firefox and then going to your Terminal and running: firefox -safe-mode (you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
* Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshooting extensions and themes article for that.
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.
Thank you.

• Why can I still see deleted contacts?

hi everyone,
I've noticed that I can see contacts that have been deleted (from all my devices and they do not appear in the Contacts on my Mac or on icloud.com) when I'm composing a Message (whether iMessage or SMS) as well as in the search screen.
For example, if friend AA has changed phone numbers and I delete the old one, both numbers (new and deleted old) will continue to come up!
Is that normal ?

There is no other way to permanently delete the deleted numbers. Only restore as new. If you don't want to do this, make a fake contact with the old number. Then sent a message to this old AND new number. Then delete the fake contact.  The deleted number will still remains in the cache memory of Messages App but you can recognize the old number to avoid sent messages to this number.

• I keep getting a notification to update to FF 33, but my log says it updated 2 days ago. Why am I still seeing multiple prompts to update?

I'm also having problems with screen freeze since updating Windows. It freezes intermittently and the fix is to close then re-open the browser and restore the tabs I had open . It happens at least twice daily. I even did a full system restore and it's still going on.

Hello,
Firefox 33.0.3 was released on Thursday last week, and Firefox 33.1 was released yesterday (celebrating Firefox's 10 year anniversary after reaching version 1.0). You can see the release notes for each version here:

• Why do I not see all album covers on my itouch?

I have iTouch 4, software version 5.1.1. Using iTunes 10, version 10.6.3.25 on Windows 7. Not all of the album covers are showing  on the iTouch; though the covers show in iTunes. It seems to be only the songs imported from CD; anything bought from iTunes store are fine. This just started. All covers have been showing until one of the recent iTunes or iTouch updates, not sure which. Help!

Great, but I have lots of playlists, will restoring from backup create those too?

• Can't purchase album or delete it from my Shopping Cart

I added The Kooks' "Inside In / Inside Out" to my cart, and iTunes wont let me buy it. Every time I click the "Buy Now" button it says "Your Shopping Cart's contents have changed" and offers to refresh it. The refresh does nothing. If I try to delete the album from my cart it gives me an error:
"Could not remove an item from your cart (1011). There was an error in the iTunes store. Please try again later."
Oddly enough, the price of the album is listed as $0.00, and I think the problem has something to do with the fact that album is being confused with the free "single of the week", which I already downloaded. I have tried quitting iTunes and rebooting.

Same problem here, but with an iPod game that I tried to purchase...
Here's a copy of the problem, as I described it in my email to Apple. Hopefully I'll get this sorted.
I recently added the new iPod Game "The Sims: Pool" to my Shopping Cart.
I then went to my Shopping Cart to buy and download the game I had just added.
When I looked at the item listed in my Cart, instead of the usual "BUY" button I would normally see next to the item, I can only see a "VIEW" button.
Clicking on the "VIEW" button gives me a message which says:
Your request could not be completed.
The item you've requested is not currently available in the UK Store.
This makes no sense as I was in the UK Store when I viewed the game and when I added it to my Shopping Cart. I was also logged into my iTunes Store Account, which I could only do if I was in the UK Store.
Further problems appear when I try and remove the game from my Shopping Cart, by clicking on the remove "X" button next to the listing.
Clicking on this gives me an error message which states:
Could not remove an item from your cart. An unknown error occurred (1011).
There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later.
I thought maybe this was just some "teething trouble", seeing as though "The Sims: Pool" has only just been released today, but I tried adding "The Sims: Bowling" to my Shopping Cart a short while afterwards and I am having exactly the same problems.
As a test, I even tried adding a couple of the very early iPod games, "Cubis" and "Zuma", but even those are, again, giving me the exact same problems. It seems I cannot purchase ANY game from the iTunes Store.
I have purchased several other games in the past however (8 to be exact), with no troubles.
Could you please assist me in this matter.
Thank-you.

• Why does instrument still play after wave is deleted?

In GB '11, I deleted a guitar track (aka real instrument) wave and upon playing the song back, the guitar part still played despite my deleting the wave. I either have to mute or delete the track to fix. Why is this happening?

If it is an IMAP account, try Mail/Preferences/Accounts/Mailbox Behaviors and un-check Store junk messages on the server.

• How do I exit or eliminate the album cover screen in the music player?

THe music app on iPhone6 has a screen with pictures of album covers of the music on the phone.  Once that screen appears how do I exit that screen to control the music?  Better eliminate that screen altogether as it seems useless.

In the View menu select Toolbars, then click on the names of the toolbars that you want to hide. You can also right-click on a toolbar and click on the name of the toolbar to toggle displaying it. Active toolbars will have a tick by their name.

• Album art size in 5800 music player

I am experimenting with album art in MP3's on my 5800.
It seems as though the displayed size of album art while the track is playing varies with the size of the original jpeg attached into the mp3 file. Anybody else find this or a solution?
For example if I use the 600x600 pixels art downloaded from the iTunes music store, the pictures come out tiny on the 5800 but if I change them to 500x500 in size then they come up a lot bigger.
Furthermore if I go to a track which is displaying tiny artwork when I play it, in the Music Library and select it and choose Album art in the menu, the artwork comes up a lot bigger, filling the screen !!!! So the 5800 can resize the artwork to fill the screen but then screws up the resizing when you play the track. Very annoying.
I am using v20 firmware. Not sure whether this is an issue in previous firmware versions.

I figured it out, look here http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum/showthread.php?t=82694

from some reason (i'm not sure why..) my whole iphoto library got deleted. I restored the whole library from my backup. Now all the photos are blank but steel have the photo info. (date, res., size etc.) Do you know what's the prob.? why can't i see my pics.

It's says that file does not exist. How come? And why does it still show the image info.?
Where can i find those files (i have a daily backup)
The original image files are missing form your iPhoto library or iPhoto cannot find them, because the link to the originals has been broken. The image info is stored in the internal libraries, independent of the original files. That is, why you are still seeing them.
I restored the whole library from my backup.
Try restoring from an older backup, from before you first noticed the problem.
How large is the library, that you restored? Is the file size large enough to hold all your photos, or has the size been reduced?  If the library is still large, the photos may still be inside, even if iPhoto cannot find them.
It's says that file does not exist. How come?
What happened, before your iPhoto library got deleted? Which applications have you been running, or which new software have installed or upgraded?  Have you moved the library to a different disk or tried to use it from different user account or access it over the network?
