Why do multipack gift cards not all activate upon purchase?

I purchased a multi pack of itunes cards at the grocery store. I know two of the cards worked, but one of them failed to activate. I spoke with the store, they say when the item is scanned all the cards should activate. In this case, they did not. Now, I am out 15 dollars, because I no longer have the receipt from the grocery store from Christmas. Should not all the cards activate? If all the cards are in a package from Apple, should Apple not have a record and be able to activate the card that failed to activate? I do not understand why itunes gift cards should come with a Buyer Beware warning.

No, I am a US citizen living overseas, but I am going through a VPN and I am using a US-based credit card. I have no problem purchasing apps, just purchasing gift certificates. I'm going to try gifting the app to the person I am purchasing for until Apple straightens this out for me.

Are you able to take it back to the shop that you bought it from and ask them to activate it properly ? Sorry, I must have missed your last response, but can you calrify what feature do you want to use in FormsCentral? There are email receipts and email notifications. If you want the user to receive a copy of the date he entered in the form, then the user needs to enter an email address in the form and submit the form, but if you want the user to receive all responses he and others submit to a form, then it's email notification. It sounds like email receipts in your case. For email receipts to work, you need to have an email field in your form and set up Email Receipts in the options tab, by selecting the email field in the "To:" field.

What happens when you try to do the IAP, are you getting any error messages ?

If you have a gift card balance, iTunes will use that.
If the total is more than that, the difference will be charged to your credit card.
You need do nothing.

Sorry, but as KP guessed, Apple will not exchange the card, and you are correct that you can't use a US iTunes card in Canada. You will need to give or sell it to someone in the US.
