V3 gives you good performance and you use it when the order of data is not important they way it was posted in OLTP, this method is used.

Why unable to use 3rd party cable for charging?

I'd been using Apple iPhone 4 for more han 3 years, due to wear and tear, the charging cable provided by Apple had frayed.
I bought a new cable from an authorised store, but the iPhone cannot be charged, as it's not responding.
Error message showed : This cable is not authorised, unable to charge phone.
I anticipate this same experience will occur with my Apple iPad mini.
Apple's cable costs at least 4 times the price of a 3rd party's.
I'm getting very frustrated with this, as I hv to borrow cable from a family member whenever I need to charge my phone.
Don't understand why Apple hv to control such usage. Secondly, this is also prompting me to change to another brand's phone, which is Apple's rival.
Most of my friends have switched from Apple to this brand, due to frustrations with Apple's control.

Firstly, it's got nothing to do with control. Apple wants it's products to charge more quickly than other products, therefore it has to provide a higher voltage to them. The reason that your awesome iPhone rejected your crappy third-party cable, is to keep you from frying your phone. Incorrect voltage management is how bad things happen, such as cables melting, or phone mysteriously stops working. If you use a third party cable, you run the risk of ruining property. Hence the warning message. Apple makes very good products, and that is why they cost more. A good apple cable is going to last four times longer than the crappy one anyways, so save some money in the long run and get a proper cord.

Ext. Burners tolerate burning multiple copies with fewer read / write errors better than the stock internal S-Drive that come built into many mac laptops. Stock drives heat up faster than external burners do for the most part. So the answer is, it's very possible you will get slightly better results with an external burner as opposed to an internal laptop S-Drive when burning back to back copies.
I recommend using Verbatim Dvd-r media and burning from a disc image at 4x or slower for best results.

Why is Apple using short code SMS for 2 step authentication?

I have been trying for months to get 2 step authentication to work on my AppleID but I never got the SMS code from Apple. In the past I have had no problems with receiving 2 step authentication codes from Google, MS or Yahoo so I knew that worked. I knew that my MVNO blocks short code SMS because they have been used to scam/charge people for services. That got me to thinking would Apple be using short code SMS to send key information for 2 step authentication? I spent hours looking through posts here and on Google and discovered a post by "yohdaddy" in this thread

that indeed is what Apple is doing! Why Apple use short code SMS which providers sometimes block and will not always unblock? Use a normal 10 digit phone number like Google, MS and Yahoo does. That way critical information like 2 step authentication verification codes will not be blocked. Surely your company can afford it!

then you will need to enter credit card details before the account can be used to download any item from the store.

As was clearly explained on that download page for iCloud control panel, while you can use an iCloud account on a Windows machine, you cannot create an account from one.
You need an Apple device to create an iCloud account. Afterwards, you can use that account in Windows, but to get Apple's free iCloud service, you have to create the account initially from an Apple device.

Hello BT mods,
In your online guides on setting up email, the instructions advise specifying the outgoing mail server as mail.btinternet.com, with SSL enabled. However, the certificate used to sign the connection is invalid! (This is because of a host name mismatch due to using a yahoo certificate)
This is pretty bad practise and doesn't help non-technical people understand online security! Is this mismatch going to get rectified, or do BT simply plan to tell customers to trust an invalid certificate?

Looking at it again, point 11 shows to leave outgoing SSL unticked, which is not how I remember it from earlier in the week - not sure if this has been updated since I reported it by phone or not, I remember the previous point as including a tick for SSL enabled as well though.
Incidentally, it would appear to work with outgoing SSL both enabled and disabled - I'd been running with SSL enabled for years, TBH this only came to light after I had problems sending email at the beginning of the week.
I did call the helpdesk, which was A Bad Idea, as I not only got conflicting info from two different reps, but the first one managed to delete all the historical mail in my inbox, thanks for that! My own fault really, I should have known better than to let someone onto my computer with GotoAssist! (And to be fair, the second guy I spoke to was actually really good, knew what he was talking about and everything. Just a shame my mail had already been deleted by then!)

abab is used for currency conversion (standard function modules), time conversions, format conversions (internal <-> external format) ... All this can be done by calling standard function modules. Additionally you can use simple if or case statements to populate fields depending on other values and you can also create very complex update rules where you handle lots of dependencies, select lots of data (out of infoobjects, cubes or ods-objects ...), create or delete entries in your data packages.... The usage of abap depends very much on the needs/requirements of your project.

Invoice Lists makes it possible to send a list which contains multiple billing documents like invoices, credit memos and debit memos, to a Payer at specific time or on specific days. This can be generated in background processing.
There are two types of invoice lists in the standard:-
- One for Invoices and debit memos and
- One for Credit memos

I would think they would be the most accurate and specific record of incidents, and could easily be identified with the computer serial number. What am I missing in this scenario?

What you're missing is that diagnostics software doesn't cover everything in any laptop made by anyone.
Intermittent problems, and genuine hardware induced faults typically, or course, are hard to pinpoint.
jet fighter planes contain 1000s of sensors and multimillion dollar live diagnostics and still can't "see" more than 60% of hardware potential faults.
Lucky you, the Air however contains extremely few parts, there isnt much to diagnose on one.
The Air contains 90% fewer parts than a typical laptop from a mere 7 years ago.

and the Ugly.
Basically it is the review and attempted improvement of LV diagram code
by a member of the LV development team. The presentation is typically a
slide or two of overview for an application, then jumping into LV to
look at the before and after code. The audience members get into the
act as well, and hopefully everyone learns something in the process.
To do this requires VIs that someone is willing to offer up for review
-- we call them our guinea pigs. We will remove the hints about
ownership and will keep everything anonymous.
If you have an application that you wish had turned out better, maybe
its performance was less than you'd hoped, maybe t
he UI is a bit homely,
perhaps there were features you wanted to add that seemed impossible or
really hard to do in LV. You can send the VIs directly to me using the
address Greg.McKaskle at ni.com along with a descriptive email of what
the app did, what it didn't do, what was hard, etc.

anticipated (they're still ok, imho)... Is there a maximum size of the
application? (Would 600 vi be too much?)
