Why do the lines in bold (unread) sit slightly offset upwards against the non-bold lines

Since the last upgrade, unread lines in the list of messages screens are set slightly higher than unemboldened (read) lines.
Also the To:, Cc: etc area of the compose mail screen looks kind of unfinished.
Is this what is supposed to happen, or do I have a fonts issue.

It's interesting that you report it happening on multiple systems. That really has me wondering why you are seeing it and yet apparently no-one else does. It's hard to see how it could be widespread and yet passing unnoticed by so many.

Which platform?
I have zebra striping in my thread pane listing, which inserts specific spacing rules and possibly defeats that effect. Maybe yours is the default behaviour. (But I still can't see that uneven spacing here in Thunderbird's Safe mode, Windows 7, TB31.1.2).
The first step to addressing any issue like this is identification of the steps to take to be able to reproduce it, and we don't have that yet.

When I expand the address bar it shows sites I have visited in the past, how can I clear this?

When I go to my address bar and click on the small arrow to the right the bar expands to show sites I have visited in the past. The only problem is that these are sites I have visited a LONG time ago. I want to clear these sites and populate this drop down feature with more recent web sites I visit more frequently.

When previewed in browser or on the server the path of my web site repeats folders. However the "href" in the html code does not show the repetition in the path.

If someone could help me on this one, this would be great. I am creating a web site that has several departments. I have categorized and saved each department in a main folder called "departments" and a subfolder for each one. In the Dreamweaver code view the pop-up menu links seem to show up properly, but when I preview in browser or upload to server "page not found" comes up because for some reason the address changes. Some parts of the address seem to be appearing twice, sometimes the entire path will appear twice as shown below:

that is incorrect and it takes me to "web page cannot be found".
It is obviously repeating the folders (hence the "departments/parks-and-recreation" twice. The correct link is:

The link issues are happening in the pop-up menu. For example if you go to http://www.graphicmechanic.com/DEKALBCOUNTY/departments/parks-and-recreation/pr-arabiamtn. html and rollover the link called "Arabia Mountain" in the links to the left side of the page, then click the pop-up menu link entitled "Arabia Mountain Map" that's where the problem occurs.
Can anyone tell me how I can fix this problem. I don't know what I should do with the code since it already appears correct in html view.

This problem usually happens when the menu is either a server-side include or a library item using links relative to the document. When you reference a page at a different level of the folder hierarchy, the document-relative links no longer point to the correct destination.
Change the links in the menu to be relative to the site root.
A document-relative link usually looks like this:
<a href="../products/index.html">Products</a>
A link relative to the site root begins with a forward slash like this:
<a href="/products/index.html">Products</a>

And guess what, the behavior was the same. I was a bit confused.
I tried shutting down and restarting FireFox and then my computer. My tabs were saved. Still the same behavior. So, I kept the YourDictionary.xml on my clipboard, removed it from the search box, closed firefox, saved the xml to the search plugin subdirectory of the profile directory, closed my notepad, restarted firefox and . . . . tadaaaa ''it worked.'' Thank you!

When visiting web page strange symbols cover the web page, happens on sites visited, have confirmed that the sited and page visited is normal on other pc.

I have scanned for malware by using Spy Bot, EST Smart Security, Microsoft security essentials and IO bit Malware Fighter. All come back clean. Have uninstalled Firefox and clean installed Firefox after reboot.
Still no change. Thank in advance for suggestions on how to fix. Note this is being sent from the 2nd PC which does not have the described issue.

Thanks to ideato and jscher2000, the problem described appears to be solved.
My final step after updating the video driver was to go into msconfig.exe and click on Startup Tab and disable all ''non microsoft'' startup items, I did leave ESET security program to also load at startup. I then went to the General tab and clicked Selective startup.
Did a reboot and problem solved. The problem is now isolated to those startup programs which I had disabled in the msconfig program.

go to help at the top of your browser then click on restart with add-ons disabled, firefox will close then it will open up with just basic firefox, then you can swicth the add-ons back on and it should be ok, ive just done this myself and it worked

It should be around 7 and a half gigs. In iTunes, across the bottom there should be a bar that show how much storage is being used and by what. (music, movies, apps, etc.) To make music take up less room, you can check the box to make it convert the music to 128kbps AAC. This lowers the quality, but with most earbuds and speakers, you can't even tell the difference.
The iPod touch has parental controls built in. You'll find them in Settings. I think they only work for enabling/disabling Safari, Mail, YouTube, and App Store. Here's an app that does more: http://www.mobicip.com/online_safety/ipod_touch

The websites are being stretched sideways to twice their normal width so I can see only the left half of a site unless I go into "Fullscreen" mode; ideas?

Whenever I use Firefox the page opens so that I can see only the left half of whatever site; i.e. half of the useful page info (the rest is cut off) displays on the right half of my screen while the left half of my screen shows just background of the site. Using the maximise/restore button does nothing. If I swap to the fullscreen view I can see everything fine but obviously I lose my tool bars. I installed the latest version of Firefox with no joy. I've looked for a page setup function to no avail. I thought that time would fix this as it is something that has happened before but was temporary. Other browsers work fine. I thought about uninstalling then re-installing but I'm not keen to lose my bookmarks etc. unless I have to. Thanks for your help in advance; I hope this ramble makes some sense.

When you hit edit and forward it, you actually forward the message as a text message, not as an email. So probably you have that email address as your iMessage address as well. That's why you get the forwarded one into your text message box. Is your name/mail address is blue? Which means you send it as an iMessage. When it is green, you then send it as a MMS to an email address.
