Why does a page layout show that it is blotchy?

Question

         The page layout on the screen to finalize the printing for the Yosemite 10.10.2 on my 16GB Mac Mini (late 2012) model shows a blotchy layout and when the document is printed it is also blotchy. The settings have not changed, I tried cleaning the printer heads and it still prints blotchy documents; But it doesn't affect documents printed from online; I'm pretty sure that It started shortly after I did a pages software update to the new pages.

You appear to have AVG installed:

From reading on the internet, it appears that when there is a spike in memory usage, AVG "interprets" that as a memory leak, possibly caused by malware. AVG could be incorrect concerning that assumption. Maybe they are being a bit too conservative about memory usage; just my opinion.
The decision is yours to turn off the "advisor" or leave it on.
