I went back to iOS 7 and my backup file is restoring but when its done nothing is on my phone still and only takes 11-15 minutes to restore the backup instead of taking 25+ minutes like usual so I guess the backup is corrupted. How can I fix this?

Answers can only be as helpful as the details provided. And none were given here. It is likely an issue with the device settings, and or a conflict with the type of audio encoding used in the video and the device(s) [tv, stero, amp, etc.] actually playing the audio.

on my 5g the sound just stops ( or doesn't play). there is no sound output from either jack. This has happened in the middle of a podcast. then later has come on and then stopped again. Everything else seems to work ok. resetting and then the new 1.2 update did not help. any suggestions before I bring it back? Thanks...

I put three music videos in mp4 format on my ipod. Two of them play great (video and audio). The third one... the sound shuts off about 10 seconds into playing the video. How can I fix this? I used xilisoft dvd to ipod converter software.

When I stream music from my MacBook to speakers via airport sound stutters on and off. When I do so from iPhone all is fine. Can't seem to find any settings to change Tried to shut off firewall but settings will not let me. All software up to date. Thanks for any suggestions

been looking for something a bit like it got an old ipod thouch in a audio dock in the kitchen and want to give it access to all my music not just play what is synced
so far my only options is to get an app to use upnp to get the music directly from my nas
or get some app which require the computer to be running and running some program to handle it
and as far as I can tell getting access to stuff synced on the atv is a no go -

BudThanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

Why is the sound of my new ipad cutting out intermittently and what does Apple recommend to solve the problem in lieu of any updates? All of a sudden without changing any settings, the audio on my NEW ipad cuts in and out on applications/ games, keypad noise and lock sounds. The rocker button only seems to work while the sound is intermittently being heard before, after a few seconds of noise not doing anything when sound goes off.
This is highly frustrating as I've noticed others posting about such issues as far back as April. Anybody had the same thing happen to them? Is this likely software (ios6) or hardware issue? If it does indeed show the warranty has expired, then what you need to do from here will depend on who you purchased the iPad from and when you really did purchase it. Perhaps you actually purchased it in August and are just misremembering? Check your receipt. If you confirm that you did purchase within the last calendar year, tell us exactly where you got it and we can probably offer advice.

Take it to whoever replaced the screen and see if they can help you.
iPhones are not user servicable and Apple does not sell iPhone parts at all. I'd be surprised if you were actually able to back it up at this point. It sounds like it's completely borked. -
Can anyone tell me why my iphone always shuts off by it self? Its starting to **** me off.
Well, I finally broke down after months of fighting this issue and sprung for a new battery for my two year old 3GS, along with professional install for $50. Interestingly, they ran a diagnostic, thinking my two year old battery was running UNDER voltage and that's why it was shutting off with 70-80% life still in it. Turns out it was OVER volting, not under. Go figure. New battery installed and I have run it through two drain cycles, streaming stuff to try to replicate the issue. Seems to be running like a new phone now. Isn't shutting off until it is truly drained, as it should. :)

Your system was released back in May of 2007 so I suspect you've had it for a while. I know that the CPUs have self preservation modes that will react if the processor gets overtaxed. Try cleaning out the system with some of that air in a can stuff. Blow out the heatsink and processor fins and make sure there's not a lot of dust around the vents and inside. Make sure it's got plnty of air flow into the box. When the fan goes crazy it's the system trying to react what it feels is an excessively warm temp inside. It can also happen when you've got a lot of different programs running that strains the system. The information on the webpage for your system (See here) reflects a base memory of 3GBs If you want, another GB of memory might help the system if it's a 32Bit OS or as much as 8 if it's a 64 bit system. G5 iMac shutting off without warning
Well, it seems as if I'm not the only one having this issue. My G5 20" iMac also shuts off without warning. This just started yesterday and it can be on for a few seconds and kill or be on for a few hours and kill.
I already tried resetting the PRAM and SMU, but that did not take care of it. I saw the other posts about this topic and looked to see if my iMac is eligible for one of the repair extensions.
My EMC number is 2008, not 2056 so it's not eligible for the second one. The serial number starts with W8439 and looks like it falls into the first one.
Is this the case or am I gonna have to shell out some $$$ for the repair?There are in fact two programs for separate iMac G5 releases:
