Why do my Reminders sometimes not alert after the set time? I've tried re-starting repeatedly. I've tried deleting older completed reminders (I only had 300). Is there a fix for this?
You problem sounded rather odd, so I tried to duplicate it in iTunes 11 and I couldn't.
I turned off copy to iTunes media folder when adding to library, then I moved a music track that was not in the iTunes media folder from folder A to folder B and right clicked on it and selected open with iTunes and it played fine. (I have to do it this way as iTunes is not my default player for MP3).
However the consequences of doing this are that you end up with two copies of the track in the library database, the original which can no longer be found as it is not in its original location and the new entry pointing to the correct location which plays OK.
So as far as I can tell, there must be something else going on as I can't dublicate your problem in iTunes 11

If you want an easy time with iTunes it really is easier to let iTunes manage your music in the iTunes media folder. Also it make life a lot easier if you want to move to a new disk or PC as iTunes can tolerate the iTunes media folder being moved as long as you tell it where it is.

I realised that my last experment was not a purchased track.
When I did it with a purchased track, iTunes recognises that it should be in the library database and brings the track up with an exclamation mark next to it. Strangely the track was added to the library with the correct loaction and would play on the secon try.
Odd behaviour, maybe it is something to do with the icloud storage system as iTunes knows you purchased the track.

In SOA 10.1.3.4 BPEL process , i have a asynchronous process which Invokes a Partnerlink and waits in the Recieve Activity. The OnAlarm branch set here waits for 2 hrs, after which the scope throws that Global fault.
I have observed that for some instances, the OnAlarm Branch does not throw error even after about 24 hrs ( though the OnAlarm is set to 2 hrs )
Is this a prodcut defect or something to do with thread level issues ?

We did not talk to Oracle last week, but hope to do so this week via web conference. According to Oracle support, the version and patch level we are on should not have the problem we are encountering. Both the Oracle constant and support have been unable to replicate the error when they attempt to recreate our setup on their own servers.
We can produce this issue 100% of the time, on a server with no load at all. it is a brand new environment for development use to which we have deployed the latest versions of our flows. I have deployed a simple flow containing just a Wait 15 minutes, and any instances in flight when I restart BPEL do not wake-up on time. Very occassionally, instances that previously failed to wake after a restart do wake after subsequent restarts, but that is not 100% of the time.
Hope to conference with Oracle on Wednesday.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards? -

Ask your carrier to send you the settings over wifi and then install them that way.
I'm on giffgaff and I used the giffgaff app from the store to sort this out.
Overall though I must say Apple has let itself down on this as why isn't something written in the ios script that keeps the original settings??

It used to work fine before I upgraded to mountain lion.
TksSame problem for me since upgrading to ML. Safari remembers autofills for some passwords but not others. For example my web mail password was no longer auto filled. Checked in the keychain list and all the info was there. Therefore I deleted this and tried again - but Safari did not offer to remember the password. Than ran an old script I had that is designed to "Removed autocomplete=off from 0 forms and from 2 form elements, and removed onsubmit from 0 forms. After you type your password and submit the form, the browser will offer to remember your password." Safari then offered to remember the password. I accepted this and checked that the password was then saved in keychain - it was. However, next time I tried to access the email Safari once more did not auto complete. Very frustrating, especially as some auto completes do work. I hope apple sort this out soon.

The No_Validate parameter "*+Form Builder flushes the current block without validating the changes, committing the changes, or prompting the end user.+*"
With No_Validate, your changes are discarded, and NOT committed.
