Why do my transistions go beyond the wire frame

So I have two photos and in between I put a dip to color transition
Instead of the dip color staying within the wire frame, which is at 100% as far as scale, the transition dip color extends beyond the actual frame size
Anyone help me with this
Thank you for your time
David

Okay David, I see now
I see what you are saying
Thank you. I went back and resized the jpeg's correctly within the sequence settings
Thank you

  • Any idea of easy to use wire frame that work with jDeveloper or APEX?

    Hello there,
Anyone has an idea of any easy to use wire frame that works well with Jdeveloper or Oracle Application Express? I was asked to check out some of the wire frame in Google and I am looking for suggestions.
    Any suggestion is welcome...

    Hi,
wire frames are technology agnostic and are to sketch user interfaces and navigation flows. So there is no dependency to JDeveloper or APEX. For ADF Faces - as Timo mentions - we do provide Microsoft Visio stencil to mockup user interfaces. However, these go beyond wireframes because wireframes don't actually focus on look and feel but layout only

  • Trying to create a wire frame object in 3D

Hi Folks, I am trying to create two objects: something called a gravity well and a wire framed globe in Photoshop 3D CS6. The examples are here: http://www.carreonphotography.com/3D/   #'s 1/5 and 5/5. I tried using a gradient map to create a depth map but the form is not editable if I understand PS 3D correctly. Only the scale, light, texture and perspective.
The surace of the gravity well needs to be a  white wire grid pattern over black with. The globe is basically the same. Can this be accomplished on Photoshop CS6 3D or do I have to farm this out to a 3D guy.
I have included samples of my objectives: #1 and 5 plus screen shots of what I ended up with, the form of which was uneditable based on what I understand. I also don't know how I would create the wire frame once I have the form.
I deally I would use the final images as png's on a 2D suface which I would later wrap onto a 3D surface.
    Any thoughs please!
    Thanks folks in advance:

How do I eliminate the artifacts along the edges of the frontal vertices of the well?
I think I know what you're referring to, but to make sure we're on the same page, repost the image with red ellipses/boxes surrounding the artifacts which trouble you.
As recommended by someone on the forums I started with a 32 bit grid map but knocked it down to 16 bits to speed up the 3d engine. Was my thinking correct? Can I use a gray scale image instead so PS CS6 doesn't get bogged down?
I used an 8-bit grayscale image for the grid and I rendered to 16-bit output (i.e. my main document's mode was 16-bit RGB). Rendering to floating point 32-bit output images can have advantages when using illuminants with realistic intensities but it usually requires subsequent tone mapping. I don't think your illustrative image will benefit from that, so I recommend you render to 16-bit.
There is absolutely no reason to use a 32-bit per channel image for that grid opacity texture. The grid has only black and white and is entirely horizontal and vertical lines, so you should be able to get away with a 1-bit per pixel texture, but use an 8-bit grayscale texture because I know that works in Photoshop
The output of the final document is 5000 X 5000 pixels but the gravity well is but small element in the background so I have made it 3000 by 3000. If the 3D engjine is using vector math to draw the lines, does size even matter?
The polygons making up the surfaces that are rendered will be calculated with vector maths but the size of the opacity texture should be large enough to prevent it becoming fuzzy due to upscaling to cover the surface area when rendering an image of a given size. Remember that a texture can be tiled (up to ten times in each direction) to repeat over a surface (using the UV Mapping Properties), so your grid doesn't need to define every "square" of the well.
Can't figure out how to move a point light from the bottom so it matches the second example. I like the way this artist handles transparency in his grid. Can you tell me now to move the light. The interface is different than in CS5 tutorials.
Click on a point light with the Move Tool to activate its manipulator then drag on the heads of the red, green and blue arrows. You might want to switch view to each of the top, right and front views to aid alignment. You can store the current 3D view before changing then return to it. There's a secondary view window that can be enabled, which would aid with alignment, but it doesn't show lights for some reason.
Is it possible to select all the shape layers containing horizontal lines and change their width simultaneously? I am doing so one layer at a time.
Do you mean to scale the width of the lines without scaling their offset?

i created boolean references in my main vi block diagram and copied them to my sub vi front panel. when wire my reference in my main vi to one the input node of the sub vi the wire is broken. the error says its a class conflict why?

    Expanding and clarifying what BJD said;
After you create the temporary sub-VI that BJD mentioned, open its front panel and copy the reference control that LV created when it created the sub-VI.
This reference control will be correct class etc that you need. Use the control to replace the original control that you were attempting to wire up.
The technique of "create sub-VI...copy" always works for me.
There is one more thing that you should watch out for.
The mechanical action of the boolean can not be set for latch action when attempting to read the value using a value property node.

  • Why are the lines of my bulleted list flowing beyond the column boundaries?

I have created an iBook using templates and styles. Everything looks good on my Mac. When I preview on my iPad or export to iBooks, the bullets are not indented from the left margin the same amount on the screen, and the text runs beyond the right edge of my column. How do I fix this?

My situation is a little different.  I have a text box on the left of the page, 1 column, and a galery on the right of the page.  On the Mac, the text and gallery look fine.  But, when I preview on my ipad, some of the text at the right margin of the text box is not visible.  I have tried resizing the text box and it just causes some other text ( the last 1 or 2 letters) at the right margin to disappear.

  • Not able to view text while typing beyond the top edge of the keyboard

I have an iPad mini with updated iOS 8.1.3 ......
Honestly I was very happy with iOS 7 it was perfect. The iPad was working fast and effortlessly. Just like how any apple product should be.
Until iOS 8 spoiled the show. There are many problems I'm facing after the update, but I want a solution for my major problem.
Problem 1: (Major –Blinded by the Keyboard)
I'm not able to view the body text beyond the edges of the keyboard while I’m typing; may it be in Notes, Pages, Numbers, Keynotes, calendar or any other app, which requires typing. Earlier I could just swipe it up and so it got scrolled to the end of the document. I extensively use notes, Calendar, pages, numbers, and keynote on iPad but sad that I can't see anything, though it is typing beyond the edge of the new keyboard. It's just stuck. Presently I'm copy-pasting, by typing at the beginning of the document cause after it reaches the edge of the keyboard I'm blind can't see. Please fix it soon before people realise this.
    Problem 2: (updating)
iOS 8.1.2 is slow for iPad mini 1. When the processor is not able to manage this update then why does Apple give the option of updating. iOS 7 was just perfect. I was forced to update it because my app updates wouldn't update. Soon as I click update it opens the app and there you have it 'nothing'.
    Problem 3: (Siri)
what is the use of Siri when it is slow to react, (in 3G). It just opens up slow.
    Problem 4: (Photos app)
Photos app response time is very slow on iPad.
    Problem 5: (assertive touch)
The assertive touch button on screen just goes dud sometimes on iPad.

For your keyboard problem:  Hold down the home & sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until the Apple Logo appears then let go & let the iPad boot up normally.
For your other issues, & if you do not wish to update to iOS 8.2, do a general reset:
Settings->General->Reset->Reset All Settings.  You won't lose any data but will have to log back into your wifi networks.

  • Is there any way to go beyond the 99 TRACKS of content limitation for a DVD

    Greetings All,
I don't think there is much hope of getting the solution to my dilemma that I'm hoping for, but perhaps someone out there has overcome a similiar situation to mine.
As you can see from the topic of my post, I'm hoping there might be some way to get DVD SP to 'work-around' the DVD-standard of 99 tracks of content. To give you a better idea of why I'm trying to do this I'll just briefly outline my project.
I'm creating a FAMILY TREE DVD with multiple menus (each menu representing a specific family). The object is to encompass extended family as well as ancestry up to the current generation. The names for each person that appear on the menu are links to a slideshow (and usually a very short one at that - perhaps 3 to 5 pix). As you've guessed, I've reached the limit of 99 slideshows but with barely having gone past the 1.5 GB mark.
In order to meet the desired objective of this project, it would be preferable to have all the slideshows contained on the one DVD as this way, the interconnections between the various families can be more easily demonstrated.
Anyway, I know its a long shot as I've tried to do some research on this myself and have come up empty.
Any help or advice offered would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Karl

99 title limit - this includes Tracks and Stories!
I would imagine a project like this would be possible with chapter end jumps although ,like you guys said, it would be a PITA.
No way to get beyond the 99 title limit in DVDSP. Tracks and stories are counted as 1 title each so the limits includes both tracks and stories. I could see having up to 99 Tracks and 99 chapters while including chapter end jumps for each slide show section. Like Aldolfo said this might put pressure on a player. Remember DVDSP is still an abstraction layer tool, hiding most of the mundane DVD details from the author.
This title would be a breeze in a spec tool, like the studios use to author their titles. Your still limited to 99 tracks (VTS) but these tools give you access to such things as PGCs and Programs. In fact, this title could be done with 1 track(VTS) in such a tool.
and....I wouldn't want to target 9801 separate Buttons

  • In Keynote '09 distribute objects horizontally/vertically is distributing objects beyond the slide. How do I make the left-most and right-most objects the limit of the distribution?

I used to have the option of distributing objects so that they would overlap, but the current "distribute" tool is functioning as if overlapping isn't allowed. The result is that the objects move beyond the limits of the slide. Any suggestions?

I know that's what *should* happen, but it just doesn't. I've made screen-grabs of the entire process:
Like I said, this use to work just as you've described it. Is there a box I accidentally selected? I just really don't understand why the tool has changed the way it functions...

  • Please please can some one tell me how do you charge ur ipad with ur laptop. it doesn't chage wen I put use the wire. only charges when I plug the socket in.

please please can some one tell me how do you charge ur ipad with ur laptop. it doesn't chage wen I put use the wire. only charges when I plug the socket in. Iv never used an ipad b4 so don't really know much. Hope some one knowz.

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery

At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. • How do I reduce the size of a Keynote file beyond the reduction of zip?

    Kindly advise.

How do I reduce the size of a Keynote file beyond the reduction of zip?
Why do you need it smaller, what size is the file, what's in the file that you think is making it large.
If your trying to reduce file size to send by e-mail, use a file transfer service instead:  Dropbox.

  • Why do we all moan acout the speed on asdl broadba...

You know in this day and age we should all know that broadband is a tricky buisness where diffrent companys have good working lines and some are upgrading others dont. The main thing with all is the wires that connect our houses from there exchange. From the first days bt have a copper wiring system.Which means telephone is ok but broadband can be slow or even non-existant.Thats why we all want super fast fiber yet it is still the asdl copper lines using this.Ok some of the wireing may be fiber coated but from there end at the begining of the exchange and where your house is from cabinet to modem,it is again copper at there areas too.Bt and others are making a connection to connection begining to end with only fiber used. But until that day where the areas home and buisness are all dug up,had the fiber wired dropped down into the earth beneth our feet im afraid some are lucky a good speed, while a neighbour can be slow and the usual broadband speed no matter what the cost. Now cable was a thing good in 1995,when the net first started, for half of uk.Ok to start it was 1meg and 2 but its increased. There service completly is fiber to fiber door to door.Thats why they have cable and already most of half of uk dug up.But im afraid the company we had take over in 2008 or so are dull, unimaginable, trying to flog a dead horse with 6 month frills, and deals. When they do have a good service but try to outweigh any good-doing buy the speed being slow again, slugish when all they have to do is sort out a couple of things to have it run right......cable is a luxury if it works 120meg and a decent price. We should have there cables rented out to bt say except branson,on Johnathen ross  in island life 24 hours...See uk dont moan complain about slow, stop, freezing pics as its all down to you..You pay tax and so on,let these companys keep the man in the street waiting.ste
"poor is the man whos permission depends upon the permission of another"

Cable isn't FTTP. Cable is FTTC then Coax Cable from there to the premises.
Also Virgin can ram as much speed down there cable as they want, problem is the throughput on it is always lower as there cable TV service traffic that is pumped down the same cable takes priority over internet traffic.

  • Exchange 2010 DAG Replication - too much data crossing the wire

I’m replicating 3 Exchange databases from our production active Exchange 2010 server across the WAN to another passive Exchange 2010 server at our DR site.
The Exchange server at the DR site does not have any active databases, i.e. no users are hitting that server.
We are running Update Rollup 8 for Exchange Server 2010 SP1 on both these servers.
The two sites are connected via a 10Mb/s MPLS connection and all the databases are in sync and the replication is working fine.
I have setup a network sniffer at the primary site and see a sizable amount of data crossing the wire from the production Exchange server to the DR Exchange server.
When I query the production Exchange server using the Tracking Log explorer and only choose the EventID ‘RECEIVED’ that should show me the amount of data that has been committed to the database.
If I choose a date range that is the same exact range that I have used to capture the raw data with my sniffer the amount of data the sniffer shows crossing the wire is 10 fold compared to what the Tracking Log Explorer shows.
If I actually count up the data in the LOG files it is about 20% more than what is crossing the wire but that seems to be because the DAG is compressing the data.
If in a one hour timeframe there is 500MB of data crossing the wire to the DR Exchange server the tracking log explorer will show only 50MB.
I would like to know why the data crossing the wire far exceeds the amount of data that is truly being sent/received from the primary exchange server.
Perhaps I’m simply not getting a true view of the amount of data being committed to the exchange server using the Tracking Log Explorer.
Maybe there is a better way to report how much data is being committed to the exchange databases.
    Any assistance would be appreciated…

    Two things.
1 - you must update Exchange to SP3 and a recent RU.  Willard has already provided the links, which point back to my blog if you want to see the lifecycle map for Exchange 2010.  SP1 has been out of support since January 2013.  Time to move
    on pllease
2 - Looking at the tracking log is not sufficient.  I would not expect that to show everything.
I want to know what traffic you see as excessive.  What ports are you seeing used here?
My money is on content indexing.  CI will use additional traffic over and above log repl traffic.  Expect CI traffic to be roughly the same again.  You can test this by disabling CI on the database or stopping the services on the DR server.
To disable the CI for the database:
    Set-MailboxDatabase DBName -indexEnabled $False
Or stop the Exchange search services on the DR box to leave production unaffected.
Again - you need to update Exchange.  You would be better to do that now rather than when something breaks and Microsoft support cannot fully assist you since you are not uptodate.    I'll leave discussion of the security issues resolved
    in recent Exchange RUs aside.
    Cheers,
    Rhoderick

Now I can't connect to the internet using the Fios router, why? BTW, I probably accidently unplugged the Fios Box but I quickly plugged it back in.
The system DHCP asigns the IP address based on the MAC hardware address of the router. If you plugged your Netgear into the ONT, and it was able to pick up an address that quick, you would need to find a way to release the address from the Netgear and unplug it quickly before it gets reasigned back to the Netgear. Or leave the Netgear unpluged for about a hour or two, then plug the Actiontec back into the ONT. It might not take an hour or two to get the new address, but it is one way to prevent residential customers from getting more than one public IP address. Or connect the Actiontec and call the Verizon FCS and have them release and renew your IP.

  • Can you synchronise a Nokia E61 with Oracle Calendar over the wire?

    Hi there.
I work in IT and I have just got the Nokia E61 to test out as an alternative to the MDA's that we currently have. Basically we are looking to phase these out as they have proved to be very unreliable but they have been relatively easy to setup via ActiveSync.
Now that I have just received a Nokia E61 to test I was wondering; is there a way I can get Oracle Calendar to synchronise over the wire as opposed to over the air,
just like i could on the MDA's after installing Oracle Calendar Sync for Pocket PC.
The reason why I ask is as a company we would like to do over the wire is so that pc users can synchronise their organisers via usb without costing the company any money via GPRS connections.
Is their a possibility that this could be done or will I have to go down the SyncML route?
In advance many thanks for your help!

This cannot be achieved with the Synthesis SyncML client. The latest Oracle Calendar Application System server patch (10.1.2.3.1) only mentions Nokia N90 and 6682.
So Oracle does not support Nokia E61 yet. I suggest that you raise an enhancement request SR on Metalink.
    Best regards,
    Fred
