Why do the photos on my iPhone 4 revert to the original after I try editing them on iPhoto?

Ever since I've had my iPhone 4 the photos won't edit (denoise, and sharpness). They continue to revert to the original, this is not the case for cropping and other editing methods. I have tried everything, updating iPhoto and my computer, changing accounts, using a different computer etc. I have now decided that it must be my phone and not my computer. What can I do to fix it?

To see all the photos on the phone, including photos that have already been imported into iPhoto, deselect the "Hide Photos Already Imported" checkbox. If the camera contains photos that have already been imported into iPhoto, those photos are hidden by default.

There are several possible causes for the Black Screen issue
*1. Permissions in the Library* : Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to check and repair permissions.
*2. Minor Database corruption*: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
*3. A Damaged Photo*: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File (or 'Show Original File' if that's available). Will the file open in Preview? If not then the file is damaged. Time to restore from your back up.
*4. A corrupted iPhoto Cache*: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto folder from HD/Users/Your Name/Library/ Caches...
*5. A corrupted preference file*: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
If none of these help:
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

Assuming these are Black and white, iPhoto still needs an RGB colorspace assigned, it can't work with images that are in B&W colorspace.
Scan in color and de-saturate in iPhoto, if required.

Hello - Not everyone lives in Silicon Valley or New York City. I have a relatively slow internet connection so it takes about 2 hours to download a 45-minute tv episode. Yesterday I did that, and today I went to watch it and it had been put back in the cloud! "No problem," says Apple, "You can download it again." It takes f**** 2 hours to download it again. In iOS 7 they remain in a list. This is because now you can optionally turn on automatic app update and so you may want to be able to tell what apps have updated recently. You can just ignore the list if you don't care. Also you will only see the red number badge when there are new ones to update.

Go to: Finder Preferences and under the General tap make sure that the box for External disks is checked.

Can any one tell me why I have photos on my iPhone, iPad, but not my PC? The photos are in my photo stream, but they don't automatically go into the folder. I've had to put them in there, so they obviously aren't linked up to the other devices.

This behavior is normal. Since photos in anything other than the camera roll had to come from your computer, you can not sync them from the phone to the computer. In addition, the photos on the phone are not stored at their original resolution, but are optimized for the display of the phone.
You eill either need to restore from the backup you made of your computer before you re-formatted it, or you will need to invest in 3rd party software to extract the low res photos from the phone.

HT201210 Why can't i get my iphone 3gs out of recovery mode when i try to restore it?

My iPhone 3GS has gone into "Recovery Mode" and ive tried to restore it. When it reaches the firmware it stops and my iPhone restarts and i get an error message saying "The iPhone 'iPhone' could not be restored. An unknown error has occured(1)." Ive tried putting it into DFU mode but it doesn't seem to work (its like it is in a loop). Ive tried different firmwares such as 3.1.3 and 4.1 and it still stops at the firmware section. The iPhone was new out of the box about 4-5 days ago and i get this.
Any suggestions please post below this thread.

You've just exposed your email address to millions of people, some of whom are spammers or worse. That was not a good idea. Expect a massive increase in spam as a result, unless the mods see it and edit it out of your message. You can only restore a 3GS to iOS 5.1.1. Downloading ASPX files throuhg File Explorer - Why is the original content replaced?

I have hit upon this very annoying problem which is dragging down my productivity. I hope some of the experts here might be abble to offer a solution.
My company has SP 2013 deployed. I have some custom ASPX pages deployed to a document library and these pages have no reference to anything of SharePoint at all. Everything works fine. However, when I download those files to local disk using the File Explorer
view, the content of the ASPX pages are modified.
If I look into the original files through SharePoint Designer then everything looks fine. Why would the File Explorer view of SharePoint do such a covert thing.

That profile was written in 2007 and never updated. Unlike you, I don't live on this forum. I have one 5 year old Dell gathering dust, waiting for the trash that has some kids software on it my kids never use.
Currently I own a 27 inch iMac, and a 21 inch iMac used by my wife. I just sold my MacBook Air, which replaced my MacBook Pro of two years ago. I have an AppleTV v2, and unfortunately gave my AppleTV v1 to a friend before I realized they stripped out the movie purchase feature. We also own an iPad, two iPhones, and 4 iPods, two of which are used as digital music storage for our cars.
So yes, all of my factual posts concerning Apple's shocking decision to try to hide the fact they removed significant functionality from AppleTV when they revved it, are just driven by the fact that 4 years ago I used almost no apple products. Apparently I harbor a twisted desire to hurt the company that provides me almost all of my technology of choice today, despite being an early software developer for the Mac, helping start two Macinotosh software companies in the 1980s and 1990s, and working at Apple for 2 years in the early 90s.
The truth is, Apple's products weren't so good 15 years ago so I gradually switched to Windows for professional reasons. About 4 years go I bought an iPhone, and started to wake up to the fact that Apple had done a tremendous job moving the Mac platform to the intel architecture, and was very happy to replace my crappy dells with Apple products.
But that doesn't mean I wear blinders when their product teams and marketing department makes mistakes, or does something deceptive.

Those are aggregated by the Gantt chart. Right-click the block in question and hit "Expand" or equivalent. MWM v2.0 will aggregate Activities in the Gantt chart for display purposes if the Activities are similar.
