Why do SIM free iPhone 5's lock themselves to the network of the 1st SIM that's inserted into it? Doesn't that contradict its statement of being SIM free?

Yes, it was purchased from Carphone Warehouse, but not by me. It was purchased by a family member for me as payment for upgrading her computer. I'm not being ungrateful or anything, but if I purchased one from the Apple website, would it be unlocked?

The only reason you use bluetooth between iPad/iPhone its to share the internet from iPhone to wifi only iPad.
In order to see the bluetooth connection, you must first enable the Personal Hotspot on the iPhone.
Then on the iPhone, open Setting s> Bluetooth.
Then open the Bluetooth on the iPad adn pair teh devices. -

Not if you enable photo stream on your computer at a later date. Photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days, even though your last 1000 photos remain on your iOS devices until deleted. This means that when you enable photo stream on your computer (or any other device) you only receive photo stream photos from the last 30 days, even though you may have older photos on your phone.

I have an iPhone 5 and it shows on the Mail Icon that I have over 3,000 emails to read but the number continues to increase even when I have read the email. I thought once you have read an email it drops off the count of "new emails"
The received emails should show in two locations:
1. In the All Inboxes tab of Mail.
2. The Inbox for each mail account,
If your emails are not showing in these locations try quitting the mail app and then reset your iPhone.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal.
To reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -

IPhone 5 screen locking without pressing the lock button
Recently my iPhone screen has started locking without pressing the button. It is like it is stuck but the button isn't even pushed down. It does it so often that it is hard to use my phone because it keeps locking the screen and then trying to turn off the phone. It wasn't so bad at first and I used the accessibility feature to lock my screen in case something was wrong with button. However, my friend was looking at my phone and pressed the lock button which made it start going crazy again. I can't turn my phone off either because it will automatically turn back on because the button is going off. It is almost like there is a ghost pressing my lock button constantly. That is the best way to describe it. I'm not sure if I am under warranty or not, I got the phone from Sprint in the beginning of June.
Make an appointment at the genius bar and have it looked at. It sounds like the power button is failing.

Hi all. I've been having this issue for some time now. You see, I want to sync all my SELECTED music from my itunes library onto my iPhone 4, however whent he approriate options are ticked, and I click sync, nothing happens. The only option that seems to put music across is to sync my entire library (which I don't want) can anyone help?
In iTunes there is a setting to automatically launch iTunes when the phone is connected.
