Why do my apps not update when I try to update them

I regularly receive notifications that updates are available to my apps but it does not seem to matter what I try, the apps are not updated. I have tryid to updae via direct download to the IPad and by synchonizing my IPad with iTunes but neither is successful.

Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > login and change Country/Region.

Maybe the apps are not compatible with iOS 5. Some other users have discoverd that incompatibility.

That's probably because they're not registered.
Messages only works if your friend has an iphone.
There is a workaround that can work, though.
set up an AIM account online.
in System preferences > mail, contacts, and calendars, enter your new AIM account.
in Contacts, on your friend's contact card, look for AIM. Enter their phone number right before that, with a +1 before it, and the area code: i.e., +11234567899.
This doesn't always work. Their cellular carrier has to cooperate with AIM. Some do, some don't. If it doesn't work, tell your friend to get an iPhone.

That's just not right - I mean, it really wrong to have to use a Windows machine to access your Facebook account. Can you pull up Comcast on IE as well?
Something's going on and I'm surprised that deleting your cache and cookies for those sites didn't work.

If you have Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion set 'off' then you will need to use a higher resolution version of your pictures, otherwise the parallax effect will zoom in.

When the parallax effect is on, you may notice the following:
Wallpaper, icons, and alerts shift slightly as you move your phone.
When you set a wallpaper in Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness, the photo or image will be slightly zoomed and can't be scaled to fit the screen.
If you zoom in, you will need to rescale your wallpaper to fit to the screen. You can't rescale certain photo formats, including landscape or square images.

Why are my files not enabled when I try to file place?

I'm running Mac OSX Lion 10.7.3. When I try to "place" a file in a document, the files are greyed out in Finder's window. Each time, I have to choose "Enable all readable documents" in bottom of my finder window to make them available.
PS 5, by default, showed them as enabled. Can anyone HELP?

Unless you're using iTunes on your computer to update, you should update only one app at a time. If you have a bunch of apps in "Waiting" state, click all them to get them to "Paused". Then, one at a time, click one to get it to Downloading, then Installing, and finally Open. Then repeat on the next app, etc.

Why is the app not updating automatically with NEW APP

I've subscribed to a few podcasts but they won't update automatically and in some cases it won't find the podcast in question.
I can find the podcast in iTunes and it says I'm subscribed but it doesn't want to down load or has issues with the buttons on the screen so I can't press the down load button. Please help.

if you can connect to btwifi without the app then I wouldn't bother trying to find the apk file
if you have an android smartphone then you can download the app and get the apk file to sideload on to your nook

Only preinstalled apps work now, how do I get to use my other apps again? I have 3GS with newest update but all of my itunes apps crash directly when I try to launch them. Reboot doesnt work, email wasnt loading before this issue so I reset now this.

My phone is not jailbroken and I have had no problems until now. I updated the firmware a few weeks ago with no problem. I noticed yesterday I wasnt getting all of my emails because I get some of the same emails on multiple accounts and they were not showing up. The refresh pinwheel just kept spinning but I did not think much of the problem because there is not good service in the building and plus I hava a number from the east coast but since I'm on the West coast I get subpar service comparred with the local number people, is this true? Anyways I got home and my email would still not ever finish loading so I turned the phone off but it wouldnt turn off. After 15 miniutes the shutdown pinwheel just kept spinning so then I did a hard reboot and it quickly shut down. I started it back and my email works now but none of the apps from the app store work.

Go to your App Store application and under the Featured section, scroll all the way to the bottom and tap on you account. Sign out of the account, then sign back in from the same section. Download a free application (any free app should do the trick) and that should make all of your apps work again.

i have a macbook that was resantly upgrade we running Yosemite 10.9 OS and the external hard drive is fairly current brand name WD capacity 500GB with 147GB free lots of its contents are QuickTime Player videos that will like to open some other media is available in different format and is working properly, i have download a more current version of QuickTime Player and it sound better at list sound like it is going to star playing but it don't... so please if some one can help me with some answers will be real appreciate , thank you kindly looking forward to hear from you is my first time asking questions about apple it feels a bit like a shoot in the dark !

for use with Mac OS X, or is it set up for use solely with a Windows format?
If you copy one of the QuickTime files into a folder, in your computer and try
to run it from there, does it work at that point? It may not. Could be the drive
you borrowed from a friend has some other issue; perhaps creator account
and permissions may also be limited by how the content was added there.
There is way too much missing information for me to guess, but I wonder about
how the hardware was set up and if the files are actually available to your Mac.
The QuickTime support page itself should be a portal to more information...

searchable. Sometimes the database is hard to find exact articles or topics, though.

Files not showing when i try to open them in Adobe apps or Dreamweaver

I recently switched to Mac and currently have two machines, one at home and one at work. I noticed a few days ago while working on my mac at home that when opening files in photoshop or dreamweaver, files and folders were not showing, and i was only able to open them through the finder... i thought it might have been a problem with the portable USB hard drive, but the drive works perfect in my computer at work. Now, two days later im having the same problem with the mac at work, but this time accessing files in a network drive that we all share.
The number one problem I have is that while working in dreamweaver when placing an image in my HTML, i cannot see the file when looking for it.
Seems like the files in the finder are cached and only certain ones are displayed....
Any ideas? HELP!

Sorry, yes this is Microsoft Excel. The Microsoft XP has Excel files denoted as xl, the later versions of Microsoft Excel are denoted as xls files. The later verions of Microsoft Excel open the xl files OK, does Excel for Mac not able to do this?

Apps get stucked when i try to delete them?

Whenever i try to delete an app by holding the icon and waiting for the apps to start jiggle then hit the X button, it does nothing but get stuck. After a while it gets back to normal and the app is still there. I know i can delete them by going in Settings - Usage and look for the app but that's not the point. I've never had this problem. It started when i updated my software to 5.0. It ****** me off cuz most of the games are still in Game Center can't get rid of them and whenever i redownload them it takes me back where i have left off. Any ideas?
