Why do my photos appear green?

I recently synced some new photos and quickly realized that although my TV appears to be working just fine and the images, as seen on my computer, appear to be fine, all the images I am seeing through Apple TV appear "green."
Any idea why this might have occurred?

the output of 2 diff set monitors or tvs never look 100% the same
but if you use component and got loose connectors that would cause a greenness though

  • Why do my photos appear as an exclamation mark when i open them?

    Why do my photos appear as an exclamation mark when I open them?
    I used my time machine back up from my old expired power mac and uploaded the contents onto my new iMac.
    All of the files uploaded successfully as far as I can see (except the old programs don't work and the consequently all those files are cactus :-( )however when I opened iPhoto only a few photos (500) where in some of the folders.
    I went back and found the photos in the back up machine (25000) and dumped them on the iPhoto icon. They down loaded successfully into the correct folders and the thumbprints are visible. When I click on an individual photo the enlarged picture appears for an instant and then an explanation mark in a triangle appears in its place.
    The original 500 pics actual worked... now after days of mucking around and with lots of advice I have doubled the number of 'photos' to 50000!!! Ahh,,,, and still the exclamation mark appears
    Is there anyway out of this predicament??

    Never import one Library to another. Every version and thumbnail is imported like a distinct photo, you lose all your Albums, Keywords etc., the link between Original and Previews is destroyed, the non-destructive editing feature is ruined and so on. In summary: it's mess.
    The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the link to the original photo.
    I would suggest that you restore that library from Time Machine again, and then try repair it.
    Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
    This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
    Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

  • Why do my photos appear in other users accounts?

    I have multiple users on my computer (I set up one for each of my 3 kids).  When they open iphoto in their user account, why do all of my photos appear?
    My photos are stored under my user account (not in the shared folder).
    How do I keep my files private?
    How do I allow for my kids to create their own photo collection with their own imports in the iphoto application?

    This is something you may be albe to do with Parental Controls, but not one that I know a lot about. I'd post that on the Using Mac OS X forum.

  • Explanation sought: why do alternate photos appear with top/bottom border in full screen view?

    I've moved over to Photos - no especial problems to report.
    But I'd be very glad if anyone can explain why, in full screen view, some photos appear as smaller than others. That is, some photos appear with larger black borders to the sides and about half a centimetre of black border top and bottom. Normally photos go to the edge of screen top and bottom - which is as you'd hope, so you can see the maximum amount of detail.
    It happens with portrait and landscape format. So far as I can work out, the pattern is that one photo will display in full screen, then the next one not, flip-flopping back and forth. Apart from wasting screen space, this makes it harder to (e.g) HDR and normal versions of the same shot. Is anyone experiencing the same, or got any ideas what could be going on, or even better, how to stop this?
    For clarity: I am looking at photos taken in the past few days on an iPhone 5s.

    Old Toad asserts  "This [border problems] is new territory"
    With all due respect, Old Toad, this problem was extensively documented (with examples) in the question of April 22: "screen aspect ratio is wrong in Photos slideshows".

    Indeed, you yourself were one of the commenters on that thread.
    Present status At the present time, no fix or workaround is known for border-related issues in Photos.

  • Why do some photos appear white or partly white?

    I have several thousand photos and i want them all to be available on my iPad.
    After syncing several of them are partly or completely white some with only a narrow band of the photo appearing at the top.

    What videos? You may be viewing some very low-resolution videos.

  • Why does a photo appear as a thumbnail, but goes black when selected to view in full?

    I recently downloaded about 25 photos on my MacBook Pro with OS – X 10.9.4. Five of the photos appear as thumbnails, but when I select them to show in full screen, screen is black. When I move the thumbnail photo to downloads and call the photo up, it showed that there is no data. This is the first time I've experienced this problem, and I've downloaded hundreds of pictures with his camera. What gives?

    Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
    Look there for a Folder called 'Import' or 'Importing'.
    Drag it to the Desktop. *Make no other changes*.
    Start iPhoto. Does that help?
    If it does then look inside that folder on your desktop. Does it contain anything you want? If not you can trash the folder.

  • Why do my photos  appear blurry unless i'm online?

    SO all of my photos appear blurry or low quality and  they all have a small circle in the right hand corner as if it has to download them from somewhere. the only way they show the proper resolution is when i'm connected to the internet after a few seconds of loading. This is bothersome as i already have them all backed up using dropbox (not icloud i don't use icloud so i don't even know where it could possibly be downloading from) and i would like to be able to view my actual photos in their entirety. Any help is welcome. Thank you!

  • Why do my photos appear blurred in iMovie ?

    When making a video using iMOvie, I input all my photos I want to use but when they appear in thevideo, they are muchmore blurred (fuzzy and out of focus) than when I look at them in other applications?  What resolution and sizes are best to use? Do I need to reduce the photo sizes down? Thanks,

  • Why do my photos appear as a white screen when I click to view them on my iPhone ?

    When I click on a photo in my photo stream to view it it pops up as a white screen and I cannot see the photo. You can see each photo exists in the roll/stream but once you click to enlarge the picture it's a white screen.  Any suggestions?  I have a 4s iPhone.

  • Why do my photos appear as empty cells?

    Every once in a while when I open my photo files on my nano, the pictures themselves are gone, but cell boxes remain according to the number of photos that are supposed to be in their. I can fix it by resetting my ipod, but it has happened alot, and is this normal and is their a way to fix it permanantly?
    Windows   Windows 2000

    Okay.
    You may want to try setting your iPod to not update photos and then go back and set it to update them again (so it puts all the photos back on).
    See if it works now. If the problem persists, post back.

  • I am using both PSE 13 and Lightroom 5.  When I use Lightroom as an external editor and save the photo, it shows up in PSE13 as an edited file but does not look any different.  Why doesn't it appear edited?

    I am using both PSE 13 and Lightroom 5.  When I use Lightroom as an external editor and save the photo, it shows up in PSE13 as an edited file but does not look any different.  Why doesn't it appear edited?

    People who have Photoshop, but don't have Lightroom, need ACR so that they can use Raw files. Without ACR they could do nothing with those (they may also like having ACR so that they can work on other kinds of image using the same kinds of adjustments and techniques, as are used with Raw files).
    People who have Lightroom, can get access to Raw files regardless whether ACR is present or not. They can use Lightroom on other kinds of image also, using the same methods. LR can pass images directly into Photoshop without passing via ACR (or else does so transparently, which amounts to substantially the same thing).
    ACR does not, strictly speaking, even need to be installed for this external editing to happen. In fact, not even PS needs to be - since a different image editor can be used instead, while still retaining the Adobe Raw conversion etc.
    Lightroom "subcontracts out" specialised external tasks, in this workflow, but is still your "main contractor": the image is otherwise located, viewed, managed, adjusted/presented and output entirely using LR.
    So IMO we can divide image processing into:
    operations that involve pixels and layers and layer masks and adjustment layers etc (of the kind done inside Photoshop)
    operations that involve parametric edits (of the kind done in ACR where you are not using a Lightroom based workflow; otherwise, done inside Lightroom)
    When PS is called in, that's because those tasks are impossible or unsuitable to do in Lightroom. But those tasks can't be done in ACR either - by definition, since LR and ACR have exactly the same image processing "feature set".
    Lightroom is irrelevant to the Bridge + ACR + PS workflow. This workflow requires both your PS and your ACR to be current enough, to support your Raw format etc.
    ACR and Bridge are irrelevant to the LR + (image editor) workflow. It is in this case, only LR which needs to be current enough to support your Raw format etc.

  • Why are my Photos albums not appearing in Flickr?

    Anyone know why my albums that I create in Photos do not appear in Flickr? The photos appear but just in the photostream.

    Where is it you want the navigation to appear?
    Try this CSS -
    #mainnav {
    clear: both;
    display: block;
    float:right;
    margin-right:50px;
    margin-top:25px;
    overflow:hidden;
    padding:0;
    width:350px;
    Is that anywhere close?

  • Why does the same photo appear in every iphoto album?

    Why does the same photo appear in every album? Clicking on it makes other pictures appear?

    Backup your iPhoto library, depress and hold the option an command keys, launch iPhoto and from the resulting first aid window rebuild your thumbnails. This may take several trys
    If it does not fix the issue then repeat and rebuild your database

  • Why do my photos and text disinigrate quality (appear fuzzy / blurry / lo res) in premier pro cs6?

    Premier Pro CS6 Question.....
    Why do my photos and text disinigrate quality when imported to premier pro cs6?
    I have still shots that have text and they look clean and crisp when I view them in photoshop. Why does the photo and text look so fuzzy or blurry and not crisp when I import the still files into premier pro cs6?
    Is there a setting in premier that I am setting incorrectly? That is possibly blurring my photos and text? The problem appears in both my PR file and my final exported work.
    Is there a way to retain the quality of the image and text that I see in my photoshop file?
    Note: I am not enlarging anything after import, I am reducing though, but I would think this would only make images and text sharper????
    Any help would be greatly appreciated, Im getting tired of doing all my work and delivering blurry / fuzzy / what appears to be low resolution images and text when I complete my project.
    Thanks in advance for any help offered.

    Hi Jim, thanks so much again for chiming in to my questions.
    Specs of Stills - Photoshop file - 677 x 1014px, 150dpi, 1.96M file size, 150dpi, this is the size of the file I originally imported and reduced to approx. 65%, the one sized properly in photoshop imported fuzzier.
    Sequence Settings -
    Export Settings, FLV, attached are settings.
    1. EXPORT FILTER SETTINGS...
    2. EXPORT FORMAT SETTINGS
    3. EXPORT VIDEO SETTINGS
    FINAL PROJECT IS DELIVERY OF FLV FILE TO EMBED IN INTERACTIVE FILE. Ive tried different settings for different jobs, just feel all text and photos fall apart when pulled into and exported to FLV for embedding final.
    Ive done several slideshow and video's in premier pro, have so much to learn still, Im thinking I keep diving into my projects and possibly making a total mess out of my settings for the desired final destination? is this possible?

  • Why do only some photos appear in iCloud folder on my PC and not all taken on iPhone appear on iPad either? All settings seem correct and new photos now seem to be appearing on all devices, but not all older or recent photos

    Why do only some photos appear in iCloud folder on my PC and not all taken on iPhone appear on iPad either? All settings seem correct and new photos now seem to be appearing on all devices, but not all older or recent photos, even if taken at same time. All advice greatly appreciated.

    First, to access documents you must use an app designed for that specific Document type. So Pages will not be able to open PDFs. The Documents app by Readdle can handle PDFs though. In the latter case, you'd open the app, click the menu icon at its top left, and click Open to go to your iCloud Drive. With Pages, if you had files outside the main Pages folder, click + then iCloud and navigate to the file's location.
