Why do my playlist delete themselves after playing though the whole list?

just downloader the most recent Itunes update and after taking a whie to figure out that the shuffle was working i went to sleep with itunes playing. when i woke up itunes had stop playing and deleted the playlist i had playing. im ask why it did this how i can stop this and how i can have my playlist do what they did bfor witch was reshuffle the songs and continue playing.

Stop using the drive immediately, un plug it.
Buy a copy of ProSoft DataRescue 4 and use it to search for deleted files.

You will need to locate where you itunes library is and then relink one of the songs, itunes will do the rest. So if your itunes library is on an external hard drive or something like that. When you get the error message click yes you would like to locate it. then navigate to the external hard drive where the itunes libray is and locate that particular song. Once you have linked one, itunes will ask if you would like it to locate the rest, click yes and it will find the rest of the files if they are in the same location.

You are in Recovery Mode. Follow the instructions below to recover your iPad.
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost.

Turn on iTunes Sound Check, which you can do by going to Edit > Preferences > Playback and checking the box.
Let us know if that does the trick. If by any chance it does not, use the 3rd party program iVolume.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Delete the problem episodes and redownload.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

Sort of depend on what you are trying to do precisely. In Edit mode, if you tap on any label, you will be given a list of options, plus an Add Custom Label option near the bottom of the list

Why are my playlists deleted from my iPhone?

I've had this iPhone 4 for about a year now, and during most of this time it was synched with one single computer (I manually manage my musics and videos). Recently I had to change computers, and after that I started having some trouble with my playlists: all playlists created in my iPhone (on the go) are deleted as soon as I connect my iPhone into a computer and sync it with iTunes. Any ideas on why this is happening, or how i can fix it?

I figured out why this was happening to me. I have an Iphone 5 & i sync notes to yahoo & periodically my notes get deleted without my knowledge. Here's the story, & I'll need help finding the actual feature on itunes cause I don't sync to itunes since I can't. Iphone 5's will not sync with my power mac.
- Periodically I noticed notes disappearing from my notes. Sometimes a couple notes, sometimes a lot of notes. This was frustrating. The only good part was that they all appeared on my mail account so they weren't gone forever. They were just being deleted from my notes app. I then noticed that this was only happening when I plugged my phone into my work computer to get power. Itunes would pop up & attempt to sync my phone. (I turned off auto sync in the Itunes options, but every now and then, some co worker turnes it back on. One time when I plugged my phone to the work computer & it started to sync. I stopped it, then checked my notes. It was in the process of wiping the notes. It started from the top & went down. I must of stopped the sync in time to save some of them. Now if I had to guess, there is probably a "delete synced notes" check box in your device page of itunes. That I cannot verify cause I do not want to sync my device to my work computer to find out.. Can anyone else verify this?
