Why do my alarms no longer work?

I am not getting my alarms for events. Noticed this about two months ago.
Has there been a problem with anyone else?

Upon further investigation, I found that my preference had changed itself to not show the date on the event which also turns of alarms. I have not set iCal prefs myself since beginning to use it years ago.
I have a few other apps change prefs recently.
Not sure why prefs change themselves. Could be bi-product of the software update changes.
But this problem is solved --- I hope.

Have you tried connecting to your computer and sync using iTunes? If it will sync that way, the means the problem is the wireless sync. One step in the troubleshooting process. You also might want to consider posting here.

Here are some suggestions for getting the best results from this site.

Why are my actions no longer working?

I can't understand, trace, or figure out why (haven't made any significant changes lately to my system, app, etc.), but my PSD actions (specifically, ones from PSDCovers.com to do book mockups) are no longer working. When I run Step 2 of the action, it doesn't rotate and align the cover correctly. I've tried everything, and I can't figure out why, or how this happened?

Why does my ipod no longer work with my alpine car stereo

my ipod connects directly to my alpine car stereo and up til now it has worked great. i recently synced my ipod to my computer and i think it updated the software on my ipod and now my ipod no longer works with my alpine stereo. what is up? did apple change something that would make my ipod no longer compatible with my car stereo? if so, what do i do? i have about $1000 invested in my car stereo and ipod specifically for car use. this is a serious issue for me! i just want my ipod to work like it did…
i just connected my friends ipod and it works fine. he has version 1.1.1 software on his. i have version 2.3 on mine. since my ipod works fine by itself i’m assuming that the incompatibility between my ipod and my alpine is due to the software update.
here again, what do i do? how can i get an older version of software back on to my ipod?

what kind of connection do you have? do you use the ipod 30 pin cable that connects directly to the head unit? it so, maybe you could get help on the alpine site, or a similar site?it could just be a bad connection. you may just have to go oldschool and use rca cables and plug those in...

Why does my button no longer work in Flash Player 8?

I have built a site in Flash MX a while ago. Now I’d
like to upgrade things a bit while testing the new Adobe Flash CS3.
To be able to use a new function (“anti-alias for
readability”) the program warns me that “this feature
is not supported by Flash Player 6. To use this feature, you must
target Flash player 8.”
So I change the setting to Flash Player 8, leaving
Actionscript to version 2.0.
However, now one of my main menu buttons no longer works!
When I change settings back to Flash Player 6, things are fine
again. What am I overlooking?

name). Does anything change with the actionscript in CS3?

Why does my slingbox no longer work on my firefox?

my slingbox no longer works, even though the slingbox site says it works with firefox 4 or above.

Because the new iMac don't have an IR receiver for the for the remote.

Why does 'Interpret Fields' no longer work in Premiere CS4?

Although I have moved on personally, my office still uses CS4. For some reason the interpret fields function no longer works, so all my interlaced footage has to be made progrssive to output it!!
If I load an interlaced clip into the source and view it at 100%, then mess around with the interlacing options...NOTHING HAPPENS!
I am at my wits end, Adobe no longer support CS4 and re-install didn't help at all.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I'd already trashed the prefs (in fact I printed them off, ripped them up and burned them for good measure!)
Media & databases also binned.
I was thinking it may be a corrupt dll or plugin somewhere, but no idea which one might handle the interlacing?

IPad alarm no longer working properly

I have an iPad and have been having problems with alarms for severall months now. I have a few different alarms set for different reasons and the first one to go off in the morning is sometimes 4 minutes late and sometimes as long as 30 minutes late.
I tried also using different apps, reinstalling, restoring from backup and deleting all alarms and resetting new ones.
Nothing works. Once the ipad is in use, though, during the day, the alarms work ok. It is when in sleep mode in the night that it fails. It used to work for the last year or two during the night, so I am not sure what has happened.
Has anyone had this problem on the ipad or know of a solution?

Why does Google voice no longer works in Firefox after adding addtional credit but does in Safari?

I am using Mac OS 10.10 with FireFox 30.0.2 as my browser. I was making calls OK on Goggle Voice through my G-Mail account. when I ran out of credit. I loaded additional credit and tried to resume calling. However, I kept get getting the following error message "Please download the voice plugin to make a call". Following the provided link lead me into a blind ally. Tried downloading a voice plugin and reinstalling, but no luck. Tried closing Firefox and reopening, but again no luck. There are no problems when using Safari as my browser. calls go through just fine.
Can't figure out why it worked just fine and thenstopped after laoding addtional credit.

Try clearing your cookies and cache and then try signing in again.

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Make sure that you are allowing the plugin on the site as maybe somehow it got changed.
Globally:
* Tools (or [[Image: New Fx Menu]]) > Add-ons > Plugins
* For Google Talk Plugin (and Video Renderer), make sure it is set to "Always Activate" or "Ask to Activate"
Per Site basis:
* On the site, click on the padlock or the globe icon to the left of the web address on the address bar and click "More Information".
** Or go to: Tools > Page Info
* Click the "Permissions" tab to see whether the plugin is activated on the site.
* Note: You can also go to the '''about:permissions''' page and look at your permissions set for every site

the apple TV has so many bugs its unbeleivable when are apple going to get there act back together and save their reputation, becuase right now its going down hill fast. I am leaving the apple family next time i need to buy hard ware it wont be apple, the cost is too high and th quality is no longer there!!!

Unfortunately I think you will struggle to find the solution to your problem, as you are most likely looking in the wrong area.
I spend many hours reading about and testing things on the Apple TV, there are a couple of bugs I'm aware of, but when it comes down to networking the only bugs I see discussed are from a small minority who seem to have difficulty excepting the situation. Ask yourself this, if there is a bug, why does it not affect everyone using the same hardware with the same software.
If you have doubts, take your Apple TV and your mobile device to an Apple Store (or even a friends house, but the Apple Store would be a more controlled environment) and check it out.

I've updated to iOS7 and now don't receive most calls AND my alarm no longer works.

Since I updated to iOS7 a few days ago I have two unusual problems:
1. My alarm keeps resetting to a different, very quiet, sound which doesn't waken me. I've always used "Strum" and I've set that ringtone several times in the new system but it doesn't play the alarm (although it will play it loud and clear when I'm setting it.)
2. I'll be holding my phone and look down only to see that I've missed a call, text, and/or voice mail. I've set the phone so the Do Not Disturb is off, the vibrate on ring and vibrate on silent are both on, the ringtone, text tone and new voicemail settings are set,and the volume is up. I use my phone for work and so my family can reach me when I'm at work so this obviously is not good. I missed over a dozen calls and another 7 or 8 text messages today. Sometimes a call or text will come through like they used to with iOS6 but most of the time they will not. This does not change whether I have my Bluetooth earpiece in or not.
And advice will be appreciated otherwise I'll be forced to purchase another type of phone.

Why is Siri Assistant no longer working on my 3gs?

I downloaded and used Siri Assistant on my iPhone 3gs for about a year. Loved it. Now, the app still starts, but continually says there is no network connection available? Has Apple stopped supporting the stand alone version just because they have now included it in the 4gs?
Also, does the 4gs have file send capability via Bluetooth yet, and if not, what are we supposed to do with synching our contact and phone information into our Prius?
Only way I have found so far is to copy my Outlook contact list into my old Sony Ericson phone and synch it with the Prius. That worked from day one, and sure beats the heck out of trying to enter each and every contact one key at a time.

The Siri app was not made by Apple. It was made by a company that Apple later bought. Once that company ceased to exist, the app and the servers required to run it were no longer supported.
