Kind regards,
Steven

I have the same issue.
I have my username(@me.com)@icloud.com plus the current 3 aliases + 4 old aliases from MobileMe.
So 16 possible email directions ?¿ I cannot see these 4 old aliases nowhere except on friends preferencies.
Can be removed somwhere?

you nees to make sure you are selecting everythin that you want on the iPad even things that are already on the iPad, if not it will remove anything not checked in iTunes.

So, have you created an iCloud account and is your device connected to iCloud?

To avoid confusion and merging data... it's always suggested that each person have their own apple id.

  • Find my friends app works differently now with iOS 8.  I delete messages and am constantly being asked to share location....no "always share" option....

In previous iOS I shared my location with "my friends" one time, permanently in the Find My Friends app.  Now, I am being asked to share over and over--I delete messages in iMessage all the time.  I want to share my location with my friends one time, permanently.  Is this possible?

I seem to have a similar problem.  I share my location with User-A via Find My Friends.  I have a conversation with User-A via Messages.  I delete the conversation with User-A in Messages.  Suddenly, User-A no longer has permission to follow me via Find My Friends.
I prefer to keep my message history in Messages clean, but do not want to revoke other users' permissions to follow me in Find My Friends each time I delete Messages conversations.
Is this a bug or intended?  Either way, is there a workaround or solution, other than having A) having to keep all message history or B) constantly remember to grant users permission to follow me in Find My Friends over and over again?

  • Why do deleted files still appear in Finder

Even after i move the files to Trash and empty the trash, the files still appear in finder. If I click on them I get some message indicating they aren't there or can't be found, but how do i get deleted files not to appear in finder. If I deleted them to clean up my docs, i don't want them anymore. It gets harder to clean up files when i keep seeing the files i already cleaned out and put to trash.

    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
You can only delete those files which you create yourself. If these are system files you are trying to trash, you'll need special permissions to delete them. Be careful though, if you trash the wrong files, you'll leave your system nonfunctional.
My software Force Empty Trash, or the competitor, Mac OS X Cocktail both can trash files created on the boot hard drive and override the permissions that may lock those files from deletion. Cocktail can trash more than my software can. But I would only use it for trashing stuff, and not cache cleanup, nor any other tool, without consulting a Mac expert. Cache cleanup of system cache can be very dangerous, and cause applications not to be able to launch anymore, including system applications. The link to my software*:

I also have reference there to where you can get Cocktail.

  • Could I still use the "find my mac"-app if I downgraded from OSX Lion to Snow Leopard?

In the beginning of 2012, I had the great misfortune of getting robbed and all my recording equipment was stolen, including my macbook pro 17" running on OSX Snow Leopard.  I was able to buy a new macbook, same as the old one, but with the OSX Lion.  It didn't take long before I noticed that it wasn't running as smooth as the previous OSX.  At first I thougt it was the hardware; Steve Jobs had just died and I thought the people at Apple felt like they could finally ditch the high standards that were once enforced upon them and go Windows on our *****.  But I soon learned it was the software.  After re-purchasing my recording-software and trying and failing to install it, time after time, I got to a point where I just wanted to smash the whole thing and throw it out the window...  Fortunately I managed to get a hold of myself.  Now, I still want to get rid of the osx Lion and downgrade, but I don't want to have my stuff stolen again at some point and then find out that not only will Apple not pay out the insurance I payed for, but also I can't find my macbook anywhere, because I don't have this stupid application anymore because I downgraded.  So, I was wondering if there's any chance to have the best of both worlds. (or the best of one world and then just the other/previous world)  The only thing that's good about Lion is the "find my mac"-app.  All the rest utterly ***** ***!!
    Sincerelly,
    a very disgruntled mac-user.

"Find my Mac" is an OS X Lion feature and is not available in Snow Leopard. So if you want Find My Mac in yor MacBook Pro you'll be stuck to OS X Lion.
I don't know what else to tell you other than consider buying Lo-Jack for laptops.
    Hope this helps!

  • I already reset the phone but it is still showing on find my iphone app

I know all about the icloud activation thing. so when I sold an iphone 5, I did a reset all content and settings.  What I dont understand is, it is still on my find my iphone application.  Does this mean if the new owner reset her iPhone, it will go to activation and ask for my password again?  If the new owner sets up her icloud account on the iPhone 5, then the iphone is now registered to 2 icloud accounts?

Sign in on www.icloud.com, choose the find my iPhone icon, locate the phone, choose remote wipe, then remove the device from your account.  That will prevent the activation lock from enabling on the person you sold the phone to.

  • Data from deleted accounts still exist in ~/Library

An Exchange mail account (EWS) that I had deleted from my Mail app is still hogging ~500MB of space in the "~/Library/Mail/V2" folder! Since the account no longer exists, can I safely delete the particular "EWS-<emailID>" folder? Why was it not deleted?
There is another POP3 account that I deleted, which again resides in the above folder as "POP-<emailID>"!
Is it safe to delete the folders myself?
    Thanks,
    Anup

Open up the system preferences and look at the "Mail, Contacts, & Calendars" tab. See if the accounts might be listed there also. If so, delete them from there also.
Since you have a TM backup, just delete the accounts from your home library. If things go wrong, you can restore the Mail folder from the latest TM backup.
In Addition: I created a test account in Mail. Then deleted the account in the Mail application. The account remained in the Home Library Mail folder. I just manually deleted that account.

  • Deleted queries still exist with B version

    Dear Gurus,
I am currently doing housekeeping of old reports deletion.I have deleted the 20 queries from D and transported to Q system.
In RSRREPDIR of D system, the table is blank.
However when I check RSRREPDIR in Q system, it is showing the 20 queries but OBJVERS = B. A or M Version has been successfully deleted, but only B still remains.
What I do not understand is, why in Dev system the table does not have OBJVERS = B (I would assume the deletion has deleted A,M,B version) but why when transported over to Q system, the A & M version of the queries has been deleted successfully except B version. Why is that so?
    So my question is :-
1.) How do I delete the B version of reports in Q? (Open system is not an option)
2.) What can I do to ensure the Actual Cutover will have B version deleted as well (A,B,M)
3.) Why is there a B version report? Apart from due to BI7 query conversion, any other reason?
    Thanks a lot !

    Hi,
1.) How do I delete the B version of reports in Q? (Open system is not an option)
Use the T code RSZDELETE,  Choose the object version as 'B', it will delete all the queries which are saved as backup.
Before that implement the correction program in the function module RSZ_X_COMPONENT_DELETE. The correction program is given in the SAp note 1097674
2.) What can I do to ensure the Actual Cutover will have B version deleted as well (A,B,M)
you can check in the same table RSRREPDIR with B as selection
3.) Why is there a B version report? Apart from due to BI7 query conversion, any other reason?
B version is a back up version.  For example, you have created a query in 3.x features and changed in 7.0 query designer so generally this can't be opened in 3.x query designer. But if you wanted to do same, you can overwrite the current version of the query with back version so that it can be opened in 3.x query designer, you will loose all the changes done with 7.0 designer.

  • Why does my deleted songs still remain?

My darling wife has downlaoded some songs from iT, and to say that I haste them is an underestimate!!
What I have done is deleted them from iT and synced my iphone 5 with the 'only checked songs and vidoes' ticked, so surley the songs that I have checked should be on my iphone!
I do use iC, but surely when I sync my phone on my mac, the songs that I have checked to be on my phone should be on my phone.
Hopefully I have not confused you....
    Thanks in advance.
    xx

Why would you buy them again?
Do you fail to backup your purchases?

  • How do I delete an old iPad in "Find My Phone" app??

Got a new iPad and gave the old one to my hubby. Reset all old settings and gave it to him with the factory settings. Today, I was making sure the new iPad worked with Find my Phone and the default iPad listed was the old iPad 2. How do I delete it so that the iPad 3 is the only one showing and my husband can use his Apple ID on the old one?

You sir, are a scholar and a gentleman. I had been holding it to try to get the delete key to come up. Should have known it was a swipe!! Thanks so much

  • If my iCloud storage is full can I still use the "Find my iPhone" app?

Basically I lost my phone. When using the app I tried to play the sound and I cannot hear it. The location says its at my house but my iCloud has been full and I didn't know if the location has been updated. Urghh so frustrating!! Does the phone update the location regardless of iCloud storage amount? Also if the battery is dead will This work??

iCloud storage has nothing to do with using Find My Phone.
If your battery is dead, other than physically looking for your phone, there's no way to locate it.
