remove them in Safe Mode with >>Driver Fusion<<
then reboot to normal mode and install MSI VGA drivers for your card:
http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N560GTX-Ti-Twin-Frozr-II-OC.html#/?div=Driver&os=Win8%2064
during installation select custom install and checkmark "clean install"
Looked like stable. Played 3 WOT games in a row without any problems (before it would crash in the second game). In the 4th game it blued screen and said "Clock Watchdog Timeout"

  • Why does my iTunes suddenly sound like crap?

Up until today iTunes has sounded fine but all of a sudden it turned to crap. I havent changed any settings in months and havent updated in years since it always causes problems and each update gets worse and worse. Its almost like the EQ is way off but I didnt even know iTunes had an EQ feature until today and when I try to change it, it doesnt fix the problem. Same goes when I try to change the EQ and other features in the control panel.
Does anybody know what the problem is and how I can fix it? I wish there was another program that would sync my phone, im so tired of this **** from apple.

  • Why dont the music & music videos work the same as on iPhone?

why dont the music & music videos work the same as on iPhone?

Gettingonmynerves, in my honest opinion, you will be gettingabsolutelynowhere in your attemp to edit AVCHD files natively with PE using a Laptop.
Your system is seriously underpowered for the task at hand.
Most folks would recommend at least a Quad Core desktop, tuned for perfomance.
What you might try is to convert the AVCHD to traditional HDV via this link:
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/390605?tstart=0
This may buy you some relief, but even with the convert, I think it will still be a challenge to edit these formats on a laptop.
You could also try to down convert the video via the Camera, if that feature is available. I don't have or use a High Def Camera at this time so I can't help much with the Camera possibilities.
Again it's not an issue with the laptop itself, it probably works great for it's intended use, unfortunately it is not up to the task, performance wise, for editing the ACVHD or High Def formats with PE...
    Good Luck...

I recently created a video in iMovie that I later uploaded to YT. I had a message from YT a day later saying that the music I used in my video was detected as 3rd party content. I used music found in the music and sound effect section. The artist is listed as Apple Inc. What happened?
This is the message I received:

This question comes up from time to time. YouTube and Facebook are both wrong.
There are a number of con-men who think that they can earn a quick buck from claiming that they own the copyright to Apple’s royalty-free jingles and sound effects included with the iLife applications. These are all free to use, as clearly stated in section 2.C of the iLife Software License Agreement:
“You may use the Apple and third party audio content (“Audio Content”) contained in or otherwise included with the Apple software, on a royalty-free basis, to create your own original soundtracks for your video and audio projects. • Is the music-video quality worth $1.99?

This is my time line: I downloaded the iPod commercial (w/ U2 in it). I bought music videos.
I have to confess that the video and sound quality for music videos are way too low for $1.99. I expected the quality JUST AS IN THE AD but it is only a very small fraction of it. The commercial might be misleading. It is good but it does not reflect the reality of the product. Gotta check on that.
I understand that there might be limitations with the iPod. That's acceptable but what if I want to watch these videos in the computer? Shouldn't the software down-sample the videos for the iPod while maintaining a full-quality copy for desktop viewing?
You can legally download most of the music videos at the same size for free from well known sources (that are even related to Apple). Yes, some of the have lower video and sound quality BUT these are neither intended for HD TV viewing?
My two dollars: Make them larger and better and make iTunes install a reduced video for the iPod. Otherwise is only worth like $0.49.

I too am very disappointed by video quality especially for the price. If it had said it was 320x240 on iTunes Music Store I wouldn't even have thought about buying it. They are definitely misleading most people to think it's full quality. I know it needs to be 320x240 for an iPod but I'm down loading it to my computer and would expect at least 640x480 come on!! You should have to compress it for the iPod the same as you would with CD's. That's why I don't buy music from iTunes Music Store because the quality is too low for my standards. Now it's the same reason I won't buy videos either. Well thanks for letting me get that off my chest. Wish I had found these posts prior to buying my first and last item from iTunes, a Jane's Addiction "Ocean Size" music video... : (

  • After upgrading recently I got this message: "The file 'iTunes Library.itl' cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes." The music/video files are still on my MacBook Pro.  Is it because I'm still on 10.5.8?  How do I fix this?

For your reference I’m using a MacBook Pro running 10.5.8.  Several weeks ago on a Monday I received an upgrade for iTunes. When Tuesday arrived I attempted to log in so that I could download the latest freebie song(s).  I was met w/this message: “The file ‘iTunes Library.itl’ cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes.”
The music/video files are still on my Mac (I’ve verified that via Searchlight), but I’m unable to open the program.  Since I know that 10.5.8 is rapidly becoming prehistoric, could it be that the newest iTunes isn’t compatible w/this particular OS?  I’d like to switch up, but understand that the newest OS won’t work on a Mac of this vintage (6 years old).  In addition, my Adobe products (all CS2) won’t work w/anything newer than 10.5.8, so I’m reluctant to go to a newer OS (I just can’t afford the Adobe upgrade $$$ @ this point).
Is there any way to get a download of an “old” iTunes version?  If there were, I’d simply refuse any future upgrades until my personal economy allows me to stop working as if it were 2006.  Please advise, somebody!

I don't know how you received an upgrade for iTunes.  You make it sound like it was sent to you.  At most your computer will tell you of a new version and you tell it to download it and install it.  However, a computer will not do this for a version which is incompatible.  iTunes 10.7 came out a few weeks ago but your computer would not notify you and even if it did, 10.7 would refuse to install on your computer.  So this part isn't making a lot of sense.
Two ways to get the 'newer version' message.  One is to open your library on a computer running a newer version, and then try to open it with an older version.  Usually happens when the library is on an external and used with multiple computers.  The second way is if you have multiple versions of itunes installed on your computer.
The newest (and likely the last) iTunes for OSX 10.5.8 is iTunes 10.6.3 which has been out for quite a while.

  • Why is the music clip marked with a yellow warning sign?

While browsing my project library today, I noticed that every music clip associated with a particular project is marked with a yellow "warning" triangle (with an exclamation point in the center). What's worse, the music won't play.
I had previously uploaded this video to YouTube, where it now plays just fine. But I'm still puzzled by the warning sign, and by the fact that the music won't play when I take a look at it in my Project Library.
I've never had a warning sign like this emerge in connection with anything else I've put together with iMovie. Why is it there, and why are the music clips inoperative? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi !
I have a question. I had that little warning sign as well but in the clip I had just imported into the event library... I don't understand because when I went to the folder in which iMovie copies the clips I import, it was right there. Same name, same size, same runtime... and it played perfectly; and I could preview the clip in iMovie. But the thumbnail was gray with that little sign. Also, I couldn't delete the clip from my library.
I closed iMovie, started it again... the clip is in the library, no more gray thumbnail and little yellow sign.
    How is that possible ?!

  • Why have I lost video sound on my ipad?

Why have I lost video sound on my ipad?

Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. Tap the icon on the far left side of the row to either lock the iPad’s screen or mute the iPad’s alerts, notifications and sound effects. Music, podcasts and video are not muted unless you turn the volume all the way down.

  • Why do my Music videos go together with my music as "audio"

    Hey Guys,
can anyone of u figure this out, i currently have 56 music videos on my 30GB iPod, when i edit my music videos i would put them as "music video" in the (video kind) options, the problem i can't seem to figure out is why my music videos are my listed as "music" in my list of music.
I have other videos like video podcasts and movies and they are visible as "video" on the status bar which tells me how much videos i have, how much space and how much time they take up.
can anyone please tell me why my music videos do not come up in the video list on the status bar?

Dell Dimension 2300 Windows XP Pentium 4 100GB 640MB RAM

    Hello Dr.Doss,
u seem to have misunderstood my problem sorry if it was confusing, but that is exactly what i normally do, so it is not new to me, but even when i do that my music videos would not come up in iTunes as "videos" they r visible in the list with my music with the (video symbol) so in other words i would see music and music videos together as "music" i even created a (smart playlist) for the music videos.
Well i recently restored my iPod so when i replaced all of my music, photos and music videos onto it except "movies" and "video podcast" and i looked at the status bar i only see "audio, photos and other" i do not see "video " although i have music videos on it, they r videos aren't they!
Please help me with this puzzle

  • Sounds Like Crap

I've been beginning to wonder what GB's real purpose is... I've recently purchased a Snowball Microphone $105.00 to go with GB because my band and I were simply utilizing the built-in microphone on my MacPro -- ugh, not good at all. It's much better now, but still not great quality. Sounds like the recording was out of a "garage". Obviously, I'm getting way too much interference (sound bouncing off of walls, windows, everything). What exactly am I supposed to do?? Having us individually record our parts seems like a royal pain and I only have one microphone and have been recording tracks on just one take (all together, not separately).
Also, I've been recording some simple acoustic stuff (guitars on two tracks and vocals on two tracks -- it sounds horrible, once I add in vocals, it completely screws up the overall sound -- what's the deal with that?? It's not clean, just annoying. If anything sounds good, it should be the vocals considering I have a $105 microphone plugged directly into my Mac.
Do I need to plug all instruments into the mac (at least logical ones, bass/electric/acoustic guitars? What exactly do I purchase for that, what kind of chord works with MacPro laptops?
I apologize as this is getting way too long for just a few questions, but I've become very frustrated with GB. I know there's a way to make my music sound professional and not a recording from a "garage" -- per say.
If anyone could answer all of my questions at your convenience, I would be very greatful.
    Thanks so much!

Certainly GB is not the culprit in your case!
    - Putting one mic in front of a band will always sound like crap. For a good vocal track, e.g., the singer has to be close to the mic, and that is true for picking up guitar apms too. In order to put each instrument and voice on their own channel, you either need a multi-channel interface and several mics (and good acoustic isolation so the tracks don't bleed into each other), or you'll have to record them one at a time. You could use the low quality one-mic recording as a "base" track, let everyone play their part over it, and erase the base track in the end. Don't expect a good drum sound with one mic.
For your horrible screw-up problem with the multi-track recording, you'll have to tell us more: Do the vocals on their own sound bad? Do you have clipping? If you have clean recordings on your tracks, GB doesn't have a problem to mix them.

  • Music, video sound disappear

    Device: iphone 4s ios 6.0
Problem: while playing a song, movie, sound may suddenly disappear, and stop playing itself, and the volume bar on the phone the appropriate application, the lock screen or in a multi-tasking is not displayed:
Or the sound disappears, but the program shows like music, films continue to play:
Speaker phone is fine. Because if there is an incoming call, the ring tone is played.
Hardware buttons to adjust the ringer volume or manage or not.
    thus there is a picture:
    what should I do?

I did a search through the forum and this topic is the only one relevant. I too have this problem. However, the videos that I downloaded from the ITMS seem to play fine. It's only the music videos that I have ripped from DVD's that seem to skip when played with audio only. Playing the video and audio works fine, it's only when I want to hear the audio by itself (to conserve batteries and to listen to the song like an album) does skipping occur. It's not the video that seems to be a problem either because it was specifically converted and ripped to play on an iPod. Any help would be appreciated.
