Why do iPhone mobile #'s from contacts come unlinked?

For the 3rd time in 4 weeks all my contacts that have an iphone number have become deleted from contacts.
Soooooo, what would cause all my contacts iPhone mobile numbers (categorized as iPhone, not mobile) to disappear, all of them?!?!?!?! I got some back by looking at recent calls, the numbers were there (no names), but not linked to the original contact.

I'm syncing with MobileMe/iMac(3 mos. old) along with iTunes, the way I've been doing for years..... this all started right around the time I downloaded Lion X. I don't use an exchange. It's very random, they're fine for 4 or 5 days and then they just dissappear. Literally, I'll be texting and they're there,then the next time I text it's just phone numbers, no names, and deleted from the specific contacts. Never happens to reagular mobile #'s, just the ones classified as an iPhone #'s

Unable to change my mobile phone from contacts to ...

I have tried on many occasions to save my mobile phone number from contacts to public..It will not change to public and wondering why.

I confirm that I can replicate this issue. Namely:
In the Skype Application:
'SMS Settings -> verify your mobile phone number' will send a verification code which will be received by the phone (Carrier: NTT Docomo).
The received code will work in Skype. Confirmation message: "The code worked, your mobile number has been verified. However, the phone number will not appear in the drop down list.
On the Skype Profile page:
Clicking 'Verify my number' raises error: an internal error occurred.
When selecting 'Caller ID', Japan (and Mexico) are not displayed in the drop down list.
Skype Technical support and I troubleshot (troubleshooted?) including deleting the shared.xml file. However, this did not fix. We concluded that this is a problem with specific carriers. No ETA on fix.
Hopefully this helps you not waste your time and, if you plan on coming to Japan, arrange alternatives.

Why don't messages deliver from Contact form

I have just concluded moving a WordPress website from the /blog (www. kenapexvision. com/blog) sub directory back to the root directory (www. kenapexvision. com) of the site. Before now, I had built the contact form using Dreamweaver (spry validation). I adjusted the positioning of the fields for better page display from WordPress dashboard and cleaned up the "hints" and "spry validation" messages since they won't work on WordPress and then I set it up using formmail.php script. I also used a "thank you" page in the (formmail.php) script which I had hidden using "PC Hide page" plugin.
Everything worked perfectly fine while the site was in the /blog sub folder until I moved all the content of the /blog folder to the root direct. Now every other thing is working perfectly fine - the pages and all other links, including display of the "thank you" page - after comment submission. However the message doesn't deliver to the email addresses set up in the formmail.php script.
Please what could be the reason for this? I could use a contact form plugin as suggested by someone, but I want to use this method (formmail script) until I fully understand how the contact form plugins work.
Please I need an urgent assistance on what could be the reason why messages aren't delivering from the contact form and how I could correct it.

If you have wi-fi you already have an Access Point, either as a separate box or (more likely) as part of your router. Go into your router's administration to see what kind of security you're using. If you're using WEP, which is an older technology that is not very secure, your router may very likely provide WPA2 as an option. If so, try using that along with a new passcode for the network. You'll likely have to "forget the network" on your device and then re-connect and re-enter your new passcode.

Taking iphone 6s plus from tmobile to Boost mobile

It sounds like your Contacts app seems to be losing your contacts phone numbers, but the rest of the information is fine. If you don't already have a backup, I would create one either with iCloud or iTunes, or even both:
Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you use iCloud I would use these steps from the following article:
Get help using iCloud Contacts
See if a contact is stored with iCloud or another service, such as Google or Yahoo:
Open Contacts and tap Groups in the upper-left corner.
Deselect the All [account] option for any third-party, such as Gmail or Yahoo.
Make sure All iCloud is selected.
View your contacts. If the contact isn't visible, then it exists in a third-party account.
You can import the contact from a third-party service into iCloud. iCloud won't sync contacts that are associated with a different service.
You need to make sure that iCloud is your default account for Contacts:
If you want new contacts to appear automatically on your devices.
If you're syncing contacts with multiple accounts on your device (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo) and recent changes to Contacts on your iOS device don't appear on your other devices.
See if iCloud is your default account:
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
In the Contacts section, tap Default Account.
Make sure iCloud is selected.
Restart Contacts
Close and restart the Contacts app on your iOS device:
iOS 7:
Double-click the Home button to see your open apps.
Find the Contacts preview screen and swipe it up to close the app.

If not, I would start by quitting all the running apps on your phone:

It's a good idea to backup your Mac Address Book application and iCal Calendars application from each application. This way you can go back and pull out items if you lose something. I do this everyday.

In few months it had a problem with its home key. I took the phone to service service center and they told me that your phone is having hardware problem and as the phone is under warranty cannot be replace in India. You can come back when this is out of warranty. Now few days back when i walk again to the service center they stated that this phone we cannot repair here in India because of this phone purchased from US.
This a total disgraceful service from such a big brand like apple.

No iPhone has a international warranty. Warranty is valid only in
country of original purchase. Since iPhone was bought in the US,
you must return the iPhone to the US. That means you must personally bring
the iPhone to Apple in the US or send it to a friend/relative in the US for them
to take to Apple. After replacement, your friend can ship it back to you. Shipping
and insurance costs are your responsibility.
Apple does not accept international shipments for evaluation/repair
and will not ship replacements out of the country.

If what you want to do is share your purchases with one Apple ID and have other stuff separate, that's pretty easy.
Check out the section "Use one Apple ID for iCloud and a different Apple ID for Store purchases" in this article.
Set up your Apple ID for iCloud and iTunes - Apple Support
Basically he would use your Apple ID for the Stores (iTunes, Apps, iBooks) and his Apple ID for everything else (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, FaceTime, Messages etc).
Now if he has been purchasing stuff on his own account then you would have to make some choices on the purchase accounts.
You may also want to check out Family Sharing, which allows people to share purchases within a familly, each having their own IDs.

Hi macmac57. I don't memorize my numbers anymore, so I know how important it is to have all your contacts on your phone at all times. Did an update occur or a new application download when your contacts disappeared? Have you been backing up your device with your computer?
